Is early Praetoria (level 1-20) really that difficult?
Water replied to Apogee's topic in General Discussion
No it isn't. But when it was released in 2010 I spent a lot of time working out how to get all of the badges without missing any by changing alignment correctly to do so., It took several attempts and re-rolling to do it and I had a blast during the process, finally being rewarded with what I had worked for. I don't know about the replayability of Gold zone but it is no more difficult than any other zone once you become experienced in the game. -
I think it could be in the language style of Stheno...

If you wanted new powers what would it be?

I think a healing set has more promise with those names 😄 -
Yep, we've been shining ever since we stole our game back in 2019. 😛

If you have the time and the willpower there is nothing stopping you as UR5 is free to use.

The instance I heard of exploration badges and plaques on live when I 'free trialled' the game all of those years ago I was hooked (maybe it was an "ooh! Shiny!" moment). I've almost memorised all of the zones and still use Viodiot Maps location images to get the ones I cannot remember. These days I can do the whole map in 2-3 hours including gold/red/blue/echo sides. It's so easy to just roll to another map for 5-10 minutes in quiet times and all of a sudden that's all of the explores done. Most count toward other badges and some toward accolade abilities. It is a well developed system of activity by the original devs and I'm glad HC see fit to maintain and expand it. I seen a lot of toons over the years tell me they aren't interested in badges, in the knowledge that they give +endurance/+hit-points and other abilities. Personally I enjoy the activity of collecting them in the open world and the rewards they give. Each zone with all explore badges collected gives 5 merits and a small amount of xp.

Armed with a thesaurus and t'internet I've never been stuck for a name. I like the exclusivity of a name in this game once I have found one. Now, after centuries of the English language usage we still haven't run out of words, knock yourself out with your own creativity. There is only one [insert your exclusive name here]

I log my valuable (to me) names so that they don't hit the loss threshold, just in case. And I also remove those I don't wish to use. Essentially I sit on the ones I want for the future and have released those I will never use.

I don't know how to word this without upsetting anyone/everyone or tempting some troublesome retort to my views in an attempt to nullify them. But it's like this.... ....why join a team if you don't wish to play in one? I have any number of characters who can solo TF's/SF's/Arcs etc and when I want to solo I won't play in a team. Contrary to that in this pretty easy game, we still have the 'glory seeker' - especially now with the large new influx due to our legitimacy. The glory seeker wishes to be on your team whilst not play as a team, even in a 'kill all'. They would rather away to the final objective as the rest of the team (up to 7 players) are transformed into the soloists' sweeping brush for 'those pesky required foes' thereby depriving our new influx from learning the game and its intricacies. It only serves to show to a new player that once you you are fully slotted you can ignore your team mates and just take off to show off how 'GRAND' you are at the game with your 'ace' powers and enhancements. STOP - solo the TF/SF if you want to, nobody cares and more power to you, but if you join a team play as a team.

She'd rather be out there 'fighting the fight' but instead has to deal with likes of you .. (and me) ..

No. The advantage of SGs now is for storage mainly, collecting alts and if desired forming a small temporary specialising team. A lot of SGs are so large that if you are an altoholic, by the time you return to a previous toon to run it again which was in somebody else's SG it will have been kicked. So not worth joining any other SG unless for a specific purpose and if you are regularly on without a break. That isn't how most play so they use SGs for utilitarian purposes as Shenanigunner says.

Been back for 5 years (nearly) where the hell have you been????? Game is much better. Easier to level, plenty of QoLs, large population. A much nicer player base than live. Access to purps. Bright future. I could go on....

OMG where have you been for the last 5 years ??? Nah, welcome home - enjoy.

Mails have been known to go missing on live - seems stable enough on HC (which is now the new live) but, one never knows. -
Time manipulation is an excellent support set with excellent healing.
