I saw Avatar in 3D when it came out and the visuals were impressive. The rest of the movie was pretty bland. Unless this will also be released in 3D then I'm not sure the story is going to sell a sequel.

I'm going to be honest (ok, blunt 😛), The Punisher series was my least favorite of them, I didn't make it past Season 1. While I didn't have anything negative to say about it, it also didn't hold my interest enough to continue with it. I at least finished Iron Fist even though I hated the protagonist for many (many, many) reasons. The Defenders was ok but nothing to write home about. I'm still fairly excited that these series may see a continuation under the umbrella of the World Mouse though, there is definitely an audience out there for all of them.

Daredevil was pretty good but Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are still my favorites of the Netflix series. Hopefully we'll be getting new seasons of them all (ok, maybe not one or two of them) but I have no idea what the buzz is on that. I'd say Cox is definitely returning given his appearance in Spider-man: No Way Home.

Hard shell tacos I just crunch up and make a taco salad out of. Soft tacos are burritos trying to hide in plain sight. If I go to a real Mexican restaurant and not Taco Hell it's fajitas all the way.

NFTs - Not a Fan, Ta

I mean if you want to invest in fossil fuels why not just invest straight into fossil fuels? At least fuel prices would come down. -

I still got all my money in these babies: I'm sure lots of people have already made the comparison but it's very apt. -
I liked Spider-Man: No Way Home but let's be honest, the whole thing could have been avoided if Dr. Strange had just stayed home in bed. His Patrons needed to give him a thorough lashing for that.

Survival of the fittest. That one lost.

It's likely not connected to the larger MCU. They've pretty much milked that for all it's worth so they've moved on to looking for B material. I figure we'll see a bunch of one off series until they find one that draws in the masses again. (I'm not cynical, I've just been around long enough to be skeptical of everything.) There's even talk of a Darkhawk movie.

I got that it was intentional to show that he didn't belong, that he was other. It's still grating. A person will pick up partial accents naturally by living in a place long enough. It felt too overdone.

I enjoyed it. His English accent is really bad though. It made me cringe in the same way as hearing someone pronounce Appalachia as Appalashia.

I've watched all four episodes of this miniseries after seeing it pop up under new shows. It didn't take me long to get invested. I was pleasantly surprised to find it falling into the dystopian future category which is a personal favorite of mine so maybe that's not a surprise. Rosario Dawson is also one of my favorite actresses and I like her in a lot of the roles she's played. The show is based off of the comic series of the same name by Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchelli. Written by Roberto Patino and mostly directed by Ernest Dickinson. Starring Rosario Dawson, Benjamin Bratt and Freddy Miyares. Synopsis: Eight years after The Second American Civil War Alma Ortega (Rosario Dawson) enters the gang controlled Manhattan DMZ in search of her son who she became separated from during the evacuation of NYC. She finds the DMZ to not be the war zone she was told to expect while the search for her son (Freddy Miyares) leads her to surprising events. After watching this one and reading reviews I find myself disagreeing with most of them. I fully enjoyed The DMZ and and recommend it to anyone who likes action dramas. The show is paced well, the scenes are really well done and the characters are well acted all around. The setting of an alternate history America isn't very fleshed out but focuses on the characters and the Manhattan DMZ itself with some basic information being provided in the background. It doesn't feel missing though and instead leaves those other things to be the drivers of the show. I was worried at first about it being a political social commentary on current events but there was none of that to be seen. The story itself is well contained within the four episodes and the finale neither feels forced nor that it goes nowhere. It was clear to me that the ending intended to convey that while this story was at an end there was a new day and a new beginning for the DMZ. At only four episodes it's worth giving a shot to see if it hooks you.

Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Trailer
Frostbiter replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Evil Fitz was definitely a highlight of the show. It really made you respect Fitz's intellect and strategic planning abilities in way that made you appreciate those qualities as his normal self and be glad he's on your side. Back on thread wasn't The Darkhold involved at the end of Wandavision? I also wonder if that's why they chose to release a Morbius movie of all things. Not that he isn't a great character but he doesn't work well without the dark magic side of the Marvel Universe. -
The Guardians of Justice

I'll be giving this one a watch soon. Edit: I watched it and I can't really recommend it. The pacing was bad and the jumping back and forth from different styles was hard to follow at times. The entire show suffered from a lack of focus and felt ADD at a lot of points in the story. -
I didn't drop my subscription to Disney for the shows they make. This show was not made with me in mind as an audience and that's ok with me. I don't need everything to be made with me in mind, I'm not a child. I dropped my subscription because I am not required to pay for any service I don't want and I am not obligated to offer any reasons why, even though if I cared enough I could give more than a few legitimate ones. I don't see this as a place for such discussions, beyond offering my legitimate but limited feedback about something.

I've dropped my subscription to Disney+ and will not be picking it back up again.

I blame Gurgi.

It looks like you can rent it on Amazon Prime. I think Disney just may want to forget it exists after its Box Office losses.

I haven't seen Brightburn since it came out but it's a pretty formulaic horror movie with a super. I enjoyed it but from what others post around here I think I just have a soft spot for B material.

@ThaOGDreamWeaver You fell for my trick and have now seen Kung Fury. Muaha muahahaha. I take no responsability for the Hasslehoff music video though, or for any time hacking that may or may not occur. Just whatever you do, don't watch Iron Sky next.

Mom and Dad Save the World was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Can't go without mentioning some of my martial arts favorites: Kung Fury, Kung Pow! Enter the Fist, and Kung Fu Hustle

You realize this means Blankman makes the list of spoofs.
