I’m guessing this has been reported before, but just to get fresh eyes on it because it affects so many of us: 1. Leagues reshuffle teams when you get into an incarnate trial. This happens more when the league is locked, but can happen regardless of league and/or team locking settings. 2. League members will often get kicked when trying to load into an incarnate trial. Again this happens more with league locked, but can happen regardless of settings. There are several other related bugs but I’m hoping they will be linked to these two primary issues.

I would say a rad corruptor or defender. Plenty of debuff for the AVs and GMs, lots of tohit debuff and a heal for gold side, gets most of the good powers early, etc.

I love corruptors. My only tiny issues are with sets like sonic blast where you should practically always go Defender, and the current state of procs being a bit more favorable to Defenders due to build flexibility. Someone had mentioned the possibility of having Scourge start to kick in slightly earlier, which I think would solve those issues. Other than that I just can't get enough of corruptors 😄

Is it possible Panacea in this case is applying to the enemies erroneously, since rttc has things that affect enemies? Would be a hilarious and unfortunate bug. -

Agree with all this. A larger scourge range would solve a lot of the issues I had in mind.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to ensure that powers respect the AT modifiers. That said, this change isn't made in a vacuum, and there are other factors at play which should be considered. For example, right now the proc behavior and the vigilance damage buff when solo/small team has caused defenders to be preferred over corruptors by many. Also there are many powersets where a defender is simply better in every way than the equivalent corruptor. A good example would be something like nature/sonic defender vs. sonic/nature corruptor. Because of the better buff/debuff values on the defender, you actually end up doing more damage on the defender, while also boosting the team by more, which shouldn't be the case. So while I support this AT modifier change in principal, I hope the dev team also gives attention to these factors so that corruptors will still be a solid choice when compared with defender counterparts.

I'm comparing with the 3.75 we often see. And of course I can use other sets. The point is I really want this set to be compelling. I love getting new sets; I want them to be awesome 🙂 -

It's got around 0.3-0.4% more ranged defense than a typical 6th ranged def set bonus, and only does so by taking up an extra set bonus slot. That's definitely not worth having no recharge in my opinion. I would guess most people will just take a set with recharge instead and get their ranged defense elsewhere. That's what I plan to do, since there are much better options available. -

I’m still really not impressed with Artillery. It needs something much more substantial to make up for having no recharge. The other sets are mostly fine. -

Agreed on this being a problem with how much more powerful defense and recharge are than anything else. I actually have no problem with a set like Shrapnel having no recharge at all, as long as it has something very compelling to make up for it. For example, give a little more defense, or give a large chunk of HP. As it stands, it's just not good enough (not trying to be a downer here, I just want these new sets to actually be competitive, otherwise it's wasted effort and everyone will keep slotting Ragnarok and Posi instead). -

I have no argument with that. However, I feel the new sets simply fall below that threshold for ranged characters. In the current system, for better or worse, taking a set with no recharge has to have a huge benefit to be at all worth it. I'll just never take Shrapnel, because it has no recharge and not enough payoff from the other bonuses to make up for that. And Bombardment with only AOE defense has not enough benefit for ranged characters. I could have totally understood reducing the ranged defense it originally had. But changing it to AOE has made it a melee-only thing. Which would be fine, if Shrapnel had some recharge (even just a little). -

I'm not happy about the Bombardment changes. I'll never take it now that it's only AOE defense. It'll be useful on melee characters, but I only play ranged really. And the Shrapnel set doesn't help since it has no recharge. Very disappointed with the changes 😞 -

Love it. Vanguard are a nice challenge.
