  1. As I understand it, the way it works is that only specific tailors will change body types. These are the named stylists at Icon (Serge, et. al) blueside, Facemaker Surgeons redside, the woman standing outside the tailor building goldside (forget her name) and the "body seamstress" in the Tiki Lounge. None of these appear to be able to change VEATs in their default uniform, but I've tested several of the others with other characters and they seem to work. I don't think it's tied to a badge.
  2. You can't "roll a villain warshade" (or a villain peacebringer, for that matter). Those archetypes are forced to start blueside and can only switch alignments later. You actually kinda can. Roll a Kheldian. Run to KR and go to Pocket D before starting any missions and talk to Null. Have him change your Alignment to Villain or Rogue. Go back out to Port Oakes, then to Mercy. Start Kuzmin's arc like any other new villain. Voila. Works for VEATs too. ...doesn't stop Voids and Quantums from spawning on Kheldians though.
  3. Only beef with Bots/Rad is that Fallout doesn't work on the pets (or so I hear). How satisfying it would've been to be able to be, like "whoops, unstable power core!" and then blow up the bot your enemies thought they defeated. Outside o'that, yeah, it seems pretty grand, though I'm not far with mine, either.
  4. So something I noticed today, which is probably a bug/glitch, but kinda interesting anyway: I just started trying a Fire/Ninja Sentinel, and sometimes after my Opportunity wears off, the bar was staying full. I suspect it's related to one or two possibilities (which may be connected). 1. I notice that there's a very short time, like a tenth of a second or less, when the bar switches back to its normal color at the end of Opportunity, but before it resets. Possibly triggering damage during this very, very short window is the cause. 2. Related to the above, being as I was playing Fire/, it's possible that the DoTs are having a similar effect to what I described in (1). Anyone else run into something like this? I can't seem to make it happen, but it's super gravy when it does.
  5. It's now available from the Pay-2-Win vendors, buts costs 1 million Influence.
  6. Ah! But you can! As long as you're on a character with invite permission, type /altinvite (your other character's name) Ooh, keen. Is there a way to promote them, too?
  7. Thanks guys. Guess I should rethink it after all. I took and slotted Air Superiority, but prolly don't need that later on with the two Psi Blades, TK Blow, and Assassin attack, so I can get the slots for it there (and just replace AS with Hover for the LotG bonus, since I want something for Afterburner), but I'm not sure what to drop otherwise. I've heard Mass Levitate ain't great, but it's the only AoE in the set, and it's nice to have at least a bit. Another option is Hasten, but it's giving me perma-Energize, so that'd be unfortunate, but it might be my best choice. That, or changing travel pools. At least this gives me a step in the right direction.
  8. I put together a hypothetical build for a Psi/Electric Stalker in Pine's, only to realize after the fact that I forgot to include Boggle in the build. Only thing is...I'm not really sure how good it is anyway? I'm not above a good, well-placed Confuse, but it's got kind of a long windup time for someone who's mostly fighting it out at melee range. I'm not sure if it can be used pre-emptively...does it break Hide? If so, it seems right out. I admit, I'm kind of hoping it's not worth it 'cause otherwise, I'm not sure, I might have to re-think my plans. But at the same time, I don't want to feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot for skipping it.
  9. Whoops, meant to get that in the screenshot, only now realized I didn't. Every enhancement in the set is 50 Merits.
  10. Fear not, I ain't playing. Well, I mean, I'm playing City of Heroes (man, still feels good to say that), but not with your feelings. . It's in the patch notes, too, mentioned as a Schedule C. It's also worth noting in the image above that it's not tagged as unique like the event enhancement. I haven't actually tried to check on that, but I'd assume you can have many.
  11. There's a new "i25" Knockback set that has a Knockback-to-Knockdown enhancement in it, though! I saw it at the Merit Vendor.
  12. Correct. If you hit the damage cap with /Kin, then Scourge will just do a second hit also at the damage cap.
  13. It does. Scourge deals a second tick of damage (like a Critical Hit) so both "halves" of the Scourge hit approach the damage cap separately.
  14. It reminds me a little of Stone with the whole "modal" thing. In practice it's probably less clunky, if maybe not quite as strong, either.
  15. In my experience, the healed amount is ~20% of the damage dealt.
  16. I checked in Praetoria and Rita Mayfair, an NPC who stands outside the tailor, shop, can do it. I assume the named tailors in Paragon (Serge, etc.), can as well. Good to know, thanks.
  17. 1. So I was able to get hold of the old Vidiotmaps map pack again, and that's lovely, but there was another "mod" that I had for the game back in the day that turned the Praetoria menu background purple instead of gold, making the enhancement screen, notably, much easier to read. It's less important, but would be nice. Does anyone know if that little utility is still floating around anywhere? 2. On another note, I remember there was one of the RMT-store origin packs that allowed body types to be changed at the tailor. I notice the option is still in the game, but grayed out and unselectable. My guess would be the Pay-2-Win vendor, but I don't recall seeing it there, either. Is there a way to unlock this? My little lady Dominator that turns into a giant hulking rock monster when Domination is active would be most grateful.
  18. This is a combo I was looking at. I guess you're a step ahead! I was thinking this would be a cool set especially if I could use the event Enhancers to minimize knockback (versus knockdown), but apparently, I can only have one of those (and I don't think there's anything else that has a similar effect, correct me if I'm wrong). I'm thinking I might use that on Explosive Blast to minimize scatter (since stuff scattered by Nova isn't long for this world anyway, and Energy Torrent usually tends to go pretty "straight").
  19. I saw "you" in-game earlier...were you able to get the name back? Hope whoever stuck on it was classy to ya.
  20. I guess the first one that comes to mind was the reassigning of animations for the Claws/ set. Overall, they actually made the set better, but less fun for me to play (especially since they didn't do anything to speed up Follow Up, which still looked way too slow and clunky for a move called "Follow Up"). I switched to Dual Blades (and then to Night Widows) after that.
