  1. What's another character, @ImpousVileTerror ? :D
  2. FWIW, the numbers in Mids with my MA/EA Scrapper is right on the money.
  3. All of my characters are exclusively the Rogue alignment and I have never been kicked from a team when going to Ouro or using a base when doing or even leading a blue side Task Force or Trial.
  4. All characters already have access to all the zones. Really, unless you are playing a Dominator that needs the Villain alignment power, there is no reason to be any alignment other than Rogue or Vigilante. The problem is that a lot of people really don’t want access to all of the zones. Almost every single time I recruit for a SF, I get someone sending me a tell along the lines of “I am in! How do I get to Cap au Diable/Sharkhead Isle/Grandville?” I will reply back, “Great! Go to Pocket D and find a seagull on top of a box truck on the red side. Ask him to make you a Vigilante. Once done, here’s how you get to...” Almost invariably, I will either never hear back from the person, or get a tell back along the lines of, “My SG is calling. Sorry.” 😆
  5. If Mercy Island is turned into a red side Atlas Park, then I request an alternate red side starting zone ala the old Galaxy City. (Note that I do not expect either to happen, especially due to lack of resources). The destruction of Galaxy City pretty much guaranteed that I will never play blue side again. Turning Mercy Island into an Atlas Park clone with no alternative starting zone would most likely turn me off from the game altogether.
  6. Heh. That just shows how people are different. To me, it’s a bonus that red side does not have a social hub zone. If it did, I would probably avoid that zone like the plague, like I do Atlas Park. IMO, Kallisti Wharf should be the social hub zone anyway as it was clearly designed to be one and is co-op.
  7. Yeah. That's the main issue with red side, IMO. The other things that others complain about (the lack of red side zones, how gritty the red side zones are, how difficult red side is compared to blue side), I like those things. :P
  8. Yep. I am amused that most people who repeatedly claim that the game is too easy repeatedly run Council radio missions. But play red side, or God forbid gold side? *Balk.* *Go back to running Council radio missions.*
  9. Here's the honest truth. You're not going to vastly increase red side population. The people that either mostly or entirely play red side now (like me), play it because we like it the way it is. Any big changes (like zone revamps, or adding additional zones), are more than likely just going to honk us off on the hopes of attracting more blue side players to come check it out. Most likely, they will... then flee back to the comfort of blue side in a month or two, just leaving the formerly happy red side players honked off. Letting villains start off blue side would just dilute red side more than it is already. Even then, some of us current villains actively dislike blue side and try to avoid some of its zones (looking at you Atlas), as much as humanly possible.
  10. Sadly, you can not form co-op DFB teams in Pocket D. I tried. It didn't work.
  11. All red side needs, IMO, is a few more Strike Forces. Add one at level eight - sixteen like Positron. Add one at level 30 - 34 like Manticore. Add one at level 40 - 45 like the Shadow Shard Task Forces. Boom. Done. The only blue side zones that I like are Faultline, Striga Isle, and Croatoa. I vastly prefer red side to blue side, and haven't played blue side since July of last year when I discovered that SGs are co-op now. As for more red side zones... no thank you. One of the reasons that I do vastly prefer red side is the fact that it has far fewer zones than blue side. No "Go beat up 20 Hellions in Perez Park for me, then you have to come meet me all the way at the NE end of Skyway" missions.
  12. On a personal note, I would not get too attached to procs. Captain Powerhouse has stated on multiple occasions that procs are too strong and he intends to bring them to heel at some point in the future. So, if you don't want to be disappointed, I'd build without relying on them strongly.
  13. The Homecoming developers have stated that the technology they used to fix the bug did not exist back in 2012 (eight years ago), so Paragon Studios couldn't have fixed it.
  14. Beam Rifle does great single target damage, and does -resistance and -regen. It's not that great with AoE damage. It specializes in destroying AVs and Giant Monsters, which it does very well. Sonic Attack is not about you doing damage (it's not that great with single target damage, and it's at the bottom of the barrel for AoE damage), it's about letting your teammates do more damage. If you exclusively team, it's a very good option. If you plan to solo a bit, look elsewhere. Dual Pistols with Incendiary rounds is one of the higher damage sets for both single target and AoE. You can also use Chemical rounds for -dmg debuffs if your team is low on debuffs. It's very versatile.

    Best Brute

EA is great, and has been great since Issue 21. The only issue it has is that gaping Psionic damage hole. It definitely comes into play in Praetoria and Incarnate content. But everything has a hole, and a great many toons have trouble handling Praetoria, so that's definitely nothing to hold against it.
  16. I already updated the Villain Merit Rewards page a couple of days ago.
  17. Yeah. By Shazam, I mean the original Captain Marvel who was renamed to Shazam nine years ago.

    Shazam!

So, what would Shazam! be? Elec/Elec Brute, SS/Elec Brute, Elec/Elec Corruptor?
  19. Bueller?
  20. Just a reminder that the weekly scheduled MSR trial will launch from Pocket D in ten hours from now, y'all. You must be level 35+ and have the Member of Vanguard badge to participate. There will be a 100 million INF kill shot prize for the drop ship! I hope to see y'all there.
  21. It's on the new wiki here.
  22. Sorry. Instead of just saying, "No," I (and some other Gen Xers), sometimes say, "Negative, Ghost Rider." It's a quote from the popular American 1986 film Top Gun. @SwitchFade was just completing the quote. If you can, check this out.
  23. Uh... The patron power pools are the bonus reward. They require EB fights, not AV, and can be soloed. And blue side trials do enter the WST rotation. The Abandoned Sewer Trial and Eden Trial were both recently WSTs.
  24. Oh, I agree. Just that it's been thirteen months now with no fix in sight, so I figured some sort of guide would be helpful until it is fixed.
