One person's bug is another's suggestion 🙂

Found out the hard way the other day that if someone doesn't click a glowie to be assigned a role in the Heist, they can still enter the mission door, but they can only stay in the warehouse and assist in the fight with the bosses. They cannot partake of the Heist itself, which results in some of the badges not rewarding. Suggest a minor adjustment to the mission door so that unless you have an assigned role you cannot enter.

Mausoleum for the Fallen community members

Individual bases might be a better route, possibly a generic/editable plaque can be added to base tools, install the plaque to a wall and edit it to show the name of the character. Or a generic statue, male and female versions that can be costumed and named and placed in base. -
Should folks who contribute get something extra?
Voltor replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Giving awards for donating would technically make it "pay to play" and I don't think NCSoft would like that. Call it a hunch The reward for donating is the game itself. It exists and donations maintain its existence, that is all the reward we need. -

Yeah might be the better way in terms of design and coding. The original idea was a bit grandiose but still nothing wrong with thinking big. -
Mausoleum for the Fallen community members

Or perhaps similar to the STO memorial that has plaques with the names of all that worked in Star Trek, perhaps an eternally lit torch with a plaque then when clicked opens a window that says "In Memory of the Fallen" or something like that and it is a scrollable window that shows the global and main toon name. -
We have the memorial characters scattered around the game and that is fine, such as Coyote in the tutorial for example But in light of just learning that player @Anne Marie has just passed today (Sovereign members are in Ouro right now with torches on Excel) I was thinking about a Mausoleum for the fallen Have it floating in either Echo Plaza or Ouroborus, with a memorial flame burning in the center of it, with long, high walls with plauqes for the fallen and also space for the sad day when new plaques are needed. Clicking a plaque brings up a memorial of the character with their name and right clicking the character for info can show game related info about them, not IRL info of course just game info. Like a brief description of who they were, the server(s) they were on, etc. I am not asking for the removal of the memorial characters that are currently in game, of course.

My human-only perma lightform PB is doing just fine with all the badges. Also not a huge fan of the changeling method, but mileage varies.

There are builds out there for human-only Peacebringers and Warshades. You don't have to take the transformation powers if you don't want them

Suggestion: Obtain Whispered Rumor tip mission year round
Voltor replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Back on live there was a redside mission that could be run, I forget the name of it but it was the one where you raided a warehouse containing wedding/anniversary gifts for Manticore and Sister Psyche, at the end of it you got a valentine tip that could be run. But one could also run DJ Zero on live and now after the event and get V-tip at the end of the mission also. -
Suggestion: Obtain Whispered Rumor tip mission year round
Voltor replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Valentine Tips seem to be awarding year round and can be used to obtain the spring badges, I have had alts work the Valentine Tips to obtain the spring badges and alts with left over Whisper Rumor tips run them to obtain one of the badges from it. The only Spring badges that can't be obtained year round is handsome/beautiful and the badge for doing the revive Red Widow mission. If you have alts that unlocked DJ Zero you can run his snaptooth mission a total of 10 times, year round, and still gain the badges from it. This was the same on live, and completing that mission does give a valentine tip. Given how many badges are in the Halloween event, I don't see any problem with obtaining Whisper Rumor tips year round via spending Halloween salvage to get them. -
In the spirit of the Summer Blockbuster being available all year, let us look to the Halloween Event for a moment. This yearly event has the most badges of all the yearly events. Some of which come from multiple runs of the Whispered Rumor tip mission to obtain the badges from that part of the event. However if an alt has the Whispered Rumor tip mission after the event is over, it can still be run this giving another alt or player a slight bit of help in starting Halloween badging early or perhaps gaining a Tip mission badge they missed before the event ended. So the suggestion is this: for the price of 100 pieces of each of the Halloween costume salvage pieces for a total of 400, one can go the vendor in Croatoa or the one that is redside and purchase a Whispered Rumor tip mission. You can only have one of these tip missions at a time just like during the event. This way people that missed getting all the Halloween Tip mission badges during the event can catch up, or someone can send a new alt through the tip missions to give them a head start on Halloween Event when it runs again. Also it would give us something to do with all that Halloween salvage.

Lord Schweinzer is the contact in Port Oakes that offers all the mayhem missions, there is a submarine docked right where he is....so how come he sends us all over Port Oakes to run the mayhems? Shouldn't that submarine be the one and only entrance to any of the mayhems? The contact in Steel uses the Police Van right next to him to enter all the safeguard missions.

In all the years I've played I have never seen the turret guns on Lambda spawn like this after we emerge from getting the grenades. The guns were all in their normal positions atop the walls when we started. So, spawn error when we returned after getting the grenades? Can the guns be moved via Foldspace? Doesn't seem likely as tp ally/enemy can't move them

Actually that would be Rama-Tut, who would later become Kang then later Immortus whom we saw at the end of Beyond Good and Evil part 4

So when did Sinister make the switch and replaced Jean with Madelyne? Well the intro scenes include the finale of Dark Phoenix, so when Jean was recovering after the Dark Phoenix saga would have been an easy time for Sinister to make the switch, but I don't think so. Xavier I would think would have sensed Sinister's presence so this is not likely when the switch occured. Also the Phoenix flash backs in the intro to me were a hint that we'd see Jean powered up again as Phoenix for a time. However if he did make the switch after the DP saga, then he had obtained Jean's DNA when he had her and Cyclops prisoner in season 2 OR else in Beyond Good and Evil part 1 to 4, Jean is prisoner in the Axis of Time at the hands of Apocalypse and Sinister. Though Sinister was aiding Apocalypse, his research is always his #1 priority and obsession. So THAT is likely when he obtained Jean's DNA for study. He tells her he can start an experiment then go through a portal to the future to see the results. So he starts the cloning of Jean then goes through a portal to the future when the clone is ready and brings her back to the present and stores the clone in one of his labs. The Phalanx 2 parter in season 5 had Sinister's main lab assimilated by the Phalanx. The clone was likely created and stored in another location rather then his main lab, or the clone was created after the Phalanx was defeated. However the clone needs Jean's memories and personality so Sinister bides his time and when Xavier is wounded and removed from Earth is when Sinister moved quickly and abducted Jean and copied her memories and personality into the clone and made the switch. Conclusion, the switch was made after Xavier was taken off Earth, the Xmen were distracted and their guard was down. Sinister basically copy-pastes Jean's memories and personality into the clone and might have programmed the clone with some extra incentive to have a kid with Cyclops. Xmen 97 starts a year after Xavier is gone and the kid is due to be born. Whatever Sinister did to Jean scrambled her mind a bit and she had to relearn her powers but after that she was fine and was relearning her memories. Madelyne gets destroyed in Ep 5 and due to their minds being identical Jean gets Maddie's memories so they are basically one person now. I'm also confident that the Phoenix manifesting in Jean settles the question of whether she was Phoenix in the first place, the Phoenix would know after all.

The condition of Xavier's legs in Xmen Animated/X-men 97 In the comics, his legs were crippled when he fought the alien being Lucifer. He then goes to form the X-men. Years later he is infected by the Brood and becomes a new Brood queen but his mind was salvaged and the Shi'ar cloned him a new body but he had to overcome the MENTAL blocks he placed in his own mind to block the pain from his leg injuries. Eventually he did and he was walking for years until the Muir Island saga finale when his fight with Shadow King crippled him again. In the cartoons: in Season 4 Sanctuary part 1 and 2, Beast recaps how Xavier met Amelia Vought, after Xavier's legs were injured fighting Magneto. We see that he tries to walk as per the therapy but collapses presumably from extreme pain. Nevertheless his legs were shown as being somewhat functional. Season 5: part 1 of the Phalanx 2 part story: he is working in the gym with his legs held together by a brace, but moving rather acrobatically on the parallel bars and what appears to be making his legs swing by moving his lower back and then does a rather acrobatic flip from the bars into his chair..... At the end of Beyond Good and Evil part 4 he is shown STANDING next to Magneto as they talk. He looked like he might be leaning up against Graymalkin station but he was still standing. Season 2: he and Magneto are in the Savage Land, depowered, and Xavier can walk normally....without pain or fatigue as his leg muscles should be rather atrophied despite working out. When his power was restored he fell to the ground as his legs suddenly didn't work. Xmen 97, he was using an exosuit to walk when he appeared with Lilandra, and he was using a cane to hold himself up when the suit came off, and she did help him to sit but his legs appeared to be semi functional without the suit. Also in that same episode he did use his arms to grab his legs and swing them around to get out of bed and into a hover chair and he did the same thing back on Earth to get out of bed and into his classic standard wheelchair. My conclusion is that in the Xmen Animated and Xmen 97 cartoons, Xavier's legs are badly injured, but not totally paralyzed. When Amelia left him as she didn't share his dream he threw himself into his work with the Xmen and for advocating mutant rights but at the cost of fully rehabilitating his legs. His mental powers do not keep him from walking as a side effect, but they do block any pain he may still feel. So his legs are injured badly and not fully rehabilitated, similar to Quincy Harker in the old Tomb of Dracula books. Also one would think the Shi'ar would have fully regenerated his legs so he could walk again

Whenever I use either a winter or anniversary inspiration, I see the symbol for it at my health bar and more symbols behind it depending on how many players/pets are in range. Yet teammates are telling me they arent' seeing anything on their stats Here's an example of what the damage inspiration description says: power Type:Inspiration Target Type:Self Effect Area:AoE -- 20.00 ft. radius (16 targets max) +50.00%% strength to all damage on self Ignores buffs and enhancements unresistable So is it affecting everyone but not showing in their stats? Or is it just a boost to ones own toon? The description above seems to indicate that all in range are affected, yet the other part says "on self" Classic paragon wiki says this: https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Inspirations Present Gift of Power In Game Link:[Inspirations.Holiday.Present] Slash Command: /InspExecName Gift_of_Power You received the Gift of Power and you now strike with a lot more damage. This inspiration gives your character a +50% bonus to damage per person within a 20' radius.

Yes Juggernaut is magic, something that writers I think at times over the years have forgotten or ignored as Juggy has been erroneously called a mutant. In fact when he returned in Season 4 after Gladiator dunked him in the oceans, someone called him a mutant and he yelled that he wasn't one. But even though his strength comes from magic, it seems Morph can copy it, but Juggernaut is not known for speed and agility, Juggy was taken down by Gladiator from speed and leverage and so was morph when he turned into Juggy to attack the Prime Sentinel. Colossus or the HULK or even the THING would have been better choices for Morph to use. Also that "mask" that Morph shapes his head into clearly has some durability to it as he survived getting blasted by Prime Sentinel Trask at close range in his face. That being said though, I would want Juggernaut to help against a Sentinel uprising. They would target him along with other super beings, and he is hard to stop. They would have to bury him in the center of the Earth, or shoot him into space to stop him. However the Xmen didn't try a logic trap on Bastion and the Sentinels and the Prime Sentinels. Sentinels have evolved since their creation, ergo they have mutated and thus could be called mutants. Fulfill Prime Directive. This was done by Nimrod after he was fused with Master Mold and they were fighting the Xmen, they began to self destructs and were blasted into the Siege Perilous with Rogue
-
Possibly, however as those powers are permanently part of Rogue he might be able to copy them

Magneto's memories were a bit scrambled when he said that. Magneto did encounter Wanda and Pietro at his wife's grave in Season 4, I think the title was Family Matters. The High Evolutionary tricked the twins into going after him as he wanted all their DNA on file for his experiments. It was then that he revealed to all of them that Magneto was their father. High Evolutionary is a slightly more benevolent version of Sinister As to Polaris, he didn't meet her in the old series as I recall, however he may have heard of her and her Magnetic powers when she was with X-factor
-
A strategy for the Xmen to keep the Sentinels from rising again: they need to recruit the mutant Madison Jefferies of Alpha Flight. he is a techno-telepath that can shape machinery and reprogram it to whatever he wants. Build him a version of Cerebro that detects Sentinels, and he can scan for them and if he can't shut them down, send in Magneto and Polaris. They can detonate a local EMP blast to shut them and Sentinel factories down. Magneto did this after Cortez boosted his power in Sanctuary part 1 in the old series
-
What a great finale! I am still concerned though about Xavier's mind attack on Magneto. He didn't shut him down and seemed to cure Magneto's hate, but Xavier did say he has his own flood of rotten memories....so did he still absorb any of Magneto's hate into himself? Will the ONSLAUGHT still occur? Also at the end of Beyond Good and Evil part 4 in the original series we see that IMMORTUS was pulling the strings all along. is he still pulling the strings and sent the Xmen through time? Will the Xmen be forced to play a part in the creation of Apocalypse, just as they aided in his destruction in the Axis of Time? Though his essence did survive and possess Cortex in Season 5. Original Cartoon: Cable had been fighting Apocalypse for years in the future, but he has to go back in Season 2 to aid Bishop and the Xmen and as a result this was actually Apoc's first encounter with Cable. Then we later get the Beyond Good and Evil where Apocalypse comes from Cable's future to the Axis of time and tries to stop and restart time itself. Original Cartoon: One Man's Worth part 1 and 2: Fitzroy from Bishop's time makes a deal with Master Mold to go back and kill Xavier before he forms the Xmen, Nimrod goes with him. Bishop and alternate Storm and Wolverine fail the first time and go back again and stop him by showing him proof that Master Mold will be unstoppable without the mutant resistance that was inspired by Xavier and the Xmen. Result: Xavier is saved but Nimrod leaves a piece of himself to merge with a human who then has a kid that becomes the evolved human/Nimrod mutant hybrid Bastion. The original and new series love their time paradoxes.
