  1. Honestly, he does have a bit of a point: I prefer being in atlas because of the people. But taking away those amenities would require a redesign of the city zones I think: instead of spreading people out over a zone, the commercial buildings should then be clustered (around a square of sorts)
  2. And call it costume proliferation And it's not just the "out there" thing like a dude in a tutu but more importantly the small things like the cigar or the buzcut for women and the witch hat for guys. Some of the tight with skin options for females would make a grand punker option for guys....
  3. Hahahaha Compulsory beard too
  4. So..... What about the easier solution: let's start with female heads (and hair) on the huge bodies? Adding stuff like skirts can come after And yeah can we get all the make and female options for the other gender please?
  5. @Redlynne I made a grav/storm alt and with kb->kd boy is it fun! Didn't do time because I didn't like the animations TY!
  6. No need to change anything: just go to options/key mapping and look under targeting. Target enemy near is already there
  7. Is it possible to have the list sorted by last played instead of date of creation? I have severe altitis, and sorting through the characters for the one I played yesterday is taking precious seconds away from time ingame 😉

  8. I saw myself in the comic on one as H2rO and in the cave one as Glamoure. It's like spotting celebs, so cool!! Do you want more costumes @brigg?
  9. Can't wait to go home, log in and see if my main Glamoure is there 😁
  10. He's only 11 , so i honestly can judge yet. Especially since water is an aoe set and I only have two. atm. But yeah I was wondering since water seems to need a lot of -recharge and Bio is a set i just don't know at all.
  11. I took bio with water, was that a good or a bad idea?
  12. Especially since psi is a squishy's damage type. Although, is there psi melee these days? There is, isn't there? Anyway I was thinking of blasters, controllers and defenders tbh, maybe give that proc just to them?
  13. I'll send you Glamoure's costume too Thanks for the hard work you put into this!
  14. I've always felt that the -rech associated with psi damage was lacking as a debuf, especially compared to dark's -tohit lookig at it from a protective view, but also sonic's -res (allowing you to kill faster), cold is closest, but it gives you some positional protection too. Ok i;m rambling I guess.... What I'm getting to is that the -recharge isn't such a big protection and was thinking of the following buff: What if psi has a chance to "trigger" the recharge of a power? so a power of a villains might go into recharge without having been used. This would protect (in part) from alpha strikes and make the -rech actually do more than slow the rate of attack. It fits thematically, you scramble the brain of the opponent befuddling him , making them forget to use a power, confuse them into making mistakes etc. Bad idea? Am I wrong feeling that psi needs something? (or am i a genius and you'll be all to happy to tell me so?)
  15. Or would dark servant be the one benefitting from the proc?
  16. I loved that game. Only had the demo from a magazine, but I played it again and again
  17. You just made me pee my pants laughing 😂
  18. Found it!
  19. I remember that: it was called Chuck Rock!! (you didn't expect that to be real didn't ya, look it up) 😂🤣
  20. ...... when you'd download the game for the first time (maybe even in beta) and you'd have to wait for 11 hours for the download to complete, then wait about seven minutes to get to the login screen and about 5 more to go ingame? And then when choosing to change zones you's wait another 3 minutes? I'm amazed how fast it all is now. If the devs have -anything- to do with this, THANKS!!
  21. If a power is chosen by the majority of the playerbase of a game it's not always (generally not) because the power is overpowered, rather that it plugs a whole in an aspect of gameplay while being versatile enough to be used by any play style. There are two answers to this: Nerf it so it isn't useful anymore, a mistake often made (I'm Looking at you M:tG PQ) or in corporate it in the game in such a way that players don't -need- to choose it anymore, but allow for some diversity (for instance in slotting) The OP's suggestion ticks the box of the second option. And while there may be better ways to implement it, I generally like her suggestion (and the second option) better. oh and option three is just do nothing (of course) ,
  22. Isnt this game the whole point of giving us a taste of playing superhero? They come from the comics remember 😉 Now I agree that since it is a game there are balance issues to be taken into account. One of them probably being not to gimp yourself at level 1: take a travelpower and a non combat power and you have to brawl your way to level 2 etc. What this discussion made me realise is that the travel powers are severely underdeveloped. There are quite a few superheroes that have a travel power as a fully fledged combat set. I'll leave superman out of it because... Teleport: Nightcrawler (uses his TP offensively along with melee), Blink (Tp's foes into pieces) Flight: Cannonball (does exactly what the name says and flies into foes) Superspeed: Flash (does everything with speed), Superleap: ehm.... ok i'm stumped If anything i'd be interested to see how to fully fledge out the travel powers into powersets... (next to just pool powers)
  23. Nope, that is called ceterus paribus: where you create equal circumstances to make an actual comparison on a single aspect of a whole. If you want to discredit my argument as a fallacy, fine, that's what discussions are for. We can discuss where you are right or not. Personal attacks by accusing me of intentionally using false arguments to make a point where there is none, is just poor form, if that's the way you want it, fine. I'll just take my toys and go somewhere else.🤷‍♂️ I think Crysta's response qualifies for this situation too.
  24. I get your calculation, fair enough. but to compare with a set with pets the mind-troller shouldn't do anything. (since the fire troller doesn't need to either) I can't comment of speed though, but I do have a specific point to make on that. to get any of the above mentioned XP you need to do a fair amount of damage in a short time to get the 30% done, especially later in the game where bosses are exceptionally hard hitting. and you need to keep targetting stuff that the boss is hitting just to compete for damage. I loved mind, but I would rather have had a pet than the confure powers. ll and dark dont have this problem as much, with their pets, but for mind....confuse is a bad substitute for a pet.
  25. wow..... so your solution is just to tell people to stuff it and play solo? Ok compare these two: a fire controller hits the aoe hold and then pings the boss with an st hold, send in the monkeys and in the mean time keeps the boss occupied by piling the holds. minions are killed by damage you dont pay end for, boss is helpless and ultimo you have no risk and kill the whole group. a mind controller hits the boss twice for confuse, the boss kills the rest of the spawn, and then you whittle down the boss with ST hold and sleep. Equally no risk, and no reward either. Now I do agree that you should be hitting your target yourself to qualify for xp, but shouldnt be in competition with your confused "pets" And the agroless characteristic of confus should be tweaked: it should agro when your confused mob hits another for instance. or it should agro on hit...
