One runner confront is ideal for. Also having one ranged attack helps. A lot of armors have taunt auras as well not all do though.
confront comes in super hand on ITFs when there isn’t a tank or brute. Or there is a tank or brute but they don’t take taunt themselves and just play like a scrap the whole time.
confront is great. I don’t have it on all my scrappers. But it’s good when you have more powers than slots.
I would take the heal/debuff for sure. No expert on marine. Mine is vet 3. Just respec'd to this. I didn't go all proccy but went for high defense and resistance as well as perma power of the depths, or really close to it.
Captain Thrax - Defender (Marine Affinity - Psychic Blast).mbd
I lied. It’s ec-sk-cs-sk
doesnt have any recharge in ec so the ato procs as much as it literally possibly can.
Perma hasten build also ensures focus chi is up more often as well.
Cool man. I personally hate CAK which is why I don’t take it. I like ec-sk-cs which stacks stuns and both crit after ec which I slot so it’s almost guaranteed to prof the scrap ato.
Db/sr is a ton of fun. I have a claws/sr as well but I prefer claws/rad. I wouldn’t touch regen. I always go assault hybrid on scraps. Rebirth comes in handy but you’ll use it to heal teammates more than yourself, which is fine.
what you recommend? I’ve tried it on all but a sentinel. Might try it next. I love the snipe’s animation. Which sent still had just the fast cast only.
Seems super fun. Can’t wait. Nature is my only defender and I love it. Seems like a somewhat similar set.
How can one have a trident with this on a defender? Temp power maybe?
What’s the actual rewards for doing this? A few badges? Seems like Diablo 3 stuff but without the random gear drops. It sound really cool. I’m just wondering the point of doing it twice? Some stuff seems like a toon can only do it once.
I would take it as a challenge now. DA helps with defense. Could easily get aid self which would help with soloing I guess. I almost never solo and find it boring. But katana has some places for the -resist procs too which would help with avs.
