Starhammer Posted yesterday at 06:14 AM Posted yesterday at 06:14 AM Just a thought, as I play my newest MA toon, it occurs to me it'd be awesome if Crane Kick was changed from single target to a narrow cone, so that when you kick someone and knock them back, you might do the same to 1-2 guys behind him, like dominoes. Also, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to have a 2nd Melee AoE in the set for high end enhancement sets. 2
Glacier Peak Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Dragon's Tail is a 12ft radius PBAoE - that is about as much as anyone could ask for on a Tanker in a powerset that focuses on ST. Changing Crane Kick to a Cone could help with aggro control though. I'd say the recommendation kind of goes against the focus of the powerset. I think with some discussion I could be in favor of something like what you're recommending. Dragon's Tail has a 12 ft radius on tanks and an 8 ft radius on other melee ATs (I don't see where the OP specifically mentions tanks). I wouldn't object to Crane Kick getting the Head Splitter/Golden Dragonfly treatment (10 ft radius / 20 degree arc). 1 Uuniverse

What this team needs is more Defenders

Sure, but there's Storm Kick, Thunder Kick, Cobra Strike, Crane Kick, Crippling Axe Kick, and Eagles Claw which can all slot ST set bonuses. It could have the same cone as golden dragonfly and hit 3 targets and be fine. Though was going to propose the best option before i even saw this thread, which would be to swap a power for a targetted version of the dom's spinning kick cone (needs fixed to be targetted on doms too!). It would perfectly fix ma's aoe issue, but also an added bonus, you could rotate dragons tail > storm kick > spinning kick > storm kick > dragons tail, and just be a tornado of fury kicks! It would be so dang perfect i'm about to cry how much i need it lol. The set could easily lose thunder kick IMO. The set has still 5 single target powers then, and it wouldn't even increase the sets single target damage at all which is still middle of the road, so it wouldn't be inconceivable for the set to be an outlier by not having faster recharging first couple of attacks.
