Try this then. Go on Beta, roll a rad, an Elec, and a shield, using my builds. Then roll an invul. Go to monster island agro 4 GMs see which one survives the longest. Then run any praetorian AV arc with the mixed damage types prevalent in late game, or even some dark astoria arcs. Tell me which one come through easiest. Keep in mind I'm an invul player also, its very good, but there are various mechanics that allow the others to surpass it in the end. Or if you would like to run with my SG we are a fun crazy bunch you are more than welcome to, I could show you what they are like. And please don't take this as a flame or me trying to one up you - thats not it at all, I assure you, I remember reading you back on live and always like what you had to say, I am simply looking to collaborate with you if you would have it.

I have never played ice or even explored options with it - so I am ignorant to the ways of ice tanking, but that is interesting. Why is that? what mechanic allows ice to be so good at that?

Add Shield and Elec to that top tier also. You can res cap everything but toxic and psi - almost capping psi also on elec with soft capped melee defense. Then you have energize which combined with high recharge is a great self heal thats back so often it almost counts as regen. On shield You can incarnate soft cap the positional defenses and res cap everything but toxic and psi with a little trickeration with rotating one with the shield and melee core to almost perma the result. Then throw in ageless radial for the debuff resistance and you will never need a self heal at that point. Shield and elec are my top 2 followed closely by rad. Energy is so prevalent in enemy types late game rad was a little more tricky but can mitigate energy damage if you stay on your toes.

Yeah it would be hard for me to suck it up and play a stoner up even for theme purposes. Its way too slow and dependent on a kinetic pocket defender to be as useful as newer sets. It really needs a buff of some kind. Invul is really good but chasing the front runners is a good way to describe it.

1. They arent quite ready to get it yet? What level are they because you can start on the atlas medallion at level 1. 2. Has the one guy that dont use weapons unlocked any of the other accolades? Quigley down under "I said I didnt have use for them, never said I couldn't" Just because someone doesn't use a blaster dont mean they can't. Even Jedi have used blasters when they needed to. By your own admission you arent utilizong content that exists to do exactly what you are asking for. That you can start seeking at lvl1.

The game doesnt exist to please you alone. You act like you are entitled to this because you want it and need it so bad. Nobody has to compromise any with you because your ideas are trivial and not aimed at improving the overall arc of the game at all except for you alone.

You arent talking about making the game better though, you are talking about making it suit your search for self worth when what you seek already exists. Thats wasted energy with a limited dev team when that time and energy would be better served being directed at things that need fixed or dont already exist. Because You have an extremely distorted view of how the game should work, and it likely transfers to a lack of self worth in your real life. Thats why no artificial line will ever be good enough for you.

The person that sat around wanting to do nothing was Tom Paris and Reginald Barkley. They had the same unlocked ability to be anything though and later did. You choose your own path. What you seek already exists.
