  1. Just go to the Pay2Win vendor and get the DEFENSIVE AMPLIFYER,..it cost nothing but influence and give u mag4 protection to ALL cc in game. no powers use or slots spent.,..it also has +5%DEF, +7.5% RES.,...so a pretty good deal.
  2. HERE is a thought,..DROP SS, AID OTHER,. AND AID SELF. THEN go for the FORCE of WILL pool,..get weaken resolve,..mighty leap,..and UNLEASE POTENTIAL....slot UP for REGEN instead of def. IT would be used an an oh shit button for big boost in de.f,..rechovery,.and about 300%regen. YOU stated u had perma hasten,..which would put the recharge of around 2:30 min. maybe less. again just a tgought
  3. AM currently working on my fire/nature troller, and I would say this. For a minimum just 4 slot basilisk gaze, you'll be good to go, However if u got the extra slots to burn u can proc. it out. If I were to add procs it would be the damage ones,..dont see much use in the +2hold proc. with chance to proc. being so low just my 2 cents.
  4. THX for the replies ,..but without an immobilize,. How do u set up containment on an AV or GM. IN a long drawn out fight is it worth tanking the tier 1 single target VS the AOE immobilize. IF so with the 4 second recharge, is it worth slotting proc.'s for damage,... IF its not worth taking,. then what a power pool attack instead. thx
  5. I want to talk about the general usefulness of the tier1 immobilize skill. For the most part almost no one has them in their posted builds, and while I agree that for average play tier 1'S are of LITTLE use. However,..when talking bout AV'S and GM'S immobilize then become ALOT more useful, especially where "PTOD" is concerned. SO if you plan on tackling the big boys do you take the tier 1,..do you PROC. it out? THOUGHTS?

On my troller, im use fire/nature,.With nature also have an AOE HOLD,..i have for that all I need to do in run in to mob pack cast CHAR on boss and most of the pack is on hold,....trust in CC,.it will do TON of work for you,..on most mob pack only boss is of concern,..i only have 4 slotted Basilisk gaze,..im also running at +1x3 at lvl 44 atm. give it a chance and itll surprise u how much control that 1 POWER can bring.,.. IT,S OP AS FUDGE
  7. I see lots of people responding with DARK for some other sets that have A SINGLE heal, some require to hit checks. BUT you asked about self healing,.. That only realy leaves 3 1) EMPATHY,.not my cup of tea but veary strong self heals 2) PAIN DOMINATION,. a very good self heal with a good aoe buff and debuff. 3) NATURE ,.surprisingly nature has 3 very good heals,.2 good self buffs,.and 2 good debuff Of the 3 I like nature the best,..but pain is a fast on the go set with ZERO set up time,..look at these 2
  8. The impervious skin "status resistance + REGENERATION" doesn't stack like it should.,.. The status resistance stacks as normal but the Regeneration does NOT,.. is this normal or bugged??/ thx
  9. IF ur looking at melee for a support I would go with tank. IMO the best support armors are going to be BIO: it has -dam.,,-res,..-regen ICE: has -spd,.-recharge,..-dam. RAD: has -def,..-regen,.and a pbaoe HEAL for team. Then looking at secondary's STONE MELEE had 2 aoe knockdowns one also being a stun ICE had good aoe knockfown and -recharge ALSO OF GOOD SUPPORT is the patron power pool SOUL MASTER it has DARKEST NIGHT a toggle aoe -to hit and -damage just some thoughts
  10. If I can make a suggestion. KEEP IT SIMPLE So something like this RAGE Recharge: 240 seconds Duration: 90 seconds Buff: +10% To Hit, Damage +80% after 90 seconds leave target exhausted -30% endurance,-30% recharge. for 10 seconds

Awesome job and great info, but just a couple questions. the few sets you have tested was with a different defensive set for each offensive set WP/SS,.ICE/STONE,..SS/TW,.SD/RAD doesn't that kind of scue the results by adding a different factor to each test,..after all "not all armor sets are made equally" Secondly u said Super Strength preformed realy will because of the +160% dam. double rage. got me thinking Kinetic Melee should also be a top performer with a perma +125% dam. with no crash.,, also thinking a SD/DM could also get close to around +100% dam. perma. I know It kind of sounds obvious but the set with the highest +dam at a permeant state look like they may take the biggest advantage of procs free dam.
  12. IT WAY PAST TIME TO HAVE COMPLETE SET FROLIFERATIONS FOR ALL MELEE DEFENSIVE SETS.,. TANKS NEED: ENERGY AURA,..REGENERATION BRUTES AND SCRAPPERS NEED: ICE ARMOR AND ICE MELEE. IF THEY DONT ALREADY HAVE IT. CANT REMEMBER STALKERS I ADMIT NEED MORE CONSIDERATION
  13. READING THIS ABOUT SUPER STRENGTH HAS ME A BIT CONFUSED. IF IT IS ONLY THE "SECOND BEST" SET, THEN SEEMS TO ME THAT TW MIGHT BE THE OUTLIGHER SET HERE. A FEW POINTS 1) EVEN DEVS DIDNT BALACE THEN GAME AROUND IO'S 2) NOT EVERYONE WANT TO BUILD A "PROC. MOSNTER".,,I LOVE CHASEING SET BONUSES 3) IF PROCS DID THAT MUCH FOR SS,..WHAT WILL THEY DO FOR TW, THE SET WITH FASTEST ATTACK ACTIONS IN THE GAME, SUB1 MIN? PYLON 4) IT HAS BEEN WELL STATED THAT SS IS JUST MIDDLE OF THE PACK BASED ON ITS NORMAL PREFORMANCE. IF ANYTHING ITS NOT SS ITS THE PROCS THEMSELVES THAT "MAYBE" NEED TO BE LOOKED INTO.
  14. You might consider looking into the "SILVER AGE SINTENALS" D20 system. It has 9 classes and a tone of skills and powers. It works off of the 3.0 D&D RULES, it even offers ways to convert others D20 game creatures like D&D into it...I'm sure u can prob. get copy from amazon.
  15. DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT THE SCALE SLIDER IS NOW GONE. WHENEVER I MAKE A NEW TOON ITS NOT THERE,..THIS HAS TO BE FIXED OR BROUGHT BACK,.. ASAP.

  17. If u want defense in your build I would suggest u make a brute,. storm kick offers +7.5% def to all and regen will have better performance due to higher HP. just a thought.
  18. I made a staff/bio scrapper, only in late teens so not nearly enough experience to say much about how it preforms., but I will say the having +50% dam. is nice. BIO'S offensive stance gives 32%, and STAFF gives another 18%. I could see an IOed out toon with assault getting a good +75% damage even b4 incarnates.
  19. Help me understand MA and the crit chance. The inherent power say all attack have 5% crit on min and 10% on LT'S, a 5% increase. Then there is STORM KICK which has a 10% crit on minions and EAGLE'S CLAW WITH 15% CRIT ON MINIONS, but does the +5% to crit on LT'S from inherent add to these, making them 15% and 20% respectively?
  20. SO CRIPPLING AXE KICK CANT USE A -RES IO,..IT DOES HAVE A -DEF. COMPONET? also forgot to mention that CONTAMINATE DNA being a PBAoE,.. can also take the PVP -RES IO,.it can also take the ATO IO'S,.FYI
  21. I would also suggest a savage melee dark armor as SM has a nice +rec and -end redux in it.
  22. KM is best o a scrapper, not just because scrapper benefit more from + damage,. Their tier 9 power if it crits it resets the cooldown on siphon power,. Making almost perm. AS for concept steal mine I use on live,..KM/EA SCRAPPER,..he literally stole his opponents strength and speed to boost his own. I called him SIPHERION.
  23. isn't it time to finish this, as there are some sets that have yet to be ported over. TANKS for example NEED "ENERGY AURA", what's the hold up here. SCRAPPERS need "energy melee", now this one people with say is op on scrapper b/c of critical,. Yet stalkers have it with the same critical. Then u look at all the ranged AT "defender, blaster, corruptor, all powers are already shared, same with controllers and dominators primary's Don't know if Homecoming or SCoRE can even do this,. But its worth asking.
