  2. Just like the title says, I have a pretty neat (to me) concept Dominator with Earth Control as my Primary and Dark Assault as my Secondary. The only problem is, I would PREFER it to be a viable build. So far it is fun and really packs a wallop to my enemies' "to hit." But, I can't seem to slot it very well, and while I understand the basic concept behind perma-dom, I am not getting there (hasten 2 slotted with 50 IOs). In short, I have NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING. But when I play, I have fun. Just cannot seem to play very fast, or with too many mobs. Would anyone happen to have a build laying around they wouldn't mind sharing? Much obliged in advance! ~Beorn

  4. I have never played a fire/rad controller. I don't know anything about the build. I've seen builds, and they sometimes have imps. But I really don't know what I'm doing with the skill set. ~Beorn (I am ignorant, but willing to learn)

    What about a concept scrapper of BroadSword/BattleAxe/WarMace & Shield? I have looked for a good build in Pines' and am at a loss for a scrapper/brute/tanker with a weapon and shield. Anyone? ~Beorn

It is almost exactly like the build Rejoicer posted on this thread: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,5534.0.html Nihil Umbra was born (same name as my Void Elf Shadow Priest in WoW). And MAN, what a tanky build. Not TOO many attacks, but heals, useful to a team, and decent damage on single target AND AoEs. Now, no Epic Power pool, but I don't really think it needs one. ~Beorn *EDIT* - Rejoicer, I just noticed you posted your build above as well. THANK YOU for an amazingly fun, surprisingly versatile and hardy build! I have a few questions, what incarnates do you recommend for all 6 powers (so, beyond the musculature, void and diamagnetic powers)? Also, if you were to "trick" this build out with purples, could you? Would you? If influence were no object?
  12. There are 2 ways: long and short. Long way? Get to level 20, start getting tips missions and go from villain to rogue/vigilante then to hero. Short way? Go to Pocket D, talk to Null the Gull (on top of the white truck) and ask to change your alignment. There you go! And good luck! ~Beorn

  14. THANK YOU! I really have NO idea what I am doing with Sentinels. I mean, my Street Justice/Elec Armor Brute I recreated from the old days is tuned to be pretty set on end game content, but... Beyond that, even 50s I had before (widows, crabs, warshades, peacebringers, etc.,) I really need guidance on slotting. So, totally new territory for me here, and I am not too proud to get guidance from others! :) ~B

  18. Hey there fellow Supers, I have never made a sentinel before, and this one is certainly a work in progress... The purples are fine, and I can get the inf to make just about anything, but, I want to be certain it is worth the playing time. So far I am loving it (lvl 41 atm), but this is the end goal.   20. One of the things that still escapes me is how incarnate powers would affect an as-close-as-possible-perma-MindLink build. Agility Paragon? What about the damage of Musculature? Also, I keep seeing how Night Widow is a "cheaper" build as opposed to Fortunata. Okay, but how? I have FINALLY gotten Pines loaded on my machine after completely removing Mids from my computer (since builds would go default Mids and would therefore NOT be able to load anything with Issue 25 set ups on it and glitch out), but my messing around with it just seems... anemic? Anyhoo, I can always get more inf for a build... So, while cheaper would mean playing the NW sooner, adding purples and Hamis would totally be on the table. Anyone have a build they could drop in the forums? I am looking for a jumping off point. Much obliged in advance! ~Beorn

What else am I going to do with my time? ~B Well the good news is with Homecoming you can switch alignments instantly (talk to Null the Gull) so at least you don't have to run a ton of alignment missions. Yeah, That is EXACTLY what I did. Saw Null, went villain, did Captain Mako's storyline, got the Patron Pool, took School of sharks, Arctic Blast and Bile Spray and, voila'! 2 more AoEs! Then, saw Null again and was back in Paragon City 2 hours later. Cheers all, I will put the build up when mids/pines doesn't jack up my machine. ~Beorn
