Not that I know of. Maybe a GM can... But if it's still small enough, just kick everyone (yourself, last) to delete and start over.
-
You can also earn it with a day job accolade, Rapid Response This is a combo badge, earned with 2 day job badges: one by logging out next to a base portal for "Monitor Duty", and the other on the street for "Patrol".

According to the list of key names in the P-wiki, you should be using "ADD" for the number pad plus sign.

Pleas re-read my OP... I KNOW where the box is, I have unchecked it.... IT DOES NOT STICK Even after I put in my password, which is required at the bottom of the page, IT DOES NOT STICK The notice comes up that my profile has been changed successfully, but the box is mysteriously checked again.... IT WILL NOT CHANGE And the same thing happens with the setting in Personal Messaging for receiving emails when PMs are sent. I set it to "never", but IT DOES NOT STICK. Again, the notice comes up that it's been changed, but the box mysteriously reverts to "always".... IT WILL NOT CHANGE Now, thanks to another helpful member, I have resolved the first setting by actually unchecking/rechecking the box (so the box was "changed" but checked), and the save actually unchecked the box. Which is completely opposite of how it should work. This solution did not work for the second setting... it's still stuck on "always" instead of "never".

How have some members removed/restricted their email contact option? I've been trying to do that since day one without success. I uncheck the box for allowing others to email me, but it does not stick. I've also tried to set the "email message when PM'd" to "never", and it does not stick. I even tried deleting the email address, but nooooooo, the setting genie did not like that! Still, when I look at the members list, many members do not have the little email icon by their names. How do you do it??? It's been driving me crazy! (-er)

Bug Report - Free respec not awarded at level 40 and 50
Impish Kat replied to Zeshi's topic in Help & Support
I haven't made it that far (yes I'm slow)... But since Jack Wolfe has been removed, there has to be some way they award the respecs... maybe a salvage token? or email? -
Is that Pines Mids? There was a Pines (Mids) that was floated around early on... From what I understand, it's supposed to have all the i25 stuff in it.

The Showdown at the Litterbox: And Away we go
Impish Kat replied to catsi563's topic in General Discussion
It is not "predator talk". It is simply a bit of fun. It's fairly common on certain pet/anime/other forums. For people who don't have pets, or don't frequent pet/anime/other forums, it may be difficult to parse. Isn't it wonderful that we live in a society where you can choose to participate... or NOT. -
I get what you're saying for the first part, but this seems.... unnecessarily rude. I understand that's not the intention, but it just feels weird.

... no 'guest'/temporary passcode that I know of. What I mean is.... You can overwrite it for a temporary "guest code", and then overwrite it again for the "member code".... if it can be done as many times as desired.
-
So... even non-teammates can use that code to get in? E.g., if I give teammates the code to get in and then we disband, then the next day, one of those players can still use the passcode to enter my base? Just tested it on another box and account, and yes indeed, anyone with the passcode can enter at any time. Also, it's not case sensitive in case anyone wants to know. okay... so can it be overwritten? So you could have a "guest passcode" for the length of your missions/trials/tours... a short term code, if you will And then have a "member passcode" for the rest of the time... ???

awesome! FYI, I saw someone post in Discord that you can invite your alts to your sg... I think the command was /altinvite
-
Ah... No, you will not see the menu until you get into the game itself. Look for it in one of the UI boxes (I think it's the health/end stat box). The settings button on the login screen is helpful, but it just scratches the surface to get you some basic settings.
-
That command is just the command version of clicking on the base teleporter. It says it takes 0 arguments, so, it can't be the way a passcode is set. huh... well there goes that thought To set up your SG code, type: /sgpasscode YourCodeWordHere the game will then accept that with the addition of your sg ID# (YourCodeWordHere-###) *anyone* with the passcode can enter your base. Cool! I take it you've used this function? Has anyone else tried it yet?
-
yes... the open sky is very cool for building open rooms inside the base... that is definitely a cool option The other option is to build on top of the base, for a truly "open world" feeling... Two options! More choices! Yaaaaaaayyyy!!! /kermit flail

Menu -> options will bring up a window with about 4 different tabs for customizing your game options/keyboards/windows. The window options tab is the last one to the right. All kinds of goodies to play with in there (though I can't remember if there are sound options). At the bottom of that window are the save and load buttons. Once you have your preferences set, hit the save buttons. On your next toon, hit the load buttons. Keybinds are a little different. For some reason, their save/load buttons are at the top of their tab/window.

You can email it to your global name, so any of your characters can pick it up Just remember to fill in the "subject" line, and put something in the "body" text box (it can literally be just a couple letters/periods)

I seem to recall that hover and fly act kinda funny when you try to put them in one bind. I ended up creating a rotating bind file specifically for flight I'm not as familiar with macros, though. Maybe someone else has an idea. Here are my rotating bind files, in case they might be helpful Flight1.txt numpad0 "powexec_name sprint$$powexec_name hover$$bind_load_file c:\CoH_binds\flight2.txt" uparrow "+forward$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly" leftarrow "+turnleft" rightarrow "+turnright" downarrow "+backward$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly" space "+up" x "+down" Flight2.txt numpad0 "powexec_name sprint$$powexec_name hover$$bind_load_file c:\CoH_binds\flight1.txt" uparrow "+forward" leftarrow "+turnleft" rightarrow "+turnright" downarrow "+backward" space "+up" Whenever I have a character that will be using flight, I /bindloadfile filepathFlight1.txt

Letters and Numbers Not Working in Game
Impish Kat replied to MountainusDewricon's topic in Help & Support
No idea, but I had a huge problem with alt+tab a few days ago. It simply would not tab out. So I did the ol' ctrl+alt+delete to open the taskmanager. When it came back to my desktop, the tab for CoH was a big blank black box of nuthin'. I couldn't even close it with the tab, had to close it through the taskmanager. Then, just to be safe, I rebooted the computer. Everything seemed fine after that, was even able to use alt+tab with success. -
Found the command by using /cmdlist and looking at the resulting chat log in game folder... sg_enter_passcode Enter a supergroup base access passcode. Haven't tried it yet. I would assume that you can reset your passcode by simply entering a new one to overwrite the old... maybe?

Missing the point. We don't want to run around to a bunch of different forums like chickens with their heads cut off. People are already coming HERE. So, why not make it a nice place to stay?

A lot of that already exists on Titan Network: https://www.cohtitan.com/forum/ Quite possibly true, I don't spend a lot of time over at Titan (never really did), but then why have separate forums in the first place? It seems to me that the Homecoming folks are doing things in such a manner as to create their own identity/space. As such, it seems that they might want to make it as complete as possible. Why should the players be sent off to 2 or 3 different forums to get the information they need to play Homecoming content? Discord is, as has been said, good for smaller groups of people. However, it's very difficult to keep track of important info or questions with larger groups. Questions and information get lost, and because they get lost they are left unanswered or ignored. Well organized forums have a sense of stability, and can help take the load off of Discord.
