Every MMO has flippers and resellers. Its happening RIGHT NOW for hamis and other stuff we cant get with merits, cant be helped. But this is also counter acted by the seeding of salvage most of the time, which the vendors will replicate. Again, every MMO does this. From Everquest to whatever amazon just did. End game players earn more. Dividing currencies divides the game. I think you have forgotten how fast it is level up. even if you ran reward merit only content you would be 50 before getting 1200 merits (two ato sets). I might even stretch the fact that if someone did a debt only challenge run what I said would still be true -

when 99% of the players want to skip the game its time to take a step back and question what we are really doing Strikeout because it missed the point hard -
And start using INF for everything. Those two items are driving a wedge in the player base. No one wants to plow through task forces anymore because there is no reason to, and there is no penalty for just grabbing the carrot on the stick and switching alts to do it again. No one wants to leave AE because it is the best form of getting exp. So, just like with seeding the market, there is an artificial cap on the price of some things. Rework how Merit Vendors work and allow players to buy recipes and enhancements for INF. Same thing with the costumes. Now, incase you didnt slam down your pringles can of redbull and start heaving at this point I suggest the following changes: Lower AE INF gain down to 10-25% of regular Increase INF gain in the following: Task forces, lots of variants here. ITF might be the king of INF farming, might not, who knows this wont get past the idea stage Story arcs, even the old devs complained about wanting players to do story arcs Minor boost to Paper/Radio and big boost to Mayhem and Safeguard missions, actually now that i typed this one out people will speed papers/radios to get to mayhems/safeguards shipraids, itrials, the list can go on but i got bored typing

For the pet powers themselves, it reduces the end they spend on attacks I am not noticing any end reduction in the upgrades for pet spending

Lemme put my speed reading course (singular) into practice. So, if one takes Leaping>Combat Jumping, it will also have a Super Jump and Double Jump for free? But I still have to select Jump Attack/Spring Attack at a later time? I can get behind something like this because builds are just so damn tight now -

Does it HAVE to be a Defender? With the recent patch on power level selection you can get the good empath stuff at a lower level as a corr and still have solid damage. Rock/Emp Water/Emp The motherearth puns are there but the rest is on you now

Went through that on my fire/trick arrow corr There was a grav dom who popped the computers while the ambush was coming. wormholed AV group onto the ambush group in that little choke point where my glue, oil, disruption and damn that was fun -
I think Kismet needs to be in an active power, cant use it like LOTG7.5. its been awhile since i used it but i think its only active when PFF is active

Equip - end redux. Serum - 3 rech Tactical - end redux burst/slug 5/6 any ranged damage set. while i use Decimation they are in really high demand right now m30 i use 5/6 bombardment and KB2KD Repulsion Field i dont even take Repulsion Bolt I also skipped because even tho -15% resist sounds nice, its single target and the knockback is bleh Force Bomb I also skipped, 30 sec recharge + knockback scatter effect was too much slotting for me Damping Bubble was almost a skippable for me, maybe its because im not smart, maybe its because its worded weird, maybe because in the info screen it has 1.00x accuracy and something or another. so i slapped a LOTG7.5% in it and only use it whenever something high defense comes along in a future respec i may slap some defense in Tactical Upgrade

Add some DoT damage to Ice Patches. Stalker, tank, blaster, etc. And I am not sure on this but allow it to build Assassin Focus stacks if it does not. Blaster>Ice Manipulation>Shiver also get a Moderate DoT? Might also want to retool the numbers so its melee range/mid range only if you do add damage to it

Blaster > Ice Manipulation > Freezing Touch and Frozen Aura The power descriptions on the respec/power select screen still say they do little or no significant damage, when they are now High and Moderate.

New name: Telekinetic Crush When using on a single target it draws the 5 nearest enemies onto the target. All targets suffer Smashing/Psionic damage, main target takes extra smashing damage up to 5 times, adjust for Containment Mag2 hold effect on all effected Using Telekinetic Vortex empowers your Dominate to deal extra psionic damage to the main target (think veat minicrits or fiery embrace) and a splashing mag1 hold effect to 5 extra targets

holy crap did like 40 or so respecs so far since tuesday. blasters and such were a breeze since it was shuffling around a power or a few slots or just fine tuning/bringing up to speed. but now im getting to the brutes and scrappers who i have not touched in years. my willpowers with the +regen ios slotted and slotting physical perfection, fast healing and health for healing

I dont see where the attacks are You have nothing to stack petrifying gaze with Howling twilight is a one slot rech wonder, level 47 or 49 you dont need that +regen in health darkest night can get by with 3 enzyme hamis dark pit is a 2 slot rech wonder And unpopular opinion, dark servant is also a one slot wonder. I just dont use it outside of AV fights. too slow and its biggest asset is its -tohit aura - 1 lysome hami slotting end reduction into pets helps their end problems, and also their upgrades. this is easily tested by slotting it, checking info, and unslotting it and checking info again. tactics is not needed, i do not know who started this crap but your [supremacy] inherent and slotting for acc is way more than enough. and no matter how much +tohit you give them your pets will not break free of the +5 rule. this can be tested on test with a level 1 fighting like level 20s with two emp defs with power buildup forts with membranes. your everything else is underslotted to hell. If you have the cash its time to embrace Hamidon enhancements into every single one of your masterminds lives. You can also use Ribos in Tough/Epic pool resist AND shadow fall. 3 ribos in shadow fall + 2 def/1 lotg7.5 means you get more out of that power than most do I skipped Command of the Mastermind: AoE Def Drones: Acc/dmg hami x2 // Blood Mandate: Acc/dmg/end // 3 pet auras - still have end issues in long fights but their recharge is quick and mules are more important Prot Bots: acc/dmg hami x2 // Blood Mandate: Acc/dmg/end // 2 def/end/tohit hamis // 1 lotg7.5 Assault Bot: acc/dmg hami x2 // Mark of Supremacy: Acc/dmg/end + MoS: End/+resist aura // 1 pet aura // chance for buildup -
maybe soloing i can see it being useful but in groups there is so little setup time or need since things die so quick and since most immobilize effects are DoT theres no time to tick and when considering other peoples cones or pbaoes rooting a group right off the bat is detrimental. But maybe instead of changing the leveling system again I can also go for single target controller/dominator immobilize effects getting the Midnight Grasp treatment with upfront damage and minor DoT. That would go well with the recent patch + the fact most control sets has an immobilize at t1 or t3. mind/grav aside
