Looking for an AT for Psi/Fire, Fire/Psi

Just like the label says:  I have a character concept that is vague enough for any AT or power sets, long as one is psionic and the other is fire based.  As usual, I'm looking to embody the concept so "what role do you want to play?" or something is moot here.  What's worked for you, on what AT?  I'll take pretty  much any AT other than squids or VEATs (sorry fans of those!).

Fire/Psi Dominator is a classic combo with good synergy (psi provides endurance sustain for hot feet with drain psyche). It recently got buffed with the adaptive recharge change to Cinders making Fire Control CC more reliable, so it should be even more worth rolling now.

In case you perceive mind control as equivalent to a psionic control set, then mind control / fiery assault is (also) a solid pairing for a dominator. 

Mind control has been a strong control set for dominators for a long time and it has been noticeably buffed by the recent adaptive recharge change.

Fire/psi sent is fun

I have a Psi/Fire sent who has ended up being one of my favorite sents to play. I tend to joust in and out of melee with her. I'm more of a teamer rather than a soloer, so I'm not sure how well the pairing does solo.

I tend to team too, so the Sent does sound like a good choice.

 

I also lean Dom, so @Auroxis and @Octogoat's suggestions are strong.  Meanwhile, the venerable @JJDrakken posted no less than 4 builds across other various ATs for me on his page. 

 

I haven't closed in on a choice yet, so anyone who wants to speak up, please feel free!

I'm not a fan of JJDrakken's builds myself as they often omit key powers, procs, and generally miss a lot of the goals I have when putting together a build.

 

Here's a goal-oriented end-game build I put together today for a Fire/Psi dom. It's focused around having Domination on auto up even while you go AFK, so as long as you never die you don't need to click it manually. It also has plenty of procs for a good single-target DPS rotation, and has a clear AoE opener in mind (Flashfire->Fire Cages->Spring Attack->Rain of Fire->Drain Psyche->Fireball->Psychic Shockwave->Cinders). Just keep in mind that while leveling you should put another slot into Hasten, Health and Stamina (take those from fire cages) because you can't quite rely on your high recharge at those levels yet.
