Mayhaps even the Primal Carnival could be subject to splintering factions? 😉 Maybe some who don't agree with The Primal Signorina Devore's ruthlessness? 🙂 ITF stands for Imperious Task Force, Imperious being the previous vessel of the powers of Zeus in the Cimeroran timeline, whose successor later became Marcus Cole/Statesman As for The Carnival of Darkness, Well... I wouldn't be surprised if an SG already exists with that name 😉 -

Again... Players need to be given a choice on that, and if this is such a good idea, give people a choice to OPT-IN or OPT-OUT that's all I got on that... I wouldn't know squat about the secret server years (I'm guessing you're referring to January 2013-March 2019), because all there was for everyone else (including me) at that time was "PARAGON CHAT" Security/Privacy concerns.... Depending on what kind of information you will make people provide

Honestly I think there is no point in continuing this discussion, or modifying ANYTHING... The rules are set, and its time to simply just accept the factors as they are and move on about your gaming experience... Nuff said... That is not a good idea, from a security/privacy point of view and there are MANY who will REFUSE to Opt in, mandating anything is NEVER a good idea... (if you're suggesting that this be mandatory of course...), one should always be given a choice, not have something foisted upon them...

That right there will not win you points anywhere, and the entire point of what you're asking sounds slightly selfish, but of course that's my opinion tho, and my answer to this request would be a firm NO. Its not for me to decide, nonetheless, and yet I felt the need to drop my 2 cents.

There was ACTUALLY a Praetorian PvP zone that was never implemented (possibly got scrapped at the last minute) which could readily be integrated with the right maps and hazard zones built and put into place. Here's a snapshot from Paragon Chat: Its likely that it would require some code tweaks, since it wasn't completed and it can only be accessed via Paragon Chat, I tried to get an image of the map, but its not available sadly 😞 But the unfinished stuff is there, just needs some form of implementation -
I posted in the suggestions thread to be more specific about goldside, where technically its supposed to go. And as I stated before, Number Six' arc left me with more questions than answers...

That actually makes sense, as I'm sure there is a lesser unhinged (more frustrated) faction of resistance crusaders and potential unhinged loyalists as well, so I'd be down with that. That's a part that would require a major overhaul and also to turn Nova, Imperial, and Neutropolis into Echo zones or simply have updated destroyed city models for level 50's. -

Level 50 stuff is going to be tricky namely because it will require building new game components (assets) New maps, and new zones. One concept that I would like to see is missions focusing on rebuilding ALL of Praetorian Earth, and looking for survivors, and other-dimensional interlopers seeking to gain from the events of Hamidon's rampage, something which will require development. Another tricky thing would be the concept of hybrid alignments for those from Praetoria, which will require more development and thought. -

Yes, if you're between levels 7 - 20 they would have to be safe-guarded the same way as they were in Galaxy City when you help Twinshot against the clockwork as well as with the meteors, then when you fight the clockwork in Manticore's mansion and discover Twinshot's background in Ultimatum. Obviously an incursion mission into Primal Earth would have to have the four split goldside alignments (Power Loyalist, Responsible Loyalist, Resistance Warden, Crusader Resistance Nutcase) and would have to include both Paragon City and The Rogue Isles. More or less yes, in this case, for the Loyalists you would have the prototype Portal in Keyes Island, and Underground Neutropolis for the Resistance Portal from where you could launch these incursion missions. -

Praetorian Incursions into Primal Earth (use Ricochet or some other loony Resistance to pay a visit to a like-level zone in Paragon City of your choice, or help Maelstrom conduct recon for the Empire on the side of the Loyalists) to find ways to convince the primals to help, similar to how the Shining Stars/Hearts of Darkness mechanic works, just as an example. -
This is a followup to my point on Post-First Ward/Night Ward (level 32-39, then Level 40-49) Problem 1: Once Lamashtu and Serene are out of the Picture to normality DOES NOT Praetoria return, this is at level 32 and over, and your focus is turned elsewhere (be it Rogue Isles if you decide to pursue the Patrons, or Paragon City) leaving you with nothing else to focus on or work on afterwards (and nothing to fill in the void between the events here and the eventual Underground trial later). Proposition 1: There are Primal Earth contacts which currently have no equivalents in Praetoria, thus I was proposing some form of storyarc chains dealing with the Hamidon's onslaught developing in First Ward (a chain of events eventually leading to the underground incarnate trial) using the Praetorian counterparts of said Primal Earth contacts for these, and the appearance of Praetoria's devouring earth breaking through the sonic fences as things continue deteriorating between Cole's empire and Hamidon's patience. There is also a chance to link certain events here with ones in The Hollows. I have several ideas for the development of said goldside arcs for implementation later on in development just as the recent "Second Chances" and the Vigilante/Rogue arcs that came out last year and later. Who would I need to talk to in order to help develop these? Primal Earth Spies/Helpers in Praetoria? (level 7-20) I'm well aware that it is possible to do most Praetorian Arcs from Ouroboros and that in itself could grant some badges. But WHAT IF?: There were some Primal Earth contacts present already in Praetoria (on the Heroic side) looking to do the right thing? This could be from stopping the emperor from making the mistake of invading Primal Earth while avoiding disrupting the current order of things and coming to a mutual understanding (Heroes pleading with the Loyalists to reconsider), Or: Try to convince Calvin Scott into reigning in the Crusader nutcases among his faction and find other ways of underminding Cole (Heroes trying to find ways to break Tyrant's hold on Praetoria without any single casualties whatsoever), Or: Feigning loyalty to Emperor Cole and helping Arachnos and other Villain groups sabotage the Empire in order to facilitate Lord Recluse's dominance in Praetoria (Rogues/Villains infiltrating the empire and taking over), Or: Use the Resistance as a means to help Arachnos or yourself gain the upper hand in order to take arms against Cole (Rogues), Or: Help the Resistance bring down Cole by any means, because it's for the greater good (Vigilantes). Primal Presence in Praetoria could help to further delve into either The Carnival of Light, and flesh out all the differences between dimensions.

I have something that hasn't been addressed or even touched on, because it seems no one else has wanted to bring it up: GOLDSIDE (Loyalists and Resistance included) Post (or after) First Ward/Night Ward (level 32-39, then Level 40-49) No additional arcs exist after handling Lamashtu or Serene, and there's no mention of the Devouring Earth preparing to overrun Praetoria, thus leaving huge story gaps... (Maria Jenkins' arcs do not meet the criteria of what I am referring to) I had to trim my observations and concerns to keep focus on the thread topic at hand, and I will post my ideas in the Suggestions section

Here is an introductory note for the idea from an dialogue between Mender Ramiel and a junior Ouroboros Acolyte: One day, while going through several events in the timestream, one ouroboros acolyte spoke to Ramiel about a finding he'd just made, it was First Ward as it had been before the seeds of Hamidon and the devouring earth completely destroyed it, back before when it was known as "The First Praetoria" which served as an inspiration for the creation of Nova Praetoria later on. "Ramiel! Look at this!" Said the acolyte "I never thought I'd find a record of First Ward prior to its complete destruction! has anyone else looked at this?" inquired the young acolyte to Mender Ramiel. Ramiel looked at the pillar intently, studying the images "No! I don't believe anyone has, or should, except maybe... Montague Castanella!" Is it possible that a new Echo zone can be created in Praetorian Earth? Obviously the zone I was referring to would be none other than Echo: First Ward/First Praetoria which is obviously First Ward as it was before its complete destruction, and the Westerman Building serving as some sort of Commerce or Local City Government location, and a smaller scale underground with a location that's sealed off. Enemy groups present around the city would be the following: Imperial Defense Forces (scaled down) Praetorian Police Department (same as with Nova) Destroyers Syndicate Resistance T.E.S.T. Enemy Groups around the forbidden crags Disfigured mutants (Pre-Ghoul) Devouring Earth (Herders, Mushroom Caps, Golems, Quartz, and Lesser Devoured) Shepherds Dregs Renegade Carnival of Light (the faction that will become Carnival of War) White Knights Enemy Groups around Mercyview Cemetery Low level Apparitions (Could use the ghosts from Croatoa) Pumpkin fiend (The Strengs from Croatoa) Ravenwing Cabal (Could Recolor the cabal witches from Croatoa and have them appear here) Midnight Masters (Recolored Midnight Squad) I'll leave the rest of the Dev Intellect to fill in the other Enemy groups, but this is more or less what I was thinking of. Alright, I have some concerns about adopting the new launcher, mainly because I still use Senticon and Paragon Chat, which I occasionally use to put concepts together for storylines involving my alts (namely as AE is still somewhat limited at this moment) and because of NPC costume pieces being available. I understand Senticon and PChat are not under active maintenance, but is it possible that some form of compatibility is maintained with these two utilities? Why do you ask? I need to have some kind of backup to I can have interaction between my alts offline, and just to be prepared in case anything happens. I also don't want to lose any of the settings I have on Tequila...

I like this a LOT! And I'm going to ADD to it 🙂 In addition to the Rogue Isles and Paragon, we're going to add PRAETORIAN Earth! YES, that's right! We could have Imperial and Neutropolis storming from one end to the other, and the water level also goes up. You have marauding hordes of Destroyers, Praetorian Coralax hordes, and Praetorian Devouring Earth (minus the seers, TEST, Seedlings and Greater Devoured) Syndicate and other low level thugs. Then you have the PPD trying to maintain order and the Imperial Defense Forces out in full show of force, as well as Riptide and a few other Powers Division trying to keep order. You have a contact for the power loyalists and villainous or rogue leaning loyalists (Mr G, or Hetzfeld) to use brute force to keep order, you have a contact for the Responsible Loyalists and former Hero leaning Loyalists (Riptide, Marauder, or even Anti-Matter) to minimize casualties but keep order, then on the resistance you have a Crusader Contact to include Villain or Rogue Leaning Crusaders (Calvin Scott, or Splice) instructing you to use the storm against the Loyalists, a Warden Contact or Vigilante and Hero Leaning Warden (Helix, or Belladonna Vetrano) to help the resistance gain an advantage without casualties, and finally Vanessa Devore with the carnival of light as a contact for Primals (Heroes, Villains, Rogues, Vigilantes as well as former Loyalist or Resistance) asking the Heroes and even the Villains to prevent Praetoria from being completely torn apart regardless of alignment. Loyalist Badges include: Savior of the Empire, Exceptional Loyalist, Still a Loyalist at heart, For Might and Glory, Glory to the Empire, Heart of Power, Maintain the order Resistance Badges include: Opportunity knocks, Hit em where it hurts, Chaotic Rebel, Rebel without a cause, Noble Hearted Rebel, Heart of Chaos, Rebel and Free Primal Badges including former Praetorian: My Empire tis of thee, Praetoria the Brave, Brave Praetorian Heart, Back again, For Old time's sake, Two time's the charm, Saving the empire twice, Liberator of Praetoria, Model Praetorian, Noble Primal, Opportunistic Praetorian Scoundrel (If Loyalist villain), Rebel Scoundrel (if Resistance villain), Primal Praetorian, Honorary Praetorian, Noble Hearted Praetor (Incarnate)

I'm unaware if its been addressed or talked about, but since I don't recall or seen it, I'll chime in with my two cents. I'd like to note that the AE Powersets and ATs are SEVERELY LIMITED, and I can see some of you looking at me like "Dude you're CRAZY!" so let me explain. There's NO Hero-Specific Archetypes, and no Villain-Specific Archetypes (Yes HEATS and VEATS), and many of the secondaries and primaries available in the character creator when you roll up a toon are not available in the Architect Entertainment character creator. It is also impossible to roll-up your own custom Arachnos type character just as you would in the live character creator, thusly I ask; Is it possible to port the VEATS and HEATS into AE? I like the Electric Affinity and some of the other unlisted secondaries available on the live character creator; is it possible for these be ported to AE? Are there limitations, or porting issues? Others not available include: Martial Combat, Martial Assault, Radiation Armor, Radiation Manipulation, Traps, Luminous/Nova/Dwarf, Dark/Nova/Dwarf among many others... I understand there are Kheldian Enemy groups, but those are un-customizable and its impossible to really make a believable human-form kheldian type of NPC. Edit 4: I just thought of some of the unused maps from the game that I saw on Pchat, one of them is called "Dispel Magics Plane" which would be awesome in an Apocalyptic type of cliffhanger storyline There's also some maps unique to the Number Six Arc which show the events after Hami destroys Praetoria which would certainly be nice to be able to use, and also the Dark Astoria, Hamidon Tunnels, Great Ceremony and Halloween maps, just to name a few. Is it possible that some of these can be added to the list of available maps like the map above? Opening some of these maps up would open the door multiple options for time-travel alteration arcs, retelling of some trial arcs, and even creating a brand new arc all-together. And so I ask once more, can it be done? 😄 -
Not 100% Sure if it is related, but when I launched tequila, it updated the HC-Beta binary, and afterwards I got the following error: I was checking to see if Page 6 was up yet

When trying to launch HC-Beta64 and HC-Beta32 from Tequila, I get the following error: The HC-64 and HC-32 (The live versions) work fine, as well as HC-Staging 64 and HC-Staging-32, so the issue is isolated to Beta
