Hey Sable, what would you suggest to place instead of the purples (im not THAT rich) sets you have in the various powers?

oh totally what with the XP mods you can "buy" and such. I already am sitting at 34 now.

ahh see that is the exact opposite of what I would want to do. I plan to be in my human form for the most part and only go into Dwarf form as a "oh crap" moment. I do not want to spend most of my time in dwarf form.

My budget is...a little bit above a Common IO budget I think. HOWEVER, keep in mind that right now I dont need something that is too expensive but as to your doing IO builds early its never to soon to start thinking about them. Right now I just am looking for something that is at my current level and a guide on what powers I should be taking now, and how to start slotting them. I guess the powers that must be in the lvl 31 build are Dark Dwarf, Gravity Well, Starless Step (i think thats the enemy teleport option) and any shields I might need for surviving in Human form a bit more. If I can start on the IO builds early though then sure!

So after leveling with a few teams and getting to lvl 31 on my WS I am now wanting to go bi-form. Problem is I have no idea how to build him currently so that he actually is survivable outside a team. The thing that I would like is the Dark Dwarf power. I dont want to do Dark Nova and as I am only lvl 31 cannot do endgame builds just yet. Eventually I am going to turn him into a HF WS but leveling wise I would like to go with Bi-form (dwarf). So can anyone suggest a good lvl 31 build utilizing Dwarf?

Yeah I might have to bite the bullet and use the tri-form until a certain point then respect to bi-form. I have no issue going lobster for a few moments but I HATE that squid look. 😛

Currently my PB is just sitting at lvl 14 and hes going full human form. I have not started up my WS yet though but want to.

Provided of course that you can hit the mob. My PB at one point was whiffing on ever single attack he tried and he had ACC enhancements slotted into his attacks and it was an even level mob. Whiff whiff whiff whifff while the quantum looks at me and says "hold my beer" fire *stun* fire *dead* I raged quit after that little experience. Now, to be fair, I was pretty low level but the fact of the matter is that I always have difficulty when dealing with quantums no matter what level I am. I want to play a WS since I still love their power looks but any advice for PBs will also work out well. I know they will be different of course due to powers they can employ.

So on live I played a WS for a good while, I loved the attacks and the look of the powers and got to a pretty high lvl with him before the game shut down (I think 42 or something). I tried to play as a bi-form (human/dwarf) build since I detested the squid look but thats my personal preference. One thing always got me though and those were those DAM*ABLE, FU**INK Quantum's that appeared in the mobs. So please, other then then answers of Get Gud and other such nonsense please help me to understand how you mitigated this threat to our energy seafood selves. I am looking for a strategy to help with dealing with these mobs as they can two shot us pretty fast. I was playing a PB at one point and I got shot, stunned and then shot again and died. The next time I kept whiffing the mob and it pretty much hit me constantly even eating greens it just kept hitting me all the time with no misses. Luck obviously had looked at me, laughed and discarded my charred remains into a nearby dumpster. So yeah, not having a good time with my kheldians this go-around. 😞

Good to hear and yeah I just wanted to get some opinions and I knew they would all be random and different depending on who is giving them. I am thankful for all the responses though as well as the advice. 😄

Hmm...what would it take to get Fire Breath and Fire blast back in there? I kinda like those two power choices or would it mess up the build to have them?

Interesting...i will have to get rid of Flight and sub in the speed but that isnt necessarily a bad thing (unless vertical movement comes into effect) but I will deal. This looks to be quite a cool build. Thank you!

So I am now lvl 38 on my Fire/EA toon and I really am having a lot of fun with him. I have not gotten any IO sets on him yet but was wondering when I do hit 50 what should I start going for (and saving inf for)? I really don't know how to do builds effectively. Obviously I am going for damage but want to softcap the def/res aspect as much as the powerset allows me to. Any build, even a startup one, would be helpful. I just need some direction to go in as what sets should I prioritize vs what shouldn't i even attempt to put into the powers.

Automatic bankruptcy hearing has been scheduled. I wish I had this much influence at any given time of playing this game both on live and Homecoming.... Oh I wish i was a rich man... lol

So first off the question. When would be a good starting point to get into the land of Crafted IO sets? Should I wait till 50 to start going for them or should I start earlier? Second part is the build help. I am mostly a solo player but will team up with just about any group that will have me so I want something that will help me get through the main content and into the Incarnate area's. Really not trying to min/max but want a build that will provide me with good overall damage (as much as a sentinel can) and of course softcap resistance and Def as much as possible with the /EA powerset. End recovery is also a factor since I want to be able to hurl fire everywhere and leave the battlefield a scorched wasteland essentially 😄 Of course I'm exaggerating but builds were never my strong suit and I just am looking for some good advice from the forumites here. Edit: One thing just to keep in mind that I do have fly and hover but whatever other power pools are fair game. Those two however I would like to keep.

Is this bug still in there after the Oct. 1 patch or has it been actually fixed?

I had a PAX code that turned you into one of those neat mech-armored PPD officers. I had my fire toon wear it all the time. I miss that costume.

Just my .02 The AI used for the pets was at one point "nerfed" I think after i23 (or maybe 22) All I know is that the minions, pre-i23/22 (bots in this case) would be content to shoot their lasers and maybe one of them would go in for some melee goodness and promptly get himself into a whole heap of trouble. After the AI "nerf" it seems they ALL want some of that action and have a death wish. Is there anything that could be done to revert this? Also, if not, could we possibly get the little buggers some more HP?

wait...no proton heal? Is that because of all the Set IO's making it not needed? Am I missing something here?
