Important stuff you don't find in the power info: Offensive Adaptation gives you -7.5 resistance. Defensive Adaptation gives you -25% damage. This is in addition to losing the bonus that the other gives, and is kind of a big deal.

Sentinels seems to be END hogs, which makes the Rad Armor an attractive secondary. I tested Gamma Boost today, it looks like at 2/3 hp you get an unslotted Stamina and Health. At full hp you get 1.5 base Stamina. At 1 hp you get 2.5 base Health. Not sure if it's set defining, but a very nice power.

Funny story from the early days: I was playing an energy tanker, and would run around helping other heroes then hit a bind that said "No charge for my power". I'm all about the bad puns. Finally someone said "Is there a charge to make you go away?". Which was an objectively funny response. That's when I learned about "kill stealing". It's good to get outside our own bubbles.

Yeah, might want to remember this game has a much higher than normal percentage of "fluff" players. I introduced my son last week to the game, and the first thing he said was "Daddy, shouldn't we go help those other heroes fighting over there." It's not kill stealing, and I don't think the OP's aggressive stance represents the majority of the players.

Almost all of my high end toons had perma-hasten. There is certainly diminishing returns on tricking out a toon, but it's a noticeable difference. Masterminds probably need it least, but Doms obviously benefit. I'd say perma-Dom puts them above all other support AT's. Is there anyone who actually enjoys getting stunned? ;)

Get a FreeSync monitor if you have an AMD card, GSync if you have GForce. It's amazing how much smoother everything is.

A is the default slot that all powers come with. The (5) represent the 2 slots you get at that level. The enhancement in there is not one you can get until much higher level, so for now you fill it with anything. Most of the enhancements are IO's, which have set bonuses. You won't have these at first, and they really aren't worth worrying about until the 20's at the earliest. Most of these builds look significantly different while leveling, and even at 50 they look different unless you have ridiculous funds. In other words, a great build that costs 10 billion influence looks different from a very solid build that only uses 100 million.

These builders are more of an "end in mind" goal setting. You probably don't want to try to follow any of them while you are leveling - especially as a newer player. You can always respec later. For now, there are so many prestige powerups available, getting to the high teens is a piece of cake, build doesn't matter too much. Once you get there, the guides will make more sense.
