I’m not going to get into a whole big thing with you on this, but you’re wrong. My cousins are Mexican (as in emigrated from Mexico), and sugar skulls do not carry the same religious, political or cultural freight as a war bonnet. Sugar skulls — inspired by Roman Catholic priests and missionaries living in Mexico in the late 1700s who brought the Easter sugar art tradition from Italy — are not dissimilar to Christmas wreaths. The war bonnet is a whole other level.

Hard NO on the headdress. That’s a religious thing, akin to asking for the Pope’s mitre or Sikh dastar. Let’s not disrespect people for a game.

Seconded. I’d also like for there to be some options where the glow is turned off, such as the tail and back of neck bits. Additionally, I *really* love the glowing eyes in the Organic Armor, Medusa, and Bio-Organic faces, preferring them over the auras, but all of those faces come with other glowing parts I try to hide (Organic Armor neck) or are just extreme and niche designs. If we had glowing eye options on just normal faces, I’d be putting those on half my characters. (Which at 150+ is saying something. But that’s how much I like them.) I don’t know if that’s a difficult task but yeah, if I could have just one thing added, it would be the inherent glowing eyes.

I did find its range to be highly variable. One time I missed the group I attacked and hit a guy in the next group. Is that some kind of buff from the set or a glitch?

I made a Blaster to try it, without any P2W powers as fillers. My initial impressions of the set are mostly positive. I can see what others mean about foes being obscured. That’s going to be a huge negative going forward when teaming with melee players. I tried the Lava and Crystal versions of the powers and they look cool, but they’re completely hidden by Stone Prison and Entomb, particularly the former, to the point where I actually found myself using it more sparingly so I could see the neat colors of the other powers. While it definitely has Blaster-level damage, playing it feels like a robust Defender. It doesn’t feel Blastery at all. I have no idea about artists and animators on the team, but for a Seismic Blaster I think there should be at least a couple low-level powers which look like high-velocity rocks are being being thrown and shattering, sort of like Ice Bolt. The powers as they are would suit a Dominator, for sure, but as a Blaster I kinda want to throw rocks. 😈

If this is referring to the PBAoE of the shockwaves knocking down nearby foes, I like it. It greatly increases survivability, particularly at the lower levels.

Same. Playing my SM/Elec Brute last night was a real exercise in frustration due to the End issues, particularly against Freak stunners. The only silver lining was that I got the middle two debt badges. 😐 Not having all the toggles drop constantly would be a delight. Parking him until this goes live.

Nice. It never occurred to me to try to recreate a Shivan due to their translucent bodies, but I didn’t think of stealth powers. Clever!

Inspired by Stallion, I wanted to make another horse-themed character. No names were available... until I tried "Sea Horse". That set me off on a whole new tangent and I came up with a look which immediately garnered many compliments, which were much appreciated. It’s all about patience and 350 screenshots. 😂 But in all seriousness, I think you’ve made the true successor to Coyote, which is my favorite NPC design in the game. (And of course the backstory about the young guy who made the character is heartbreaking, adding to it.) Which server is this on? Maybe he can team up with my high-kickin' gal, Palomino, who is on Torchbearer.

This really is horrifyingly good. I was at that event and I agree there were a large number of truly inspired characters. (I particularly liked whoever made “School Spirit”.) But this is genuinely terrific, and a well-deserved win.
