Many good points made about the OP nature of T4’s in the Incarnate system, but nobody mentioning how T3 Level shifts impacts the post 50 game for incarnate content.  This is in my opinion what really amps up steamrolling teams.

Only 1 of the three level shifts work in non incarnate content.

Yeah the Alpha +1 is what really cranked up a lot of the raw power you saw giving the +1 to all of us making all heroes lvl 51, and at T4 ignoring a tonne of ED 2/3rds to be exact by the wiki. The T3 of Lore and Destiny level shifts only count in Incarnate content. While the powers they give def amplify characters and pretty much make us immortal, it is just not raw numbers.

Psicy Chill - Ice/Psi/Psi | Sive Ni Brielan - Plant/Earth/Fire | Elemental Elder Lord - Earth/Fire/Fire | Selinia Baneheart - Dark/Therm/Fire | Mylia Stenetch - Necro/Dark/Soul | Radiated Shot - Rad/Arch/Mace | Nameless Witch - Storm/Water/Mu | Phantom Racer - Fire/Cold/Scorp | Neera Darkspar - Beam/Temp/Soul | Neera Etra - Dark/SR | Shieldbreaker - Elec/Shield/Mu | Frozen Tombstress Ice/Rad/Ice | Subliminal Darkness - Psi/Dark/Psi | Mirana Darkblade - Katana/Regen/Soul | Máistir Fiach - SoA Huntmaster | Night Reaver - SoA Widow | Sweet Senpai - SoA Bane

Steam roller teams are steam roller teams because of all the judgements and nukes going off, and rotating destinys. Even without the +1 steam roller teams would still steam roll.

I mean yeah even before the Incarnate system was out people were steam rolling through content like it was no ones business this was not new. It is just much easier than ever before. I mentioned that even if the Lore/Destiny level shifts are not added in most content the powers pretty much make you immortal.

Just a general query as to if anyone as heard if the Incarnate System will ever be complete. as I'm sure everyone knows, there were meant to be 10 incarnate powers, we got o 5 and stopped. While some argue that they made you too OP, Id argue they allowed you to be more versatile while giving a purpose to maxing out characters.

That and like many, ive got so many incarnate threads on characters that i cant use or sell it would be nice to make use of them one day!

The incarnate system would never have been "finished," and was planned that, frankly, "newer" powers and content would make old ones obsolete (in which case, why have ATs and powersets?)

Dug into this a bit in my EATs guide, with links to references.

Honestly, I'm rather glad it never got farther than it did. While I wouldn't mind it growing "wider" for a bit of variety, maybe, it doesn't need to get more ridiculous in powers (and the content that would be required.)

I dunno what everyone's griping about with more and more ridiculous powers. It's not there isn't a precedent. 😄

If we're just spitting out things we want...

Incarnate Power Pools (Incarnatey name TBD)

Incarnates gain up to 3 attacks(tiers 2, 3 & 7 or so) from standard AT attack sets not including pet powers, granting for example MA or StJ melees the ability to add weapon powers whether sword or gun or whatever.

in additio all attacks that are exclusive to MM pet sets are available to all incarnates here

Recharge for tiers should be 15, 25, 45 seconds or so at Very Rare

*incarnate Power Pool powers don't have slots but are as enhanced as if used by a Blaster or Scrapper with 1.5 acc, 2.5 dmg, 1.5 end reduc SOs of enhancement & KB2KD.

Core: these powers keep stock secondary effects with, & deal untyped damage.

Radial: they keep stock 2ndary effects and they deal additional damage types to whatever is stock & gain new secondary effects thematically resonant with the new damage types (No KB)

Either way they are unaffected by global damage buffs, recharge buffs or recharge alphas just like other incarnate powers

Omega(Signature Attack)

Players have access to just about all relevant animations in the game, animation & recharge time are "demerits" the more "demerit" & "demerits" a power has for using it & the more "merit" players can give it, higher incarnate tiers unlock additional demerits players can add which then unlocks more powerful merits.

Core has far greater damage at the cost of utility.

Radial has far greater utility at the cost of damage potential.

5.  Gain a passive that removes your endurance pool completely. Powers now cost HP instead of endurance. Enemies that have been struck by HP spending powers drop orbs that heal you. Orbs can overflow your hp pool up to +200% HP. You deal x% more damage where x is equal to your overflow HP %. Powers and set bonus effects that would provide +end or +recovery instead provide +HP  and +Regen respectively. Your overflow HP quickly drains down to normal when out of combat. You are completely immune to healing and -healing effects (powers, inspirations, procs, debuffs, etc) and +Regen effects have no effect beyond your normal HP cap (they can't contribute to HP overflow). The only way to recover HP is through natural Regen up to your normal HP cap or by picking up the orbs."

This is a really cool idea that can used for a new AT. It would definitely be interesting.

CoH can be so much more than it is currently, and it is AMAZING currently. The only problem is we have to find a way to let NCSOFT allow the devs to collect and keep the money they get. And those funds would be used on staff, servers and some marketing. Even if NCsoft got HALF of all funds coming in, it would still be plenty to hire staff fulltime and then we could see full issues releasing twice a year at least. Marketing, actually, can be handled mostly by players. Give us a badge and many would spread the word beyond what they already are doing lol.

That is the ONLY way we will ever see new content and changes at a faster rate and I hope we can find a way to do it as a community. COH deserves to be around another couple of decades and I really hope we can make it happen. The devs put in a lot of work and deserve to be compensated.
