  1. Here's the first real Invuln tanker I made. Haven't had any problems with him so far.

One stack of ATO gives capped resists to S/L, 81.27% F/C, 81.12% E/N, and Toxic at 58.02% with Psi sitting at 50.7%. With only 4 foes in range of Invincibility, I hit soft capped Defenses to all but Psi.

My main tank is Bio/Rad, so I can attest that this combo is ridiculously stupid strong.

  3. I've never had any end issues with Staff. It is not the most damaging set, but it IS one of the most fun IMHO. You feel like you're hitting everything around you.

I'd recommend either Bio or Stone, followed by Electric.  Bio will help pump out more damage in Offensive stance.

I went with BP for the theme of unholy fun, COT demons suck as a lore pet if you're thinking that they would fit better as "demons".

Storm elementals are large hideous clouds of annoyance, think the Color out of Space the Nick Cage version not the Lovecraft short story.

Wasn't terribly impressed with Rularru either, typically I go with BP. Some people like Longbow but I'm vehemently against terrorist organizations.

    But...but...but...Storm is PRETTY!

  5. Hey all. Just wondering if there's any other demo /EA mms out there that can offer some insight.  I currently went with Raluuru (sp?) mainly because I never used them before. Wondering if there'd a better Lore pet to take.

I'm kinda leaning towards Storm Elementals for the extra -recovery, plus I just think they look good.

What do you all take? And yes, I know it's all up to me and whatever theme I'm going after, but was just looking at what would best compliment them or plug any holes/make them even more survivable or increase damage.

     Appreciate it!

  6. Defender

       Dark/DP. Just a fun set.

    Blaster

Toss up between Water/TA and DP/Martial.

    MM

Man....I don't think I could narrow it to just one. I really like my Beast/Time, but I also enjoy playing my Mercs/TA (and Mercs/Nature, and Demon/EA)

    Tank

Again...so hard to deecide. My first tank was Bio/Rad, so it'll always hold a special place. All of my Staff tanks are just hella fun (wp/staff, rad/staff, stone/staff).

These are the ATs that I play the most.

  7. Maybe like this?

  9. We have Demon Summoning....why can't we have Angel Summoning? I would need to think about how to suggest it. Obviously, there's different types of Angels (Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Principalities, Powers, Virtues, Archangels, Angels), and different powers that could be utilized.

A part of me thinks that there would be some type of inherent ability... perhaps a small self (or small AoE) heal with each succesful hit, or maybe a -to hit debuff( since the enemy would be "overwhelmed" with the Angels). Maybe the tier 3 pet could be an ArchAngel (which from my quick search-fu states are the most powerful Angels), and it could be more of a "controller"....dishing out holds/fears/ -to hit/ Heals and some damage).

Anyway...the idea of Angel Summoning came to me while I was tinkering with my Demon MM, and thought I'd throw that out there.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

I am always lobbying for some Merc changes so throw in Trick Arrow too.

I would LOVE for Serum to be replaced with Swap Ammo (from Dual Pistols). Imagine being able to have your mercs use 3 different types of ammo!!!

I've also heard someone suggest "Air Strike", as the Meteor power (from Seismic Blast, but obviouslya lot less damage). Call Air Strike, then a few moments later comes down a bomb or 2.

You have 5 Merc MMs wow I do love them too. I have a cold merc. Cannot kill fast but they don't die easily thanks to the cold buffs. Every time I play the other MMs like demons or thugs I notice that Mercs don't kill fast lol. I wish they would fix them.

    I have  a confession I have 17 MMs. I think I might have a problem.

Only problem I see is that you don't have 20 MMs 😜

I've ran Mercs with Nature,  Pain,  FF, EA, Storm, and TA Debating if I wanna try it with Traps and Dark.

  12. With Bio, you can get close to the cap (but you're building strictly for HP and Regen and the stars have to align just right), and even then it's only for a little while.

WP, on the other hand, has been referred to as Regen 2.0. It's fairly easy to get over 3100 HP, and a fairly high base regen. Throw in a saturated RttC, and you're healing faster than you can take damage.  I've had my WP/Staff tank in a Fire Farm, tons of mobs around me. I've gotten up, fixed a snack, smoked, bathroom break, grab a drink and come back 15 minutes later and I'm still at full health and every mob around me has used up their end beating on me.

I love both WP and Bio. I guess it depends on how "active " you wanna be. Want set and forget with absurd regen and soft capped defense to F/C/E/N.E? And some resistance? And a little DDR? Go WP.

Want decent regen with the ability to hit absurd regen #s every so often with a damage toggle, with the same soft capped #s but poor resistance and being more "clicky"? And no DDR? But a nice absorb?Go Bio.

I have a demons/EA and robots/EA at this point and both are really strong. I've been meaning to getting around to another mm at some point so I might give Necro a whirl (as I have 4 IO'd robots, 1 IO'd Demon, and 1 IO'd Thugs.

Probably won't pair my next one with electric affinity, but I swear that set was designed for MM's in supremacy mode.

You should give Beasts a try. They're durable, good damage, and fun. I have a beast/time that's awesome.

Of course, this comes from someone that has like 5 Mercs (just because I like em and think they're cool).

  14. I enjoyed playing Electrical Affinity, especially on my demons MM. It got me wondering,  what else would /EA pair with well?

I think Necro would because of the -To Hit and soft controls.

    Bots mainly for theme?

    Thugs...any synergy?

Beasts...good defense, couple with resists/absorb shield looks decent.

    Mercs...not much synergy?

    Ninja... little defense...no much synergy?

Anyone have any input on how the primaries can benefit the greatest with /EA?

I really like my Demons/EA, and am in the process of trying out Necro. Just wondering what the other gurus out there think would be good pairings.

    Appreciate it.

Since it's not been brought up. I have a 50 Merc/Poison. The debuffs are exquisite. Spitting them is silly. But if can get over that, it's a player.

Eh, just think of it as tobacco spit that you're spitting. Right in their eye!

Decisions, decisions.  I *love* it.  I don't use the multi/alternate builds, but that's another option that I hear people having great success with (especially on the Brute forums).

As you can see, I didn't even take Unstoppable, on this build, and on my other Inv builds I only use it as a mule for Impervium (5 pcs. incl. psi resist).

I should also note that my build is in homage to @Heraclea, god rest their soul, and I built him after Hera announced their illness, during a Tanker Tuesday event.  Found out that it is a ridiculously durable combo.

What happened to Heraclea? I miss something?

  17. Howdy!   Long time player here (Issue2), and am still so excited to have our beloved City back. Thanks for that!

Anyway, in game I hardly ever see any other FF toons (the occasional Bots/FF MM maybe)... Looking at some of the mechanics at work these days, and to try and improve the population of the set, I have a couple of suggestions. Forgive me if they've been submitted already (didn't see any suggestions for FF on the first several pages of the forum).

How about adding a little something extra to the Shields? Perhaps like a certain % of Absorption to Deflection/Insulation Shield, and maybe a little +DDR to Dispersion bubble? As it is now, Force Fielders are viewed as a one trick pony (added Defense). While most people plan out their builds and slot strategically to get soft capped/near soft capped Defenses already, it seems like the Defense FF brings is considered a "waste". Actually had someone tell me that FF was useless since they were already soft capped without my help.

Was just trying to figure out something that might add a little incentive to play FF, and to get a little bit of "respect" for the powerset.

Thanks and keep up the great work!
