Just played some today. The GIANT RED POP UP MESSAGE is already super annoying. Like do I really need to know only first target affected, twice? Seems like it's always twice. And do other players need to see it? Just a nuisance really. Set plays fun though.

Maybe just letting others know they can save themselves three powers.

I doubt you need rune of protection at all. I’ve never taken on a non squishy, much less a tank. I bet the incarnate will be plenty of o shit button and barrier. Frees up 3 powers too.

Time Defender to help prop up all the new tanks.

And is the other MM ATO set that bad? I don't see it at all.

Little necro, but any updates on this? I started one today and not familiar with MMs at all. So will likely steal the whole build.

I'd love for the scrap drain to be pbaoe instead of a cone.

I might try regen/kin. The minus damage is less for regen to heal from. And I have yet to successfully make a kin melee toon I liked. I usually don’t, but made a chick toon. I figured if a half naked chick doing animations didn’t help nothing would. The toon is dead now though.

I’d give scraps the pbaoe and not cone foe the drain psyche. A cone is generally annoying and avoided on scrappers.

I can’t see a world where SS isn’t the best. All the knockdown. Both want crazy high recharge. Footstomp proccing the damn ff proc. It seems like the next easy super new meta build. An easy choice and will be the most popular choice. Makes it boring for me. And I already have an SS tank so probably wouldn’t make another myself. I’ll try regen and something I’m sure. I’m more pumped about trying brute with new psionic. Maybe scrap if they don’t make the one power a cone.

I ended up with a fire/dark defender that named him blood mist. Red and black.

Once 50 offensive 99% of the time. Leveling up efficient is good though if teaming usually don’t need any of them. But yeah using carapace before you need it is ideal. Other two as needed. I almost ditched mine a lot leveling up cause of end issues and being fairly squishy. But it’s one of my favorites now and have a lot of scrappers. It’s a fun combo.

Forms have a 2.5 second cold down. Problem solved. Long enough to cast any self buffs you were gonna do. And long enough to keep glitch mode players from spamming huge sounds and visuals non stop

Yeah, they don't fire often enough and I don't have spiritual yet either so will probably scrap them. Or maybe rework without spiritual but it seems good. Maybe the one with -to hit and damage.

Yeah, he is a vampire so thought heal chance might be fitting. I've never really tried them before.

Not the same but ninja secondary has blade options and can use energy blades.

Yeah I may again. I didn’t like it before when I tried it on tank. I have a bio/dark tank I like. Skipped the end power though as it’s not needed. He is 50 and done. I think dark might just be better on a tank with easier ability to get high reaists. You have to have capped resist. Heal has to be up often. Have to have some slow resists from sets. Seems like a lot. Have to get kb protection. Either skip clock of fear or crank up acc. one day the concept will click and I’ll deal it. But lightning hasn’t struck yet. I did make a vamp toon tonight. Storm/dark corr. Covered head to do in full white to reflect the sun. Works in my head anyway. Dracula makes some pretty stormy weather on the book and some of the movies. Unsure how I’ll rationalize dark servant. Maybe a vampire servant in most form? I’ll get there I guess.

I've already scrapped him. Made it to 30s, but I just don't like DA. Unsure why I keep trying.

Yeah, end is f'n horrible so far. Just hit 32. Here is a rough first pass. Between Cardiac, panacea, and two perf shifters I would hope its good once 50. We shall see. Probably too many ff+recharge. Anybody got a good one already? Trying to figure out how many times I need the FF+recharge to get hasten perma. Seems like hasten is almost required for using dark regen as needed. Maybe not.
