I haven't tried this, since I don't have one, but does the target dummy count as an enemy for purposes of Kinetics powers (Transfusion, Transference, Fulcrum Shift)? I've had issues where if my primary target drops during the casting of Transference or Fulcrum Shift the power fails (I think they fixed that for Transfusion a few Pages back), so a more durable target that I can use just as FS fodder might be an interesting thing to try because targets do melt away in ToT leagues. Would that be a net gain or a net loss to the league, though?

I don't know the TF inside and out, but I'm relatively familiar with it. It's mostly Rularuu and Crey. Don't count on stealthing much (the eyeballs ignore stealth, as do the frequent ambushes). There's a lot of travel back and forth between the City and the Shard, so Team Teleport is really useful. Indeed, the proliferation of transportation powers is the main reason this TF can be done in 2 hours instead of 8.

The ToT event, whenever we run it, might work better with a theme like "Wear a ToT costume" since you get tips from knocking on doors in a costume power. You could even show up not having one, since you'll probably get one pretty quickly from knocking on doors. We could almost make a tips badge run as the event, though I'm not sure if the tip gives the badge to everyone or just the tip holder. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Halloween_Event_2010#Whispered_Rumor_Tip_Mission We could do a "Before and After" theme of it. "Before" is a plain costume (like plain tights), and "After" is with an active costume power.

I find Levitate really useful as it is. It doesn't set up Containment, but I slot a Hold proc to help with that. I sometimes find KB/KD to be the most reliable control, especially against stuff like Nemesis.

I'd thought it'd be cool to go to Crater Lake, which is on the main path (around 90% obscuration), and maybe get some interesting pictures. But I have enough other stuff going on that I don't want to travel any more right now, so I'm staying home in Alabama (around 55%). There are a bunch of events being planned for the total eclipse on 8 April 2024, and I'm a few hours' drive from the totality path.

We should also be looking at October, since Trixie is going to miss it. It's Shardtober, but here's the full list of TF/SF options as I'm seeing them (with levels): 10/7 - Dr. Quaterfield (40-45), Apex/Tin Mage (50+) Last cycle (7/8), we did Tinpex with the Fairy Tale theme. Most people consider this choice a no-brainer, since Dr. Q usually takes about 2 hours. But I love the Shard content. 10/14 - Sara Moore (44+), Synapse (15-20), Silver Mantis (20-25) Last cycle (7/15), we did Synapse with the Brain-in-a-Jar theme. There's a chance I may miss this week, since the annular solar eclipse in the southwestern US is also midday on the 14th. 10/21 - Justin Augustine (44+), ITF (35+), Op Renault (25-30) Last cycle (7/22), we did Op Renault with the Time Traveler theme. 10/28 - Faathim the Kind (44+), Penny Yin (20-25), Ice Mistral (35-40) Last cycle (7/29), we did Penny Yin with the Police theme. I think @Bananiac had some good ideas for themes, we haven't used them all yet, and 10/7 is close to the German theme. Any other suggestions? Any preferences for which WSTs we want to hit?

I'll bring Robt Hooke - Titan Weapons / Dark Armor Brute. Hoping the KB/KD in his attacks evokes the spring motion. 🙂 I can run it if needed, but Posi 1+2 isn't too bad. The toughest part is the last mission of Posi 1, with the Circle of Thorns multi-ambush at City Hall followed by fighting our shadow selves inside.

Red and blue (and pink and green), banding together for (TF) Profit! Down the gauntlet, hunting for Captain Roberts. Well, he's no Dread Pirate... Just hanging out in the train station. Sometimes, you need a hero. Sometimes, you're holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night. Even Captain Castillo knows you can't get good pics in a cave. 🙂 Mission complete!

I've done an all-black sort of suit on my main to look like a priest, though the powersets (mind/kin) aren't particularly "holy" or "unholy" (short of color change). I could probably do this with my PB, whom I've styled as something of an angel anyway. Maybe storm for ranged? I automatically say the phrase in the character of Jack Burton. 🙂 Would the Carnival masks work for this? I still haven't respec'ed Jean-Luc Wick since the Sentinel revamp. Maybe that's a good excuse for me to look at that. Kin does that too with Transference. I keep thinking with my main, "Are you gonna use that [Endurance]?" Maybe that should be her catchphrase. 🙂 On a slightly different topic, I recall a year or two ago we did an Oktoberfest theme. 5th Column agents (or rejects, or escapees, or whatever) could hit a proxy for Black-White-Red. Did someone say bier? It would have been pretty on-the-nose if I'd done "water" powers with Whiskey River (instead of "take my mind" psi/mind).

/enterbasefrompasscode was restricted to where you can use it. It only works within a short distance of a base portal or from within a base (so you can visit different bases) unless you use LRT or Base TP. The travel powers (LRT, Base TP) had 10s cast times added in PVP zones to halt shenanigans. -

Wow, as I flashback to Live, when you had to earn the zone exploration accolade--in SG mode--to unlock the ability to put that zone's beacon in your SG base. -

Started in May 2019. Mostly pack openings and the last big Winter Pack sale, but I do play my 50s quite a bit (my main is around VL 385) but not so much farming. My main sits at about 1B inf, 500 Hero Merits, 500 Villain Merits, and maybe 1-2k regular Merits. I have 3B inf in emails and maybe another 1-2B inf spread among my small stable of around 30 alts. In the 2019-20 timeframe, I would store up Merits from pack openings and sell the ATOs, boosters, and catalysts, and that was enough to make decent profit. Now, I still do pack openings occasionally (100 packs at a time), only selling ATOs, and it barely breaks even. I also did a pack opening recently just to store up ATO sets for the next few alts. I've been posting ATOs for a little under 8M, and they usually sell for 8M (occasionally as high as 10-15M) but take a few days to clear out. I'll generally ship 100M inf to a new alt and grab the double XP boosters, P2W freebies, convenience travel powers (TT, MT, ATT, base portal), and maybe a few other minor things (like full stacks of Backup Radio and Envenomed Dagger). They'll also spend the tiny cost of 8 hours of each amplifier at level 1, just because. You can either run the 8 badges in Atlas to get the LRT power or spend the inf at P2W.
