It takes a pretty paranoid mi dset to jump to that conclusion, the way I read @Abraxas Comment, and I hope he corrects me if I'm wrong, was he was keeping an eye on their forums to see if they came up with cool stuff, or perhaps features that would tempt him to play there

I mostly solo'd on UO but I played during the PK era and well most people on there you wouldn't want to team with...

I'd say a Blaster solos better than a Scrap, but then I don't like getting my hands dirty :nod:

to be fair to them, when CoH launched the fact people would want to solo on an MMO hadn't occurred to ANYONE, plus they had the disadvantage of Emmet's never wanting to change his mind

Not meaning to be contrary Abraxus but I actually think we are getting info of greater detail and way more often than I'd expect, certainly much faster and freer than any deals of a similar sort I've been involved in. Again if you aren't comfortable with the info they are sharing there's noone holding a gun to your head to stay, but for me, they are telling us everything they can (possibly even too much, but I'm assuming their lawyer is clearing what they do say) The only thing that kinda blindsided me was Tony V, and I actually think I know why that happened, not thrilled about it, but I don't think it was HC's idea

Except Soloing pretty much became the most common way to play MMO's and to their credit the Live Devs recognised that and made CoH one of the most solo-able MMO's out there, it's how it earned its reputation as THE MMO for casual players

Only zones I avoid are the red and yellow ones, nothing worth seeing in either of those places, the AP mission refresh they did with Freedom basically skips the hollows, if you do Habashies arc, at the end of it you are sent to Shauna in KR (and are appropriately levelled) and by the time you finish her and Eagle Eye you are level 12 or thereabouts and heading to Steel or Sky, and thats if you are sane like me and avoid twitshot like the plague she is!! if you don't there's another 2 levels in AP

I know several people who came to homecoming FROM the other servers (primarily toXic er COXG) so at least in some cases your proposition isn't the case (It may be why the overwhelming number are here, first movers always benefit, and the fact Homecoming were smart enough to take Leo's 6 years of work and use that as the foundation puts them miles ahead in both stability and understanding the underlying structure of the game, which frankly rampant changes like the others are making isn't only inviting disaster, it's giving it a robe, a glass of brandy, and asking it to put it's feet up!)

The Dev's on live had an idea for a shape shifting AT called the Primal or Primordial or something, it never made it even to beta because they couldn't figure out how to make it fun, completely unlike Khelds (specifically WS much better than tinkerbell, er PB)

I agree, but still it's less annoying than Halloween event, I HATE the always night thing thats just annoying for no reason
