One of the most fascinating things about base building is the awareness of space. Assuming the base is for an SG of only around 10 people or less, you technically don't need a massive amount of space but some options require more or less space than you realize. I'll likely have more thoughts after I start touring others and after judging is over. -

Both for challenge and for minimalism, while having more going on than just the single room style of base building. It's origin themed and "Mutant" was the most clear idea I had. There were two major inspirations for the style of the base but I also want it to stand on it's own. Some things I couldn't pull off but I'm mostly satisfied with the workarounds. -

Looking for where an item is in the editor, if it exists. I was looking for the sewer pipe with grating like the entrance/exits to missions in the sewer. Not expecting the door to be functional but looking for that geometry.

Out of curiosity, is this published yet? Also, always remember to adjust the XP slider so it's giving values for lvl10 instead of the default (lvl 25?). Also, remember you can customize some standard enemy color schemes. My arc Consideration of Knowledge shows some examples but if yours is published we can stick our heads in and offer feedback.

Something I saw on Discord once when a similar conversation came up. Though it would be nice if there was another dedicated hospital map.

With this being a recurring bit of feedback, I've opted to remove these. In the grand scheme of things, it's not needed. Plus, future projects might play in the space of having players in a role and I'd rather not overdo it elsewhere.

Mission Architect Sunday Special: Story based teaming in AE!

We concluded the first Reunion edition of the Mission Architect Sunday Special! Everyone had fun and just what exciting arcs were run today? @Poltergeist Prince's AE Radios: Paralegal Work for Chris Jenkins (66810). Assorted legal assistance! Small turnout but definitely had big "nice to see something in AE that's not a farm" energy. And there were farmers in Pocket D so coexisting is possible. I wonder if numbers will increase for these on the next loop. NEXT TIME... MASS returns to Indomitable on May 4. -

Generally, the first will be selected ahead of time by the team leader while the second will be a random pick or chosen by one of the other team members. MASS will cycle across shards. It starts approximately 2PM EST in Pocket D for co-op teaming.

Hey! I don't know how many of you visit the Mission Architect section of the forums but I'm putting a version of the Mission Architect Sunday Special thread here for awareness and any questions people might have. MASS is a story focused AE event that cycles through the various shards. The first for Reunion will be Sunday, April 20 at 2-4 PM EST (UTC 7-9PM) in Pocket D. Usually it meets in the RWZ but trying something different this time.

For today's Mission Architect Sunday Special, we ran: @PW's Two Tickets to Westerly (#1678). A young couple in peril! While small, Indomitable has remained relatively consistent. Don't know if it's due to people who know me there or if it catches attention since it isn't competing against as much on the shard. We'll see because... NEXT TIME... MASS has its first run on Reunion on April 20. -

It's not that you can't say it in a work of fiction, just that there's a fuzzy line with the CoC. And AE has been hit with weird restrictions before. The specter of the Marvel case hangs over the game. Why risk it? -

Thoroughly enjoyed the arc. Flowed well without clues. Pity we only have that one official hospital map but it worked for the story. Mildly disappointed the "150 year old patients" moment wasn't a reference to the Bad People, Good Intentions arc (as of now in CoH, the MediPorter covers the elderly and disabled). Though it works fine as is, noting that the Council doesn't know what they're doing as opposed to the concept of attacking one group hurts others that are more vulnerable. Didn't see any typos and the only thing of note was: SWAT Officer - This hapless citizen is in over his head. Which seemed generic for an officer but most might not notice. -
Had fun today. My character was temporarily transferred over from Torchbearer, but was previously on Reunion for a costume contest, but was originally created due to a Discord costume contest. A bit of a journey, heh.

I'd make tons of new maps for Mission Architect, especially for "simple" things that are missing like shop interiors and apartments. -

Yeah, the ability to give the contact an emote would help in adding character to the contact. Especially compared to the current stiff pose.
