  1. The Witch’s House is stunning! Easily the coolest thing I’ve seen in CoH! Also I love Posey and Shreddybear so much!
  2. Toxa on Justice. 👋 I've been on Everlasting but now also on Excelsior. Maiden Fury, Lady Stormsurge, Charnel, Spicy Atom, and Safeword? are a few of my chars on Exc. Oh and Toxa I guess
  3. Marine and Storm Blast work really well together. I did a video on it recently--it was a Defender in the video, but it applies to Corrs as well. Storm adds a lot of damage mitigation from KD and terrify, on top of the debuffs and KD that Marine brings. The only catch is that you have a lot of powers that have to be placed, and in a fast-moving group you're not going to have the time to set up all your stuff. But it's a solo monster. One of the strongest pairings that I have on my roster of Defenders and Corrs. Also, and this is huge: you will look amazing.
  4. Once Cardiac solved my end problems, I ended up slotting Dark Consumption with just a bunch of damage procs and now it's like a mini-nuke.
  5. One of my mains is a Bio/KM tank, though I played KM on brute as well. Not trying to convince anyone that it's actually secretly really good, but I've managed to get enjoyment out of the set once I changed how I was slotting my attacks. Before I would just 6-slot with whole sets, but now I'm loading up on +recharge procs everywhere I can put them. On KM, you have several good places for those. That along with a couple of damage procs in every attack. I skipped Concentrated Strike altogether. Between the single target attacks, the cone (slotted with KB->KD), and the PBAoE, I'm constantly reducing the cooldowns on my longish Bio powers, and Siphon Power of course. My recharge is high enough that the PBAoE and Cone are a complete attack chain. Also, the cone is just fun to use as you approach a big group of enemies, feels like bowling.
  6. Extremely hard pass. The difference between losing power and missing out on potential power is a distinction without a difference. A system that increases character power based on cosmetic choices diminishes player agency in designing their characters. Under that system, you would have to weigh your creative design choices against the potential power benefits you stand to gain or lose. No one wants a world where participating in some trial not only requires a good IO build but also long legs.
  7. Soliciting advice on improving my Dark/Dark/Dark tank. 💀 I'm not unhappy with her current build, but also my knowledge is really out of date, and I'd like to see what choices someone else would make for this combination, or if I'm slotting something in a way that makes no sense. Lady Nightstar - Tanker (Dark Armor - Dark Melee).mbd
  8. I've been enjoying /EA on sentinels, and have no problems eating alphas. I also have a Dark/Dark/Dark that I really enjoy. Those are the only sets I've tried, but my experience so far is that they are much sturdier than I was led to believe.
  9. My main is a former Praetorian citizen whose brain was hijacked by an alien parasite. I've always assumed Praetorian origins would be as wide and varied as Primals.
  10. EDIT because this worked for me... I moved the CoH app from /Applications to /Applications/coh/ When I launched Island Rum, it couldn't find the client and began downloading. Once finished, both HC 32 and 64 were now blue. I launched 64, and a window popped up saying that it was updating Wine. Once it finished, 64 launched without a hitch. I don't understand this stuff, so I have no idea why this worked. I think I’ve tried everything mentioned so far. Homecoming (32) attempts to launch then crashes with a “divided by zero” error, Homecoming 64 is greyed out and attempting to launch it does nothing—green checkmark appears for a few seconds then returns to normal. Fortunately, safe mode is still able to launch and is stable, so I’m grateful for that. For what it’s worth, HC64 was running beautifully until yesterday when I restarted Island Rum and it appeared to download a patch. From that point forward, 64 was greyed out and the problems began
