Which Roles/Archetypes are most needed for endgame?
Water replied to Beansicus's topic in General Discussion
What the Wiki says ( https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Invention_Origin_Enhancement_Set_Bonus ) Set Bonuses and Exemplaring When a character exemplars down to a lower level access to set bonuses (and Global IOs that function as set bonuses) is based on the level of the Enhancement and not the power they are slotted in. Exemplaring more than three levels below the level of the Enhancements renders the set bonuses non-functional. However as long as the character does not exemplar more than three levels below the level of the Enhancement the set bonuses are retained even if the power they are slotted in is unavailable. Purple (Very Rare) sets, PvP sets, Archetype Origin sets, and Winter Origin sets are exempt from this rule and their set bonuses function regardless of the character's exemplar level. Attuned Enhancements change their level based on the character's current Combat Level so the set bonuses will only shut off if the character exemplars more than three levels below the minimum level allowed for the Enhancement. Soo ... the attuned bonus will carry lower - the unattuned will not. The Frankenslotting is still the winner, looks like. -

There is absolutely no need for me and my enjoyment of the game to have a boosted 50 only build so that I can play 1 X 4 star per week with a leader who plays by the clock. I recommend (to everyone) playing the game your way. -

If you have attuned 2 Scirocco's Dervish and 2 unattuned Scirocco's Dervish in a power - you get the 10% regen twice. Once for the attuned set and once for the unattuned set. Hope this explains it -

Well, I'm going to make you sadder - loads of gamers play games their own way. -

Unless they are in a set for bonuses, then the attuned and unattuned have their own set bonus each. -

Only that I build a character in mind to PUG. Kit it out with Attuned enhancements with Catalysts so I can be an effective player on most any team. -

Endgame to me is a fully Attuned character. ⚡ -

I'd say that a Corruptor is hard to solo (for first timers) despite being great in a team. If I had to recommend something it would be Blaster as they can be effective solo and in a team whilst observing and learning the game. You might want to warn them off the HEATs and the VEATs initially until they have some experience in the game. Additionally this is a must resource:- https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Main_Page as is this page from the same wiki:- https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Enhancement_Sets and these useful two:- https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Strike_Force https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Task_Forces Hope your friends have fun and don't forget to have them sign a disclaimer in case they cannot put the game down and it takes over their lives! -
CONGRATULATIONS players ❤️ Don't drink, think, but if you do drink - this might be an apt drink to drink today. (never heard of this vodka before today)

More choice out there than I realised, thanks for the links.

I just installed Bitdefender Free rather than chuck £100 at it.. It doesn't have a firewall so I uninstalled it. Then I discovered the Bitdefender Agent would not uninstall as Bitdefender VPN was installed. No way to uninstall Bitdefender VPN without having Bitdefender Free (or paid) installed to uninstall it so I reinstalled Bitdefender Free again to uninstall Bitdefender VPN. That is all I need to know about Bitdefender Free, I would imagine that the paid version is the same rigmarole. What a cojones ache. I'll be returning to Avast Basic which I used 2 decades ago and never had any issues with it:- FYI - https://www.avast.com/en-gb/avast-one#pc I used to use Malware bytes too and I'll be complimenting Avast with that once again. That should be reasonable FREE protection from hackers who want all of my valuable cat pics.

What would you do if you were a DEV?! (Fun Ideas Talks)
Water replied to SSR's topic in General Discussion
I'd make crafting in any base have a 2% (or some other random donation amount) contribution of the crafting fee go to the base owner. Crafting in your own base you'd lose nothing. Crafting in another base which you admire would show your appreciation for the work which went into it and/or the services it provides like Cosmic Transport for example and the CC competition organisers bases and the MSR organisers bases. Yes yes, 2% is negligible and it would come out of the 5% we are charged anyway for reasons. It might cause more interest in base building (or not). Could it even get more people doing more story? -
Thank you for your meaningful thank you. Being equally thankful for all who make this project a reality, player and Dev alike. (well, the nice ones 😈) ⭐
