  1. I see no one has mentioned the secondary I chose for my necro. THERMAL it really is a great choice for to pair with necro.,, as I'm looking at my pets resistances,..they are zombies [ S86.5/L56.5 F79.9/C78.9 E58.7/NE88.8 P65.3/T65.3 ] pretty good imo. add to that 2 strong debuffs . I would also say the since the shields have huge 4min. duration it leaves you plenty of time to attack, and necro is a set the wants you to attack ALOT.
  2. DOES power build up and or domination work on incarnate powers to increase duration or magnitude?
  3. SO I started a FIRE/ICE, got him to 50 and really enjoying it. I have 90% global recharge 160 with hasten In my build I skipped flashfire, meaning that for the avg mob I use bonfire. That combined with all the slows I can lockdown full mobs, which brings me to my question. Cinders has a recharge of 58 sec. so can rely on that when I need it. If most of my control is soft "HOW IMPORTANT IS PERMADOM"

    PARTIAL CRITS

    A set that has 1 or more of its attacks that have partial crits IE (STONE) maybe others, are the "LESS" on scrappers than brute? If energy melee on could only use 20% of fury there would be outrage and riots. so if the sets only get partial dam. from crits are they "LESS" THOUGHTS

    So i was thinking of starting a new toon with EM, but with the total focus and energy transfer being only partial crit, is this set less on scrapper then a brute. what are the pros and cons,.of scrapper vs brute vs tank? rhoughts
  9. You might look at ICE ARMOR,..its has an aoe slow the stack with spines slows an aoe dam. aura makeing that 2 in total easy to cap def. in S/M-E/NE and near endles END. It was an easy ride on my tank.
  10. Unicron literally only showed 1 ranged attack the EYE BLAST. every thing else he did was all melee from eating planets and moons to attacking CyberTron. IMO tank is probably best AT to use,.as for power sets invulnerability and what ever attack set u want. also keep in mind incarnates might be able to fill in holes.

IF this power being a "PET" is whats causing it to be underwhelming then just make it a LOCATION AOE. do that and lower the recharge rate and cast time. do that and guess what it then becomes use in almost all mobs with little recharge requirements. and with enhanceable debuffs that help more. WHAT ur saying is buffing the lighting strike that can only hit up to 3 enemies at a time is more important the debuffs that can affect up 16 enemies is what u want? a somewhat unpredictable damaging hit vs an 100% uptime debuff.,,,i would chose the debuffs everytime.
  12. Does the redraw with weapons that have redraw take that into account for cast time or dam. i was playing an ice/thorns dom. which got me wondering about redraw. thx for any replies.
  13. If i were going to do a lazy dom. I would go with ICE/PSI.. jump into mob click (ice patch ->frostbite ->psyshock)..in 3 clicks u got aoe confuse,.aor immo. and aoe stun,.. it would also be a fast mover handy for teams. just my thoughts

  15. May I off another alternative. Have a look at the epic Arachnos Soldier,..in the in the initial set u have AOE ( -def,.-res,..immobilize) add that with double leadership for ALOT (+22% ish def,..30%dam,..18%ish TO HIT) then add in the other abilities like Surveillance large single target -res all that and more BEFORE u rven count side pools or PATRON POWER pools for more buffs and debuffs.
  16. alot of COT maps have dam. aura crystals in then,. If ur lucky u may find a dam. and a regen 1 close enough to use both at same time.
  17. You are right,..I wasn't clear enough in my original post, that's on me, but i also was snarky or insulting either. BTW that to ALL who posted I've enjoyed lively debate around the subject. also this post wasn't mad in reference to a fire armor scrapper. I was actually testing out the new stone armor running some +2x8 and maria jenkins arc,. when I kept seeing ALOT or runners I then realized how much my other scrappers get runner to,.and yes I HATE RUNNERS. again thx all for the discussion.
  18. because they are an arc type playable in the game. this is what I'm saying, even brute regen has a taunt aura why not make the same argument for brutes,..we as players have been told since day one of COV release, "BRUTES ARE NOT TANKS" but every scrapper primary has a SINGLE target taunt in confront,..why not make that an aoe taunt but like brutes and tanks?

OK to drop some EDUCATION on the other wise UNEDUCATED,. the fallowing SCRAPPER secondary's already have a taunt aura of 300% BIO ARMOR,..ENERGY AURA,..RADIATION ARMOR,..SHEILD DEFENCE AND WILL POWER yet none of the armors with a damage aoe has taunt nor does regen,..ninjitsu or super reflexes,. or the upcoming stone armor i was only asking for the armors that DONT HAVE a built in taunt,.
  20. CAN we get some taunt on scrappers mainly in aoe powers,.. TANKS have 400% BRUTES have 300% can get scrapper get something like 100% just to keep mobs from running,..
  21. DONT forget bout the new enhancements on test,.. The new combinations are as follows: Endurance Modification/Accuracy Endurance Modification/Recharge Accuracy/Range Damage/Endurance Damage/Recharge Heal/Accuracy Heal/Recharge Slow/Recharge/Endurance Threat/Accuracy/Recharge the END MOD/RECH and the HEAL/RECH.
  22. OK so i spent the past 2 days playing around with this set on a scrapper. Just for clarification i have on TORCH a 50 decked stone tanker built for "NON GRANIT" and a high lvl brute . MY though are - STONE SKIN, very nice change,..balances out the hole set,.. - BRIMESTONE ARMOR,..also a very welocme change,..whats the proc % ?,..varies be cast time i know but it also has to fallow a formula,. This i tested with BOXING and would get from 0-3 procs. AND the damage is what value? - CRYSTAL ARMOR,. another good change buuut,..20% is to low,..its needs 30% falt out,. AT 20% its giveing only .33 per second,..with 6 toggles running BEFORE even looking at leadership or fighting,. endurance consumption is around 1.5 end/sec,. increase to 30% -MINERALS, nice change of +15% recharge -EARTHS EMBRACE, again a welocme change,..PERHAPS you cold help off set the large END consumption by also adding some ENDURANCE,.SAY 10 PTS? JUST A THOUHGT -GEODE,..oh boy where to begin,..first its B I I I I G,...second if its a pet is there a no collision mechanic? I can see people blocking hallways,..doors,..caves with this thing. ONE other finale though,. With so many good picks in this set STONE ARMOR eats ALOT of enhancement slots,..i mean a lot.
  23. HEAVY MALTETS description says nothing about a reduced crit. and every melee set and 1 "HIGH" dam. attack and 1 "SUPERIOR OR EXTREME" dam. attack
  24. Any reason HEAVY MALLET does not have 100% crit dam. in game stats show its like 55 or 60% ??? this is for the scrapper version
  25. SO i am very bad at math,..i currently have this proc. slotted in the epic pool power char, which has a 32 sec recharge. My question is too fold,.. 1 what's the proc. chance at 0% recharge vs. 50% 2 with the long recharge vs. 50% is there a best slotting to use this proc. or is another dam. proc just the better way to go. thx for all inputs.
