It's fine, but we take no responsibility for any costume (or potentially character) corruption that may occur as a result. I also believe that it doesn't stick around - I've heard conflicting reports, but it definitely changes back if you edit your costume normally, and it may change when merely zoning.
I tend to disagree. The new blaster secondaries and the specifics for the new Sentinel AT alone are worthy of documenting. Plus P2W contacts, the new costume parts, etc.
These are not what I was discussing. The OP said that they felt like they couldn't trust that PW was correct on pre-existing content. 90-95% of the time, it still is. We're aware that the i25 additions are poorly documented, and we want to fix this, but we're doing 10 other things at any given time.
We're considering some options on this front. For the time being, I'd point out that there aren't a tremendous number of changes between what's documented on Paragon Wiki and what we have here. Preexisting content, as far as I know, is mostly untouched.
I understand that for our French colleagues, the Vigilance people (from whom our dear French GMs have come) are working to restore the French localization. You can find their forum here. If anyone knows of an organized German community (or Spanish or something else, I suppose) please let us know - we're happy to talk!
Those efforts aren't headed by Homecoming but by OuroDev. Head over to https://ourowiki.ouro-comdev.com/
Ouroboros is working primarily on refurbishing i24, while we are continuing to extend i25. Our coders are fully capable of adding ATs and zones, it's just a lot of effort. Powersets are a little trickier because nobody's figured out how to add in animations yet, but I imagine that someone will soon enough.
For the moment, we're just working out the kinks, but we do hope to add in new content Soon™.
4 different mirrors? Looking through that file I see over 8 depending on which files are being downloaded from. cityofheroes.exe has 10 mirrors listed for example. Not to say this isn't a false positive, but with that many mirrors it can also be possible that one of them gets hijacked.
i24 comes from a whole bunch of different mirrors, but the Homecoming files are only sourced from 4 of them. That being said, it's still quite possible that something got hijacked... but other explanations are much more likely, given that this is the only place this issue has been reported.
It's probably dependent on server load, yeah.
From what I've been told, there are two components to LFG - the turnstile, and the statserver. Turnstile is more-or-less fine, but the statserver crashes very frequently. Thus, it's hit or miss. We're looking for a solution, but we've got a lot of other things to deal with, too.
As I understand it, LFG is hit or miss - the turnstile itself functions, but the statserver (which is somehow pretty important to putting you into a league) crashes a lot. So, shrug.
