I could have -sworn- i seen somewhere Av's wouldn't get added to the lab groups. That was not a swipe at you i swear. I'm not being sarcastic when i say i love the lab. I genuinely love the lab of fog. The list was more things I've seen suggested thousands of times that haven't happened, so it was more assumption they never would. I don't think keeping basic notes is really a perfection thing, and the homecoming team seems pretty thorough in that area to me man. Also, Cobalt if you see this i actually do love the lab of fog, don't let haters get you down man you did great.

Yeah but thats just false hope, no need to give anyone that. A direct and definite "no" is cleaner and more honest. It also doesn't mean they can't change their minds later because no one is going to be like "um u said never so u betetr not"

I hate this thread but if the Homecoming team are looking for ideas I'm gonna go ahead and paste some. For reference, This is my current in-base memorial for Punchy on everlasting. It does the job but it can always be improved by a couple things, i'm not entirely sure on one of them if its doable. Customizable place-able NPC to better reflect what they actually looked like. A plaque you can add your own text to for people to click (this is the not sure one) Maybe with the Place-able customizable NPC we could get an option to have it apply a stone texture over everything to mimic a statue? also not sure about this one If customizable NPC's is too much, One that copies your costume when you place it down, preferably with static poses to mimic a hologram or something to indicate it's not trying to be the real person.

Could always give away 1 or 2 packs for getting all the badges. 200 presents clicked badge? 1 winter pack. It's not exploitable because in the time it takes you to click 200 packs, you could have bought more than 1 by just doing content. Killed trial WL? 10%ish chance for a winter pack. 🤷‍♀️ Aethers are fine every year to hand out by the thousands why not winters?

This is genuinely one of those things where I'd like to see it actually done before judging how it looks. Your trick with the gif was spot on in terms of how the illusion of impact can be done, but im just not sure how it'd look overall in use. Your example was obviously clunky since it was just an example. How it looks in Monhon is good, but i'd still like to see it in use. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to making the game look better though, so if the animator did do it well and it looks good, why not?
