Not a regular instance but an AE map. [-4026.6 0.0 -4692.1] is designated as a Front boss spawn point for the Steel Canyon SERAPH map but it spawns in the back. Should probably be designated as Back instead.
-
Wait, any powerset? If so, tentatively put me down as Operative Hugo - Arsenal/Forcefield Controller. Would actually be my first one of these on a villain.

All Blaster was an experience but was a good run. Had a lot of fun. Though, I forgot about Krakens and the Hydra singling people out and going, "That person needs to die."

Architect Entertainment - Content Ideas
ZamuelNow replied to Arcanum's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This will sound like...and I guess technically is...a suggested nerf to something in AE. huang3721 discovered that the maximum amount of customs that players can possibly add to a mission before it can't load is less than half of the listed max file size. Considering a number of people have mentioned having trouble loading their arcs when they hit 40% of the file size, it may be in the best interest of system stability in AE to cut the max file size in half. Link to file size tests: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/51835-adding-hundreds-of-custom-critters-into-a-group/ -
Since I haven't done the Abandoned Sewer Trial since retail, I have a question. On Homecoming, do people get both the Plasma and the Thermite guns or do people ignore the Thermite?
-
Out of curiosity, was this tested on multiple maps? Only partially true. Maps that have a defined indoor/outdoor split usually have the the outdoors as the Front and the indoors as the Middle and/or Back.

I'm signing up for the Abandoned Sewer Trial on Ebony Gyro. Since she's an Elec/Elec Blaster, I guess that means an all Blaster run.

One idea for a theme is to base the theme on the TF itself. Such as undercover as the main faction being fought or dressing as the contacts faction. I personally prefer costume concepts over powers due to limited characters but "All same AT" runs can be pretty fun.
-
Overall, a fun arc that doesn't overstay it's welcome. The second mission seems fine as a Defeat All since it's a small map. If there would be a problem, it would be that you're fighting Sky Raiders who have teleports and a runner could hide in a weird place. There's some typos but it's generally not egregious. On that:

In Talos, there's animation where one faction is beating another with a bat and the other is on their knees trying to block it. Freakshow are beating on the new Warriors and while the Warriors are properly reacting to being hit, the Freaks aren't animating the bat swing. In Striga, Council seem to be animating the bat swing so the Freaks may need updating on how they interact with the Warriors. In Talos, there's a fist fight animation. The timing of the hit and reaction is off in fights between Tsoo and the Warriors. Don't know if it's a true bug or a server timing issue since it normally animates decent.

Focused Feedback: Enemy Group Revamp - The Warriors
ZamuelNow replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Didn't have time to fully test fighting them so I jumped on to view them with a higher level character. Ran around Talos and they look good with ties to their prior look. I'm assuming that target priority will be based on name and weapon as opposed to outfit and color scheme. Due to Striga, there villain access and street sweeping access at slightly higher levels but I don't know if you want any 30+ or 40+ enemies present in other zones. Going into AE, I was able to read some of the bios. Most seem good with expanded lore. Heracles, despite getting a new outfit, is still using the old "stole a wedding ring" bio instead of something more befitting a unique named boss. Also, I see they're already available in AE so you might want to mention that in the patch notes. -
Adding to the AE discussion: There's spawn point oddities that cleaning up would do a lot to help in writing arcs.

Do You Prefer to Take it Slow? Introducing Steady Indom
ZamuelNow replied to Lunar Ronin's topic in General Discussion
In the Indomitable server version of this thread I talked about time since a few of us have hit 50. Here...I'm going to talk funds. Despite some new player goodies I picked up on other characters, I decided to only fund my Steady Indom character with things he picked up while leveling (barring a single Team Inspiration from my mail). Funding the character through normal play was quite doable though there were occassional hiccups since I didn't go in with an actual plan. Kill Most runs through story content nets you a lot of drops for crafting and auction. Actually got a couple of end of mission Prismatic Aethers. -
Steady Indomitable Weekly Red and Gold Static Team
ZamuelNow replied to Lunar Ronin's topic in Indomitable
I think a little of both. We want to get the last few people to 50 and there's one or two high level things we'd like to do. Lunar probably knows more since we're still hashing things out.- 7 replies

Steady Indomitable Weekly Red and Gold Static Team
ZamuelNow replied to Lunar Ronin's topic in Indomitable
Some of us have hit Level 50 or are about to hit 50. So, for a not min/max team that was only playing once a week and would often include PUG members it took roughly three months. If all those Saturdays were consecutive days, it would be about three weeks going at casual pace with occasionally hard content.- 7 replies

Adding hundreds of custom critters into a group
ZamuelNow replied to huang3721's topic in Mission Architect
Been away from AE for a while but about to gear up to work on some stuff. 45.81% of the file size? Interesting... -
Isn't there a screenshot missing? Specifically a group photo from the second instance of the Torchbearer CC. It's actually the instance Build A Beast was from. Regardless, the CC was fun on both days and it was a treat to see the old devs.

I know the level range of Recluse's Victory has changed from what it was on Live. What would be needed if you were joining to two RV events? Weirdly enough, I was more used to exploring Warburg than RV on Live. For future badge runs, perhaps something involving Drowning in Blood? Death From Below gets run all the time but you never hear about DiB.

I just might be in range for Barracuda SF when it rolls around. Kinda exciting since I joined in I14 so it was the first major piece of content added after that and I have some fond memories. Granted, most TFs I look forward to due to not running them for a decade.

Not knowing how to enter the mission when the door is a Freedom Corp helicopter is slightly embarrassing. It gets way more embarrassing when you somewhat recently did the Faultline arcs that also have that type door. Still had fun, though.

Amplifying a question from Discord: Has anyone had any difficulties with custom enemies with healing powers not using them? They stated that the enemies are set to Ranged preference.

A power outage prevented me from getting in range for Eden so I'm signing up for Sutter with Ebony Gyro - Elec/Elec Blaster.

Just bumped into this. Maybe it's event based? Roughly above coordinates [365.4 0.0 1714.0]

All considered, people are probably getting settled in now that they have more characters and those characters are more fully built. So it's a lower max population but those here are more active.
