    Let's not forget LRSF, which requires the Time after Time arc, the last of four arcs for your patron. On the other hand, by the time you hit 50 redside you've probably already completed it. The rest are pretty quick and easy by comparison. Katie and Hess only require you flashback the last arc in the zone (you can skip the earlier arcs). Kal drops an easy tip almost as soon as you hit 20 redside. The last Hollows arc can be done by flashback in less than 30 minutes as long as you don't insist on clearing the Atta map. Unlocking Cimerora is just one of those things I do on every alt as soon as they hit 35. Just like going to RWZ for the Member of Vanguard badge.

    I could have sworn I'd seen some beam rifles over the weekend, either with Council (running Manticore TF) or with Family (running Sister Airlia's arcs). I don't think I see Ascendants in high-level content, so they might stand some upgrading. Much as I hate getting hit with Detention Field, Ascendants might help revive Council from steamroll status. And Council were more challenging when their missions had a non-zero chance of spawning Shadow Cyst Crystals. (Or maybe not, since so many people faceroll ITF nowadays.)

    Statesman was replaced pretty quickly by Positron (both leading the Phalanx and as the Damsel in Distress in Maria Jenkins' arc). If we really need another (and I'm not sure we do), Honoree (Hero One) is back. It might make a decent hero arc to walk him through the lore of the world surviving the Rikti War because of his sacrifice, and it might make just as powerful a lead-in as with Statesman to the Coming Storm.

    I'm not sure I'd fully joined the Theme Team two years ago, but I recall running Katie Hannon last year on my main. I'm happy to do that this year as well! Next week, I should be in for Op Renault with Ruby Kit Kat (Rad/Rad Stalker).

    I had a lifetime subscription from Beta, but the last time I played STO was sometime around 2012, when the level cap was still 40 and it hadn't linked to Steam yet. I loved flying starships, but I didn't love the away team missions or the crafting system.

    It might have dropped it into the accounts folder under your login username. My costumes folder is still in the folder you're showing, but it randomly moved where it stored my chat logs from the logs folder to a new folder there after one of the patches a while back. I'm on call for work this weekend, but there's a 50/50 chance I'll make it with Princess Grace (Widow).

    That's part of what I haven't quite gotten about Doms yet, since my CTRL main is so ingrained in my playstyle. (After being gone for 7 years, I logged into HC and still had muscle memory for the powerset.) Controllers are quite soloable (a lot of the early farmers on live were Fire/Kin or Ill/Kin). For my experience, Mind is safe but slow (a lot of control tools that work solo better than teams), as long as you don't expect to go the usual meta of +4/x8. Much as I'd like to have better damage on my primary, at least /Kin works better solo than /FF or /Emp.

    Awesome Valentine's Day (eve eve) fun! A full team! Citadel is not on-theme. (Took me a couple of screenshots to get one mid-animation like I wanted.) So much red/white/pink! Even the pets! Sherwin-Williams is a Council plot. There you are, Vandal. TF Complete! Pretty good time for Citadel. After shot.

    Oddly, I've found my Ice/Ice Blaster seems to have stronger controls than my Mind/Kin Controller, and additionally does Blaster damage. As has been said before, most of Mind's problem comes down to how it interacts (or doesn't) with Containment. Mezmerize/Mass Hypnosis is another problem, since they don't tick like some other Sleep powers do, so even a DoT tick is enough to wake the target up (and thus destroy precious Containment). And the sign of a sleeping target is subtle enough that players seem to be way worse than the AI about avoiding these targets. (I've been Slept on teams and had enemies ignore me completely for the full duration.)

    I always love the Shadow Shard TFs! I do have the habit of rushing through to the end in the final mission, but I got hung up on terrain/mobs more frequently (and forgot I usually pop a whole column of +Def/+Res) so I account for 3 of our team's 5 defeats. 🙂 Our starting lineup! As an added layer of mischief, I'm taking the role of quest-giver. 🙂 I think this is the aftermath of the first room that was filled to the walls with enemies. On the hunt for Nemesis...again. This hunt was way easier than the initial one, when they were hiding. Mission complete!

    Why should it always be easy? Tin Mage was tough, but I had fun as we figured it out. My only problem was getting constantly mezzed in human form, so I kept going dwarf form. (Somehow I ended up Sleeping at one point in the final fight?) We still finished in under an hour. I ended up with five badges--including one (Army of Neu) that's the only badge standing between my main and MoTM.
