Keres not spawning in Duncan's 2nd DA mission
nowherewoman replied to nowherewoman's topic in Bug Reports
Do you mean the room with the arcane circle where you rescue Ajax, or the big red-lit Oro temple room at the end of the map? In either case, 3rd time on the mission, nothing. -
Keres not spawning in Duncan's 2nd DA mission
nowherewoman replied to nowherewoman's topic in Bug Reports
I did, in fact, talk to Diabolique both times I ran through the mission. Went through the dialogue 'You have me beat....' through ' Goodbye, we'll meet again very soon' dialogue (she's not easy to miss- she's standing almost right in the path in the lake room), and she vanished. And that was that. No Keres, no nothing. Going to try it again tonight, try to get a log. -
Keres not spawning in Duncan's 2nd DA mission
nowherewoman replied to nowherewoman's topic in Bug Reports
Also, if you're supposed to find a glowie first, as per the 'Find information the circle has on Mot' objective (I've not done this mission in some time, so I don't recall the exact flow), the glowie isn't spawning AFAICT. -
In Praetor Duncan's second mission in Dark Astoria, "Uncover Information from the Circle", twice now the Keres has not spawned, leaving the mission incompletable. I've found all 3 NPCs, explored the entire map, AFAICT defeated all enemies; there's no 'last enemy' map marker for the boss. Tried the mission twice, having logged out in between attempts; have tried leaving the map and returning in case she got stuck in a wall. Tried just standing around for a while to let her catch up if she'd gotten lost. Nada. Not sure if it's relevant, but the mission description shows the 'Rescue Ajax' and "Save Madame Bellarose' objectives as complete, but there isn't an entry for speaking to Diabolique, even though I did and she ported out. Bad flag?

This would be very low-pri, and I don't know if it's even doable. But I thought it would be cool if we could 'tag' individual 'stume slots with a badge. So, as an example, a hero with a secret identity could have the 'commuter' badge on their civilian clothes, and then something more apropos to their hero identity on another- i.e. your badge would swap when you 'changed clothes', without having to wade through the badge lists again.

Will test again when I get a chance, but yesterday on the character in question, triggering CP sheathed her katana every time.

From the little I understand of the animation system, I'm not sure this would be doable, but it would be GREAT if we could ditch the weapon redraw when using CT. It's great to be able to BAMMMF! around the field of action- but less so when you have to stand there like you've been hit by an anvil for a moment to pull your beatin' stick out again when you arrive. Esp. since this doesn't affect 'inborn' powers like SS and MA.

City Mod Installer (Released)
nowherewoman replied to Michiyo's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
Clearly I'm doing something stupidly wrong. Set up the Mod Installer, AFAICT according to instructions. Set the asset/mods path in the HC launcher. DLed and installed the BadgeSetMenu mod, and the Vidiots Maps (after removing the Data folder for the old manual version). Clicked 'add to launcher'. The .piggs are appearing in the assets/mods folder...but nothing has changed in game. No popmenu when using the slash command, and no maps. Help? Miew? ...And now, suddenly, it's working. Unsure what changed, but...yay!? -
Wish we could vote for a couple, for different categories. The 'hidden door' trick in Vault Luxe is dead brill.

Macroing it is an interesting idea. More front end, but easier at usetime than a dropdown. Wasn't aware of the 'settitle' command. Thanks!

This may have been brought up before, and my search-fu was weak, but: Would it be in any way possible to develop a Favorites list for the badges you've collected? Just a 5-slot list and a method to populate it would be great. It would be a nice little QOL thing if you're the sort who changes badges for RP or SG events and suchlike to not have to scroll through all the other lists to find the one you want.

Focused Feedback: Stance Selection
nowherewoman replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Selecting Slide stance with a new character through Ms. Liberty's edit costume function appears to do nothing at all. Beast and Ninja work fine; Slide changes nothing. -
Glad to finally be able to kick in- before the flood of 'Take Mah Moneh!' filled your coffers 😛

*chuckles* Looking at all the back and forth- it's like we never left! -
How do I actually get the sky to show?
nowherewoman replied to PeterDutcher's topic in Base Construction
Remember that turning on/off base edit mode will move you back to the original entrance room- so it's possible to screw yourself up, since once you're out of Edit mode you can't get back to the outside section of the base- and that includes your base entrance portal if you've moved it. Have a flight power, and set up a teleport link from the entrance room to your outside sections early if you're gonna build outside. -
And too late again for me, too. I feel bad, but OTOH, that's AWESOME!

If my memory serves correct, they specifically took away several color choices earlier on to prevent just that. People were making bikini-characters and matching up the bikini color with the skin tone color. That being said. I think sliders would be cool. Give us sliders for skin tones too! It's still possible, with certain skin tones, anyway, so it's maybe a moot point. I'd like to see better color-matching options myself, to make some of those pesky costume pieces work with each other.

While I agree with the OP- to a point; I miss a certain sense of achievement for finally earning enough inf to buy some specific widget- I also can't say I'd be happy to going back to having to grind like for every single desk and wall deco. And the old system seriously penalized smaller SGs/VGs when it came to making a base with even the merest functionality.
-
And also something similar for floors, for folks who'd like their base to be 'suspended', like an airship or space station. It's jarring to look down from my Darkspace Runner and see...floor tiles... Also, don't know if this would be possible, but it would be fun if we could skin NPCs from saved costume files, so as to have themed NPCs besides the main groups, or have all your alts hanging out while you're on your main. And to be able to 'lock' NPC names, as we can pets'.

Costume Piece Request: full-length skirts!
nowherewoman replied to Djehuty3's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
And another +1 if doable. -
Can you make the XP boost a toggle?
nowherewoman replied to Gulbasaur's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Also, as it stands now, you have to pay for your cake before you can eat it, in the form of reduced/eliminated INF gain. So you have to choose: get out of the lowbie levels faster, or be able to buy ENH sooner. Being able to toggle it on and off at will, instead of living with your choice by the hour, kinda defeats the balance of the system, IMO. -
Hey there! First off, a thousand thank yous for all the work you folks do for all us COX junkies. Never expected to find a game again that rewarded my altitis in such a corner-pusher type manner ;D One little thing: could we please, please, please get the Talons waitcloth belt/skirt or something like it as a costume piece? https://paragonwiki.com/w/images//thumb/4/41/TalonsOfVengeance_OracleShadow.png/104px-TalonsOfVengeance_OracleShadow.png[/img] They'd be great for a number of classes of character types, especially with a cleaned-up bottom edge. It seems to be the one Talons piece not available in the 'stume maker, and while there are a couple of belts with loincloths, they're quite short and either front or back only.

Homecoming Server Update (May 7th): Many news!
nowherewoman replied to GM Tempest's topic in Announcements
Hail Arachnos! And you folks! There are no words for the joy produced by having this back online, and alive. -
While we do, technically, now have four servers, they're all still unstable enough that I wouldn't count on being able to get much RPing done for a bit.
