  1. So if Ignite is higher damage to compensate for Aim, Why does it need the fear? The fear is really off putting tbh. Especially when it comes time for using it as a ST attack for soloing GM's/AV's/EB's they run around like track stars.
  2. Is there a point to going to my thread and discussing changes? Are you willing to change beanbag to something else like a follow up power? A lot of people are completely disenfranchised right now because it kinda feels like you aren't even willing to hear feedback or try other solutions. I'm not trying to give you a hard time here I'm just being honest with you. It really does feel like the overwhelming majority of people who dislike the changes aren't being heard in favor of a very small mysteriously absent portion of players. If you're still open to ideas and willing to make changes you should probably say so, because otherwise everyone is wasting their time and is correct in it's over. If it's over then It's over, just be honest about it being over.
  3. Can we get the storm snipe animation as an alternative anim for elec blast too? 😞 please? its so cool...
  4. Rain of Arrows does more damage, recharges only 5 seconds slower and hits 6 more people. So i guess just make it 5 seconds longer?
  5. Stop deleting feedback. I understand you deleting inflammatory posts that aren't contributing anything, but you've deleted valid feedback comments for AR. That is not okay.
  6. Beanbag becoming follow up that stuns would also be fine. This works with the recharge difference between aim/beanbag too.
  7. Is it specifically because It's a 10 second stun and that might be overpowered in the first 10 levels? because that's a pretty bad reason to handicap an entire set. Just lower the damage of slug and add the stun. It'll still end up doing more damage overall becxause of aim. I'm not trying to give you a hard time here, I want to understand the decision because if the changes go out as is, AR may be viable, but it won't be very good. You also say Aim doesn't make the set. This is true, but all the other changes you've made + aim does. It also makes a gigantic difference for Devices/Martial/Ninja who don't have build up. I also like the beanbag follow up suggestion. It too would make all parties involved happy.
  8. just move the stun to slug. Gains everything, loses nothing. I don't even know why this is difficult.
  9. This is the better option. even if it just adds stun to one or two attacks lol Beanbag over aim is a terrible decision.
  10. Inspirations should have a cooldown and never give more than 10% of anything as a cap. death to inspirations also the way this change is described makes the change sound more impactful than it is
  11. /those/ changes are bad, someone is at veteran level 12k so it's too late already, you're just taking away stuff people like to do, even if i think it's boring.
  12. Yes but again, you have no reason not to do one. With WoW, doing one actively hurt your rewards as this did prior to Cobalt Arachne stated changes. People already don't join certain TF's for various reasons, the goal here is to prevent giving people a reason outside of personal choice to not join certain TF's. They can't force you to do low level runs of anything nor should they.
  13. You can absolutely do that, but you have no reason NOT to do a lower one if you feel like joining one now.
  14. It doesn't matter, actively giving people a reason not to join TF's based on difficulty is a bad idea. We literally saw this happen in WoW already with mythic keys, granted the rewards are on a much more casual scale... It should still be avoided. This issue is easily avoided through other methods. This sets a maximum possible daily gain of 30 Prismatic Aether Particles from Advanced Difficulty content on the same character. They don't need any bells or whistles beyond this. If you do the harder difficulties you get to 30 cool nice, but why make it so you can't if you do a lower level TF? Makes no sense, completely pointless. You should encourage people to try the harder difficulties to get the max 30 if they -want- to.
  15. because there's no reason to have it be this way really. I don't even care about a daily cap, but actively encouraging people not to join a low level TF while you can get a higher reward from the same TF but on a high difficulty should probably be avoided at all costs.
  16. Honestly? I appreciate the effort here to make changes that are bold and so widespread but this one wasn't it. I don't really get it though, if the intention of the change was for design reasons, couldn't you just apply this to your new TF/Arc enemies or was this another one of those everything or nothing modifications?
  17. Just get rid of all of this "Oh i better not join this lower difficulty TF so i don't miss my maximized daily reward" avoid this at all costs. Just keep a daily cap you're happy with and stop caring what people do to get there.
  18. Nice, it's time for yet another kheldian thread sick man rage thread next?
  19. Pretty much this, nothing in a set should ever be universally seen as skip-able. There is no reason that isn't completely arbitrary for a power to be "bad" and quite frankly would literally be bad game design to think otherwise. I always thought It'd be cool to have hurl boulder do a tiny bit of splash damage, not so much as a way to fix balancing or anything but more so because you're tossing a giant boulder into a crowd of people. The gap between Focus and Serpent's goes from 3s difference to 1s difference in terms of recharge. (made both builds to have 160 global recharge). Even if it isn't the primary way of balancing, you still need to take IO's into account since post-50 on HC fully IO'ing is the normal. (not to say that doesn't mean focus wouldn't outpace it still) I dunno if you have that many builds prepared to compare fully IO'd versions of all those... maybe you do? 😅
