I was gone for several years, and the Sonic/Bio guide I was following but never got around to slotting (Sovera's Hidden Gem) has a broken link. Did you enjoy it for standing in Melee and using defensive opportunity to just vampirically leech health forever like a tanker? That's kinda how it felt playing the Hidden Gem - was hoping to get advice for slotting at 50 (I'm at 46 now just sitting on respecs) and it sounds like you're having fun, which was why I picked this combo in the first place. It was a blast.

I remember that I started this build shortly after you put out your OP, and then 2020 happened and everything went to hell. I came back recently to see my 45 Sonic/Bio with almost nothing slotted, and watched the numbers not be all that great compared to what they were - but the Defensive Opportunity still treats Howl and Shockwave's hits as separate for the vampiric healing effect, so the core is still there. Old links don't work anymore, and even your final version of the build is too old. Any chance you still have the file lying around so you could do the forum post version? Would be nice to get her the rest of the way up.

Thanks so much for the Latecomer build, it looks really fun and I appreciate the idea. Still, it seems to be quite expensive to make it function smoothly. Do you have a recommendation for a leveling build before we can slot/afford high end level 50s to bring Strike's recharge so far down? It has so much utility, I really enjoy the concept.

Pretend I'm new to the idea of Build Optimization - how does this work by 13? And that sounds like it would be good for smash/lethal farming.
