If they don’t advertise it as speed and then say it is before starting, I drop and let them know I’m not interested. If they start it and I suddenly find out it’s speed, I usually just lag behind doing my own thing. Let them run off like a crazy person. I’m not following.

Don’t know if it’s the same guy or not, but I was once on a +4 KM ITF This particular brute (I think it was) ran off fast as he could while the leader told him “not a speed run”. He would run into mobs, aggro and die. He had no rez so he would quickly hit the hospital, come back and repeat the process over and over again. None of us got upset because it was so funny to watch. Anyways, it is annoying to see players completely ignore the leaders requests and run off to do their own thing. After a warning, they should get booted. Simple.

Dang, I love the hell out of Staff Fighting - I have more staff toons than any other attack power of course I just enjoy playing and don’t care about the numbers - so what do I know

@yzdragel Wonderful story, but I don’t see where you address the complaint some players have. That the camping MMS kill Ada so fast, they don’t have the opportunity to earn the badge. Let me take a guess - you have your precious 1500 badges, so you don’t care? Funny you’re asking for acceptance and kindness - how about having a little in return

Funny thing is, it’s not hard to find threads where people ask about something previously asked, only for someone to reply with links to the previous threads saying “no need to start another thread” Damed if you do, damned if you don’t.

Nah People gonna do what the wanna do. Just like those that still use Help channel for conversations, or to ask for farms. They only care about themselves and the all important world they are the center of. The only way a separate channel would ever work, is if farmers ONLY recruited from those channels - but I still think people would spam LFG “just in case”

You can’t run through walls. Easy fix is to not set to follow

They are definitely a lot of work - but also a lot of fun once you settle on a build.

Highness - I would go with a scrapper myself. Savage/WP or dual blades/WP Id make her look sweet and innocent out of combat, and a complete homicidal maniac when in.

Sorry this happened to you @Solarverse I was on that team, and was wondering why both tanks suddenly dropped. We figured it was because the leader was taking so long to try and fill. For what it’s worth, the leader disco’d during the 2nd (maybe 3rd) mish, and never returned. Also, I don’t know if this person was just having a bad day, but I’ve run with him/her plenty of times and it’s always been smooth. They’ve always been nice, and I’ve always happily joined on of their ITFs.

Weird thing (to me) is they never tried to move. Just let the WS bump them until they finally fell - which took about 2 minutes on each camper.

I saw two of them get bumped off the platform last night around 10pm cst by a WS. The first one stayed where they fell. The second immediately jumped back onto the platform. A minute later, the first jumped back on. 😞

I actually had to make a complaint against someone because of this. They followed me around Cim, constantly doing it. After asking them to stop 3 times, I sent off a complaint and logged.

Or a mod could kick them from the area, and issue a warning - seems much easier than recoding

Of course it will. No one stops after getting what the want. They want more and more and more. It’s a never ending cycle.
