Kin, or KinImp3, died on August 3rd, 2025.

 

She was the leader of Guardian's biggest Super Group, Earthclan Elite. She led many raids and task forces and other events back in the day. She taught me a lot in this game, how to farm, how to speedrun various task forces, how to build various toons. And most importantly she was my friend. Because of Kin, I main a kin with a similar build to her main. I will miss her dearly. I'm so glad we got to reconnect after 6 years. See ya on the other side. ❤️

This was the message her husband left to us in her Discord Group:

 

Dear Friends, the writer of this message is not Kin, but her Husband. Some of you have known Kin for decades, back when she was the leader of the #1 Supergroup on Guardian, Earthclan Elite. I fought by her side through all of those halcyon days as Idun, her Second-in-Command. As many of you knew, Kin developed Cancer a little more than eight years ago. She fought it bravely for many years, and despite the ongoing battle, she drew great joy from playing with all of you here. However, there came a time when she was too weak to play, too dazed to use her Laptop or to type and speak here on Discord, and so her voice among you slowly was heard less and less, until it fell silent. I have been caring for her since then. She asked me to tell you all when her time had finally come, and I stand here before you now, carrying that ever-so-painful news. Slightly before 4 AM on Sunday, August 3, Kin passed on. She went as she had always hoped; peacefully, in her sleep. I held her in her last moments. She was a heroine from the start to the finish -- brave and composed even in the worst of situations. I am proud to have known her and loved her, and hope you all will carry on a part of her indominable spirit, that it may inspire you in whatever personal trials each of you may face in the years to come.

Thank you for relaying this.  So sorry to hear of another worthy member of the OG game passing.  I didn't know KinImp3, probably because I played on two other servers.  Did she ever return to the game, either to Homecoming or one of the other offshoots?

Yes, we reconnected in HC, I am glad to be able to say that.  She never really got to play HC as much as she wanted to though, due to her failing health.  I cherish what little time we managed to have on there.  Usually we would chat on discord, mostly about the game.
