Ludo
New player here and am really enjoying my "days of future past" experience with CoH. I continue to consume everything I can concerning enhancements, and seem to have an understanding block relative to builds often posted around. For example, a sample of a build could show something like: Level 26: Soul Drain Sciroc-Acc/Rchg(A), C'ngBlow-Acc/Rchg(27), M'Strk-Acc/Dmg/EndRdx(27), M'Strk-Dmg/Rchg(40)Level 28: Lucky DefBuff-I(A), DefBuff-I(31)Level 30: Tough S'fstPrt-ResDam/Def+(A), RctvArm-ResDam/EndRdx(31), RctvArm-ResDam/EndRdx/Rchg(31), RctvArm-ResDam(33), RctvArm-EndRdx(33) Question: What does the (A) and the numbers next to the enhancement slot names mean? Are they levels? Would the answer be apparent if I used a character builder program like Mid's? If the answer involves the strategic use of enhancement levels to avoid diminishing returns and the "rule of five", how do attuned enhancements factor into the builds people post? Thank you in advance.
Generator
The numbers are the levels at which the slots were added (Soul Drain above got its additional slots at 27 (2 of them) and 40). The "A" is the first slot the power came with. Don't know what the "A" stands for in this context, sorry. Does it matter at what level you assigns slots outside of Pvp? I thought that exemplar doesn't factor slots and simply scales your enhancement effectiveness based on level? In either case, ty for clearing this up!
Generator
The level at which the powers are selected matters, but no, not the level at which the slots are added.
Bopper
The "A" stands for Auto, as in when you selected the power, it automatically comes with one slot.
