I could be thinking about this all wrong. But let’s say HC came right out and said “screw all you babies. Play our way or leave!”, causing everyone to leave. Wouldn’t it just go back to what it was before? A small server of a couple hundred players? It wouldn’t cease to exist, and it’s not like a profitable business would be shutting down. Im not advocating or defending the HC crew. I’m just trying to understand why players think HC has a responsibility to the players - or maybe they do, and I’m just not understanding (which wouldn’t be the first time I didn’t understand something)

I’m just not sure how true that actually is. Yes they were given a license to operate a server - but it’s technically still a private server. They did agree to some things, but still have absolute control over everything. Now, I’m no expert on anything, and may be misinterpreting the whole agreement. However, what I do know is that they are under no obligation to appease the players. Companies such as Sony or Blizzard have to make the player base happy or they will lose money and eventually go out of business.

Maybe I’m wrong - but I thought beta testing was supposed to be about finding issues before going live. Not about offering opinions or pushback about the upcoming changes. Just remember, we are playing in someone else’s sandbox. They have a vision for the game, and have every right to implement that vision. This isn’t a publicly traded company that has to appease shareholders, nor is it a for profit that has to do whatever they can to make the customers happy. Like it or not, it is still just a private server that has allowed us all access to play along.

It’s even worse knowing that they knew this would be required upon release, but delayed it 6months - and still sold it to areas that can’t get PSN……without saying a word

I actually like that idea @Captain Fabulous One change I would make is to have the system assign you the number after #. That way you can see exactly how many “Fire Bolts” are actually running around. You may decide that you don’t want the same name as 325 other players.

I’ve actually caught and kicked people before for activating the computers after I asked everyone not too. Not sure why someone would want to intentionally make a mess of things.

I really can’t see an instance where someone would check the box saying they’d be willing to give up the name. Maybe I’m wrong. Once I name a toon, last thing I think about is ever giving it up. At that moment, it’s the greatest toon I have - and I’m extremely proud of everything from the powerset, to the costume, to the name. Once I’ve played it awhile and moved on to the next greatest ton, I’d be willing to discuss the name. But before that, I can’t imagine coming up with a better toon.

Can you imagine how bad the recharge times would be for a spear set? 1. Throw spear 2. Run over and pick up spear (recharge) 3. Get back into position (also recharge)

The OP is starting to make progress - I’m impressed! Originally he wanted his toon to be nudists, and now he wants clothes!

With 2XP A KM +4x8 ITF will usually get you 4-5 levels. A KM +4x8 Market Crash will get you 3-4 levels. Just be aware, they may also get you a few deaths.

Should there be changes? If brutes are the most played AT, and the vast majority seem happy with them the way they are - is there a need to change them?
