Just an idea to end the “looking for farm” broadcasts. Why not make the AE it’s own instance (for lack of a better term). In other words, when in AE you are disconnected from regular chat channels. You can broadcast, but it’s only seen by players within AE.

how do you think players will afford the insta-50 ? They will sit on a farm for the influence.

I don’t necessarily think this is a horrible idea. I do think your reasoning and presentation need a lot of work. Initially, this sounded like a way for you to force a power on someone else. That should never happen. Ever. What you should have tried to sell us on was being able to give away TT as a way to help newer players. Every time I run a TF with someone new or returning to the game, they always ask “where does that power come from?” - now you would have the option of offering it to them, rather than saying “P2W, and oh yeah, make sure you have 10mill to spend”.

As you said, don’t try to make players play the way you would. I have toons that thematically wouldn’t have TT - but I also wouldn’t join something that required it. in the case of your Power Hour - it should have been made clear when recruiting (if it wasn’t) that TT was a requirement. Then kick anyone who doesn’t have it before starting.

I once put together a 4 man Posi 1 - advertised it as such, and quickly found 3 teammates. It’s very possible to put together 4/5/6 man teams, and there are plenty of people out there willing to join up.

Never solo missions or TFs I enjoy interacting to others, and responding to different play style. If I’m forming, I’m happy with 4 total, but always try for 8. Same with any team I join.

If it’s the leader that’s the problem, I dang sure will drop from a TF - but it has to be pretty bad. If it’s the tank/brute, and not the leader - I’ll stick around for as long as it takes.

If someone is really trying to manipulate the market, there is a simple solution that will ultimately cost that idiot a ton of money. Don't pay it. Bid what you normally would and not a penny more.

Oh boy. Fans of every AT will tell you that anything can be made strong enough to stand in a mob. 🙂 Prepare to be amazed with stories of people pushing tanks out of the way on 4x8 ITFs, and soloing Hami In all seriousness, you can build out any AT to do anything you want.

If it’s a taunt that doesn’t pull away from brutes/tanks, I don’t see an issue

It’s sorta a catch-22 You want to fight higher level mobs to get more infl, but you need infl to buy enhancements strong enough to let you fight higher level mobs 🙂

Run content without a 2XP boost. You get it for arresting/killing and for completing missions and Task Forces

I saw a GM tell people to not use the HELP channel a few weeks ago, unless it was asking for or providing help. It was after the annoying troll was kicked, and people were going back and forth about it for around 5 minutes.

I’m thinking the 3 or 4 Indom players have teamed with the 1 from Reunion to take down Excelsior.

The 4 or 5 PVPers left in this game are bored trying to trick newbies into PVP zones. So what’s the answer? I know, bring PVP to all the zones that way they can run around killing unsuspecting/unprepared players and brag about how great they are. Yeah, totally sounds like an improvement that this game needs.

Out of curiosity, has the OP tried different viewing angles? Maybe seeing less of the rotation may help. I don’t know. I don’t suffer from this, but was curious after seeing the pic posted by @Spectral

No spreadsheet needed. My understanding is it goes like this…. Tanks do the most damage. Unless you’re on a Brute, then they do the most. Of course a Scrapper also does the most, but sometimes not. Blaster do more than everyone, unless you don’t like Blasters, then they are the worst.

Yeah! Makes me mad when people think a person joining a team is going to be part of that team. Ridiculous! They act as if this game offers solo play!

I use it on my Bane to both get in close for my melee strikes, and to get away from trouble

I’m thinking Whip and Wind Control will come out at the same time
