  1. Thanks again. :-)
  2. Thanks for the advice. Would this be better? System Memory (RAM) 8 gigabytes Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Processor Speed (Base) 2.1 gigahertz Processor Model AMD 2nd Generation Ryzen 5
  3. I use a gaming desktop, but a friend is looking to buy a laptop for CoH: System Memory (RAM) 8 gigabytes Graphics Intel UHD Graphics 620 Processor Speed (Base) 1.6 gigahertz Processor Model Intel 8th Generation Core i5 Processor Model Number i5-8265U
  4. Well if you click on him you'll see he's a candy keeper with a full candy cane shop interface, so I guess we won't have to go to the Ski Lodge to trade in that winter salvage?
  5. Sounds like you folks are trying to find the right balance. Thank you. (It will be good to see daylight again.)
  6. Ah, that explains my stone cages slide shows. Thanks for the fix!!
  7. 1) The only way I've found (aside from the announcement you get when you level) is to go to Menu > Personal Info. 2) Powers > Incarnate Abilities > Convert tab (also note the comments above about scrolling all the way down on the Alpha power recipes)
  8. Thank you for hinting and not just telling! I really enjoyed the concept of this story.
  9. Won't be able to make it down from Beyond the Wall, but hope you all have a good time. When I first read the location I thought it said Kallisti Wharf!
  10. In the Halloween vendor window under Temp Powers, any costumes you've already acquired display the message 'PWTIFailOwned' (which I assume is a variable name) instead of text such as 'You already own this power.'
  11. I have tested this twice now. Trading in salvage for a new costume doesn't increment the badge counter. While you can't acquire multiple copies of a temp power, when it comes to counting costume drops from doors (required for the badges), it's possible to get the same random drop you received before. In this case you won't see anything new in your trays, but the badge counter for costumes will increment. It has been this way since the old days.
  12. Hope this isn't a spoiler for anyone -- adding this to Guardian's note, in case a text description is helpful.
  13. It definitely made me laugh standing there and looking down wondering how that meteor could have landed there without doing any serious damage. And wondering why this never occurred to me years ago!
  14. Perhaps the best solution would be to let us place and size the extra tray that would then disappear until needed?
  15. I found it: right in front of the corner door to the burger joint. BTW, devs: I love the idea behind the Mostly Harmless badge!
  16. I haven't tried this power set yet, but if it creates an extra tray on top of Tray 3 like the meteor scanner in Bloody Bay or the extra power in First Ward or Night Ward (I can't remember), can we get a way to disable all these automatic new trays please? For me, it causes the Insp window to overwrite other UI elements I have positioned just above.
  17. With my blaster, there was plenty of doubt, especially when the boss did that major heal in the middle of the fight. I'm thinking this deserves a bit of that orange text warning solo players of an EB to come.
  18. Just finished the rogue mission. I liked this one better, because the content seemed more varied, though the difficulty ramps up suddenly at the end with no warning. One small complaint: unlike the vigilante mission, which takes place in a zone where the mobs are grey to you, the rogue mission is located in an area with enemies ranging all the way up to orange. Given the significant amount of travel between missions, this raises the overall difficulty a bit.
  19. Just finished the vigilante mission. (I can't type that word without hearing Posi's odd pronunciation!) I chose the option that Shauna didn't like but didn't get a Misson Failed message. As for feedback, I liked the story and the unexpected cutscene, though not so much a fan of the myriad ambushes. I'd say it fits well with the feel of the improved content we were starting to get just before shutdown. If this is the sort of thing we have to look fwd to with Homecoming, then the future looks bright.
  20. Note: if you get temp costume powers by trading in the salvage, this doesn't count towards the costume acquisition badges. Looks like the badges count only temp power drops from doors. I assume this is WAI.
  21. I plan to try both, but even before I do I want to praise you folks for taking the gutsy move to create content that's not generic all-alignment content. Personally, I want more alignment-specific content myself. Would be really interested to see a single story that had missions from all 4 viewpoints.
  22. Aye that's what I would expect, but I'll give it a try just in case.
  23. Thanks for running this at a time when those of us in Europe aren't asleep. Was nice to be able to contribute.
