Haijinx
Actually I have a related question on Hard Caps If I have capped resist at 90, but the actual number is 110, does that mean I have reserve for being Resist Debuffed. Or since its hard capped, that extra is completely wasted?

Quite often you get debuffed and depending on you having debuff resistance, extra numbers can be very critical. For example my fortunata has pretty nice defenses, but no debuff resistance... So even when she is softcapped, if she gets a quicksand under her feet (big defense debuff), she suddenly is pretty squishy again. 1

Yes, it would create a buffer where your resist can't be dropped unless it's debuffed by a value greater than 20%. 6 hours ago, Pyriold said: Both are only accurate most of the time. They get it from Foresight. It's not very much (neither is the to-hit debuff resistance they get from the Widow version of Combat Training: Offensive), but it's leagues better than the nothing Soldiers get.
