Hello all! I've been running across wiki pages lately (they might have been around for a long time) that use light gold text against a light gray background. It's very difficult to see. There's not enough contrast between the color of the text and the background. Can we change this practice, and may I correct it when I see it? Here's what a page looks like now... Some options could be to italicize the notes like so: or maybe change the text color to a dark blue like so: Looks like the gold color used is part of a template {{gold|}}. To change it to dark blue all that would have to be done is to change the color "gold" to "dark blue". To italicize, I could create a templated named "em" to make it easy to italicize things. So what do you think? UPDATE: the "em" template is now made!

Not that I know of. The command that you'd want is /playerturn, but the animation for Teleport is too long for /playerturn to take effect. You could always bind /playerturn to another key, and press it after every teleport... -
/noParticles is good, but you can also adjust the particle count in Options by degrees. Also you might play around with the Bloom Amount setting in Options--> Graphics and Audio tab--> Advanced Graphics Settings. You can right-click on the power’s buff icon under the Health bar and cancel the buff/power.

It happens a lot. On my initial survey and testing, I come up with zeros. Then, I scratch my head and think, "It could be anything!" Then I ask at the forums... and wait. But it's IMPATIENCE that drives me to continue to look around at random things until I land on something that might be a clue. In this case, it was the file names of some images at the wiki... crazily enough. LOL But of course! Sharing knowledge is what I'm all about. And thanks. 🙂

Does anyone know the internal names for the 4 alignment icons: hero, vigilante, rogue, and villain? So we can use them in macros?

I really like the icons you put in your popmenu! They're nice. The idea for the popmenu is also nice. It will save a lot of space! A couple thoughts... Some accolade powers have different internal names depending on if they're from the villain side or the hero side. For example, the Vanguard Medal has an equivalent by a different name, Megalomaniac, and its internal name is "temporary_powers.accolades.megalomaniac". Some players might have Megalomaniac and some might have the Vanguard Medal power. Are you planning to have your popmenu use both the hero and villain versions? Nevermind. For both the hero and villain equivalents to appear, you just have to change your alignment back and forth, then they both pop up in the power list. Thanks for the answers guys. I vaguely remember one player doing something in game, and for the life of me I can't remember was it was. So I know there's yet another way to do it in game. Frustrating.

If we were talking to a computer illiterate person who knows nothing about file paths... what would be some ways for them to find out? I know 2, but am wondering if there is another way to do it from in game? Here's the ones I know... In the Homecoming Launcher, click Settings and the install directory will be shown right there in that first page. In game, type /bindloadfile \ in the chat line and look at the generated error. It tells you the location of the default or working folder C:\games\homecoming\settings\live\ but it also shows you the installation directory C:\games\homecoming\ if you follow the path to the left. Is there another way, or a better way to find out the install directory while in game?

Yes, of course I agree. You know now that I think about it… One place homecoming might be able to get some volunteer artists is by advertising with digital art schools to give students some work experience on using 3-D modeling and all the other art related stuff that the game needs. Many young artists are very talented. Maybe offer internships?

I’ve never read the contract homecoming has with NCsoft, so it’s kind of hard to say one way or another. Many Non-profits are allowed to hire and pay their people money. But Homecoming? I’d guess probably not but who knows? I do know that there are people that are “agents” or members designated officially as part of the organization. So in a way, they have employees but they’re volunteers. That said, I said nothing about hiring employees and compensating them with money. I guess I could be more specific to rule out different Interpretations and simply say “Homecoming needs more volunteer artists More than anything els.”

Something else to consider… Cable Internet is SHARED among the people in your community. That means the limited bandwidth gats smaller and smaller with each person transferring data through it. It might be that several people in your neighborhood are uploading a lot of large files at the same time you’re accessing it. It might be they’re doing it all the time. maybe. However, if your tech knows there is a technical solution, then maybe he’s right? Maybe. But yeah, if multiple people are experiencing it , the problem is on the company’s end. They probably should upgrade their hub/node. -
More than anything, I think Homecoming needs more 3D digital artists to design special effects for powers, costumes, buildings, etc. Without a large team of designers, what you can do is severely limited and you're forced to use the same effects and items that you currently have. That said, I loved the storm power set. It was innovative and worked by having one power affect others and visa versa. Not a lot of extra special effects that we haven't seen, but the way the powers worked was different from previous power sets.

Hi, just a quick bug report... When Shadow Fall is on, no Flyposes will work (emote flypose2) until Shadow Fall is turned off and turned on again. Other powers prevent flyposes from working too, since this has happened on other characters but I only just now figured out it was because of another power blocking the animations. I'll keep my eye open for other powers that interfere.
