You've mentioned two issues... 1 - The default font and size can be changed either in the forum software or by the user and their browser settings. 2 - The width of the posts can be adjusted but that would require a skin edits across a few components. Since it appears that the team bought a custom skin that may be something they could look into in the future, but overall it may be one of those folks have to get adjusted to.

@CipherOn the white space thing (Edit: in regards to paragraphs in posts) There's a setting for return key behavior, changing it to 'go to the next line' instead of 'start a new paragraph' , will eliminate the white space.

What you can do is copy the text then there will be an option to paste it as plain text. That should remove the formatting. There's also a button for CODE as well. Also the desktop version of the editor has more editor buttons but the admins can change the editor toolbar and add in some missing buttons.

Ahh I see you're playing the new MM kins...I keep forgetting about them. I've played Kin on every AT allowed on live, always offensively. I look forward to rolling through all the Mastermind primaries with Kinetics and see what changes for me... Probably not a lot. :D Pets on defensive follow should be interesting though.

2 Acc, 1 End, 1 Range (optional). Kinetics has so much recharge typically going on that global will be more than anyone needs. I have it at 8/s I think? 8-10 for sure, and that's typically damage capping most ATs on a full mob. End redux?...Why? Transference is available prior to fulcrum shift. Kinetics for sure has quick charge on powers, but depending on how and who you team with, having it up more often means stacking buffs for hitting the damage cap. Range is an interesting choice. I imagine for folks not fighting in melee range or if they're pulling using FS which is also an interesting choice for a pull power. As a Kin I live and die in melee range...so a range IO would never work for me. I do slot range in my Siphon Speed though because it is my recharge buff and my travel power.

I wish. I assure it can and does miss all the time. Slot a yellow. Not much has changed with Kinetics since live. Some folks don't slot for acc and just go for recharge. Also, you can always use siphon power too for MOAR POWAH! ;D

Have you checked your Combat Attributes to be sure you're not getting the buff? The icons might not be showing if you have hidden them.

The tags could be limited to a restricted list of ATs and powersets per forum. Not much to moderate after that. Ultimately though people don't like to go off the site to repost things. Perhaps, you could make a build compilation thread on this forum...like a guide of guide for builds that would serve as the defacto directory while the dev team picks a forum software. It would be a lot of work but players would maybe be able to find things a bit easier. ;D

If the dev team decides to change the forum software, you may not need a separate repository. If (fingers crossed) they choose IPS (Invision Community), that software has nice search and tagging system will pretty much organize things. Also some folks are particular about their builds and asking folks to copy/upload any builds wherever they find them may not sit too well with the builders. After all it is their hard work and labor you're asking people to upload without permission to an off site repository. Builds change and get refined, it's a daunting task to try and keep them updated, especially if the person isn't the author of the build.

No not really. Because some pets are not affected by buffs (ex. Phantom Army), some are temporary (ex. Gang War) some are pseudo pets (ex: Voltaic Sentinel Lighting Storm, Tornado). Some pseudo pets do benefit from buffs applied to the caster. Applying Fortitude to the a Storm Summoner prior to them casting Lighting Storm, you will notice the storm will also have Fortitude on it. On a team with a couple of masterminds and controllers that team window would get rather large. Let the pet owner worry about buffing their pets...They typically will have the powerset to do so anyway. :)

Invision Power Community is amazing! The clubs component will be great for Supergroup recruitment. The blogs for all the community RPers and writers. The Downloads section would be great for sharing costume files and other helpful community files. It is WELL worth the additional costs. RO has been using Invision since 2006 and it has only gotten better over time! I hope you all choose that software, I don't think you'll be disappointed EDIT: RO's IPS forum has been self hosted since 2006...Using IPS cloud servers is an option but the forum can run just fine outside of their servers.
