No, I utilise all 6 slots in health and all 6 in stamina for set bonuses, there are a multitude of options to slot both, peruse the IO wiki page to choose your own. Horses for courses. I don't give advice, that's a dangerous thing to do. Nor do I make sweeping uninformed judgements on minimal to zero information.

I pore over the IO page in the wiki (here) - I got enough to do, that keeps me afloat - I don't need a test bed - my character is a test bed - when it's slotted right it shows, numbers don't tell real world operability and with each new toon I pore over the IO wiki page again and again - but I don't think I should be telling you how to build your toons because my way work's for me, my way obviously doesn't work for you because you are here arguing the toss of my 20 year proven methodology. TOP TIP - ability take 6 slots, not 10. EDIT: Your point is incorrect. You don't have the information that you think you do. I only expressed my staple slotting so that I can benefit from my chosen set bonuses which far outweigh lesser useful bonuses. My 'game life long' anecdote which has occurred from retail to as recently as yesterday is that even with 2 tanks and 2 brutes on a team I am so well slotted by learned experience that I predominantly am the highest threat on most teams I play on. More so now with the recent boost in popularity.

Not going to happen, this is a game not a job, I get by very well with it. You play by numbers all you want to. If I played by numbers it would suck all of the creative joy from the game.

That's where I am on this argument. The devotee of any game gets the goodies when they first arrive, why should CoH be different. I was here securing my chosen names from the beginning, where were you (latecomer) whilst I've been supporting my game? I don't hoard names either, except for a minimal amount I wish to later develop. It is not unknown even on live that there existed name blockers. Some of those blockers sold names just like internet 1.0 do and have always done due to the non fungibility of names there and here.

One staple I have in slotting is six slotting health and stamina on every toon. End can deplete immediately so I have to mitigate that, apart from that anything goes which will facilitate a more effective toon.

I've never seen my surname in any game, I don't expect to. Oddly it isn't even a part of the local culture in my hemisphere. Now that could explain some oddity about my biology! I don't expect to see my name in a game in my lifetime. Now, depending on how randy future 'same named' people are they could spawn a game developer one day with my name who would want to see their name in a game so...

Yes, it's always a possibility. Might just as well be economical and get a full set of six but I've split sets years ago. I tend to not do these days but it is always an option at the sacrifice of 2 set bonuses which may not be so beneficial if slotted.

Took me a long, long time to git gud on a blaster, learnin n learnin... Like many have said, it is a combination of learning the AT and what the game throws at us. Learning what I can use to mitigate that with slotting. Now I run a kitted out blaster with maybe a little room for improvement. But that's the game to me, I don't want it all 'nao', I want the experience of having, well, the experience. I've had 20 years out of this game and I fully intend to carry on learning. It isn't a game where I get to the top and that's it the game is done. The game isn't done. I'll never be fully conversant with the whole game but I've learned enough to get by. Your journey is just starting out, enjoy the falls for without them the highs are just inclines.

Also, legally speaking, ignorance of the law is no excuse from it.
