  1. I like the idea of making the pseudopets at least. What if they were just buffed in their values to equal what a damage proc could have done?
  2. Something like this could be a jumping off point Faction is weighted: All > 2 > 1, possibly blue>red>gold as well... Area: All > multiple zones > 1 zone > mission arc
  3. Personally, I'd rather have the reactionary anti-mez when hit than having to slot in in the t1 or t2 Or, lean into it and give you a free build up effect when mezzed.
  4. That's a actually one of the same sources I used! 🙂 I think the shares is our best bet (and can be copy pasted into my enemy resistances guide too when I go back over it...) Im hesistant on getting as granular as counting every zone something appears in as a share, so maybe just having "appears in one location" vs "found in multiple areas" split could suffice? This really only applies to Blueside too, as redside amd goldside have fewer zones but they generally have more content per zone.
  5. I like that idea @Redlynne! Perhaps even combining shares if a group spans multiple brackets (ie, Arachnos being 1-50+ would net them a massive weight). @Bopper, I think the lvl brackets may be the best bet, along side a way to show what content they are found in (such as a specific side, or even a specific zone within a side).
  6. Those should all be included imo, and probably ranked as such (blueside > redside > goldside) or at least have marks showing what groups are exclusives. The lvl range I think would carry a bit more weight for ranking as say... hellions probably dont affect the meta much only capping at like lvl 15, while the new banished pantheon enemies being a lvl 50 group in a major arc will be tested more often in a way where you'd care about the damage types?
  7. @Bopper, @Caulderone Do you think you could assist me with weighing the enemy groups? A flaw I noticed is that this is all assuming you were to just have an RNG cannon fire enemies at you from all groups, with no consideration towards how common certain groups are. For example: Tier 1 - Hydra are found really just in Perez Park, or even just a handful of specific missions. This makes the group very uncommon Tier 2 - Slag Golems, similarly to Hydra are found in 1 zone but it is a "main zone" (Sharkhead) and can be found in several story arcs Tier 3 - Praetorian Police are very common, but only to lvl 1-20 Goldsiders / some specific Trials. This tier is tricky as it is outside the "Found everywhere" rank, but still very common depending on your location and level range Tier 4 - Arachnos is found literally everywhere Or something like that... if it makes sense? I'm hoping by weighing (and consolidating some mirrored groups) to get a more accurate representation of what we really see in-game.
  8. @JayboH / @Frostweaver I'll be editing this soon with some new info 🙂
  9. Correct, since the click is a Mag 3 hold all at once instead of incrementing chances to hold
  10. It is much, much different on /Rad blasters. Its an actually good AoE click-hold.
  11. I do think that the way the meta is set up, certain playstyles and even ATs can be at a disadvantage.... but at the same time that same meta would be made even wonkier if they were to just receive straight buffs. What if there were a "Super Heroic/Viallainous" difficulty mode that made encounters tougher per lvl difference lets say (Purple Patch scaling x1.05 or such), but it also came with some bonuses to your characters as well? For example, in the Super Heroic setting, a +3 enemy gains +Regen, +Defense, +Damage, and +ToHit (not acc) along with say, 1 extra power or something. This makes them inherently more dangerous and a bit tougher to take down. But in the same setting, Controllers and Dominators now gain -Res/-Def on all their control abilities that can counter these traits to make taking the enemies down easier (boosts offense!) while shutting down their own offense (team defense!). Buff powersets would also see more use as the Soft Cap effectively changes / other boosts are more valuable. Thoughts?
  12. I feel you, but at the same time nothing else really popped into my head to describe like.... Ice/Ice and Energy/Energy as pairings other than "Thematic"! 😄
  13. Hey everyone! Just an open discussion as to who you all think the strongest thematic pairing is with each AT, or just in general? For example, we all know a fire/fire/fire blaster is very potent, or a mind/psy dom. But what other thematic pairings do you feel like they designed to be together? Which do you feel were likewise disappointing when put together?
  14. The German Sheperd already exists in games put it over a Howler wolf from beast 😄
  15. To avoid copyright claims
  16. Can you define early levels? Like, what level would you cutoff the "Early" point from?
  17. Other set bonuses also provide it too, why not make it more unique?
  18. Spine Burst is as slow if not slower than most TW attacks without momentum, and Quills is even less danagebthan Defebsuve Sweep if you're just tossing it out constantly. Sure, you only have 2 AoEs for a little while, but those levels fly by and the AoEs you do have both animate in 1 second with 120* arcs.
  19. I mean.... do people use jump kick? Especially over melee powers they would normally pick up, or on a ranged character you either got high damage blasts / amazing blaps, or a poo melee modifier anyways.
  20. Tbh, given the pool attacks are generally seen as... well poor, it would have been nice for the attacks to give synergies instead. Like if you took the fighting pool you could choose "Boxing Training", which could imbue your melee attacks with a buff. "Martial Training" would be Kick, and have a different buff, with both synergizing.
  21. Pool Power attacks / powers that require the synergy of 3 powers working together should 100% be competitive with primary and secondary powers. You are investing 3 picks to get them, where normally you would just grab 1-2 powers that aren't attacks in the set anyways. They should feel *worth* it
  22. Huge was intended to be a 3rd option for the muscle gender (But for real, the more options the better!)
