When I turned 62 last month, my sons conspired with my wife to get me a wood pellet grill. Years and decades ago, I used to grill often. I find now that I really like cooking in cast iron. It keeps the flavors and moisture in the meat better than drying it out over the open fire. Besides, I am too damn old to change my ways. 😉 That was last month. Now I am buying accessories, tools, and food for my Pit Boss. It is my White Elephant. Right now, I am cooking "wood-fired" pizza. Tomorrow, I am planning an 18th century meat pie on the grill. I had my eggs and sausages on the grill. I even roast my coffee beans over the fire.

People fought each other for food preservation resources. The Pemmican War is an interesting example of the need to preserve food, a method of preservation, and the extreme measures to acquire those resources.

Usually, I email a 100 million INF to a new character to get a few START items. Currently, I have about 20 storage emails of a billion INF each lying around while I figure an INF storage method that I am comfortable with using. I have plenty of INF lying around. I got lazy and did not send an email with a smaller amount. This did encourage me to spend a day in the market. It is nice to know that the GMs are able and willing to help. I will instead take the minor INF loss as a personal learning event. I am sharing the experience.

Tell me I didn't just create a new character. Claim 999,999,999 inf email. And delete it to reroll it? /e facepalm

I am currently stashing my cash in the email system. I have about 18 billion and 24 characters, with most of the inf in emails. What is the best way to stash your cash? Most of my alts are youngsters. Do I have to worry about under 50-character banks getting deleted?

The recipes and salvage I get from game play. But crafting rare enhancements to sell is usually a loosing deal. I convert uncommon enhancements into rare enhancements. And again, even crafting uncommon enhancements can be expensive. Big secret, don't tell any one, but you can buy ready-made uncommon enhancements from the market at a lower price than you can craft them, in many cases. The trick is setting up easy systems to buy, convert, and sell the enhancements quickly in large amounts without pushing the market's sell-points too far from your buy/sell goals. The CoH market is PvP. PvP and co-op PvE.

I don't know if this will help. I have just added Razer Kraken v3 headphones with Razer 7.1 Surround Sound app. Now I have Surround Sound on my headphones, except in CoH. My system's motherboard does not support 3d sound, and CoH does not offer 3D sound option. If I use the surround sound software settings on my system and app settings, I miss some of the CoH sounds. So, I do not run Razer 7.1 Surround Sound when playing CoH. Long story short, I had to check computer settings, app settings, and game settings to find the setup that works on CoH.

FUN FACT: You can get the Ouro portal power at level 1. There is no need to ask for a O Port ever again. Level One Ouroboros: 1. Take the tunnel transport, the portal next to the train in Atlas (ferry in Mercy Island), to night ward. Enter the midnighter mansion. This gets you the midnighter badge. 2. Go back to Atlas (Mercy Island), take the train to south Steel Canyon station (ferry to Cap au Diable north ferry), enter the midnight club and go to Cimerora. This gets you the Ouroboros portal power. 3. Drop the O Port and go to Ouroboros and hang out as a level 1 player. I always do the old-school tutorial, kill/arrest one mob in first zone to get inf to auction off the tutorial inspirations, buy a jet pack, and then go to Ouroboros before leveling up. Then I choose to either power level, play content, or play theme--like market only, etc. There are so many things to do in CoH-HC that there is no reason to play the same way every time.

Is there a power that you can get from the START vendor for free to toggle your powers to only affect your self? I have never used it. It sounds like the answer to the op problem, unless the op desire is to hit non-grey while leaving grey standing. I would not want to make every player's taunts not hit grey mobs. What if you need to taunt greys for a hunt?

Question. Was the video card driver from the manufacturer? And did the Windows 11 update overwrite the previous driver update from the manufacturer? Can you check the driver update history? And can you reload the previous driver?

Then why give players an option so they can attack another players' persons that disagree with those posts through Thumb Up reaction? The fact that we post suggestions in a public forum is a poll for agreement vs disagreement. If we only allow those responses that agree with our positions, we are attacking those that would give their disagreement with Thumb Down reaction. The old /JRanger fiasco was that they would not allow people to simply say "no" to proposed changes, aka suggestions. They allowed people to say "yes" without adding the reason that they agreed, but you could not say "no" without listing an argument.

Each shard has a list of SG passcodes in the shard's forum, I think. We should encourage them to visit the forum, or join an active SG for help, I think.
