  1. Count me amoungst those who LOVE bonfire with KB-KD! That said, it's on a blaster who is thrilled to have any control at all.
  2. Yes, that is ripe for abuse! There's so much money to be made in providing standard goods like IOs, ATOs, converters, that I stay away from market manipulation or anything that doesn't provide a net good to the community, but I have to admit I'm tempted here just to see what can be done... (ok... the moment passed and I won't do it... but I was tempted).
  3. Turns out you were correct! Corruptor wasn't so poor a seller after all. In fact, it sold out. I had some time to kill so I went through my alts to see what was left unsold. I tallied them carefully (instead of eyeballing them before). Unfortunately, I didn't track what I converted and I know I converted a bunch of kheldian, sentinel and corrupter to Brute and blaster. That means this list of what hasn't sold isn't as good a sign for demand as it could be. ATOs left unsold of 1,665 put on market from 7/4/2020 to 7/10/2020. Brute and Blaster were put on for 10 million, all others for 8 million. Those in yellow had many ATOs converted from or to. Brute 102 SoA 75 Controller 33 Mastermind 30 Kheldian 28 Dominator 27 Scrapper 23 Defender 17 Stalker 11 Sentinel 3 Tanker 1 Blaster 0 Corruptor 0 Total 350 I kept some pretty good notes, but will try to make them even more detailed next time (for my own sake. As someone who traded options pretty heavily in the past I almost can't help wanting to keep really detailed notes). And I'm up to about $10.7 Billion. My next challenge will be to find something interesting (and not ebil) to do on the market.
  4. Right, I reinvested the proceed, bought more, sold those, reinvested the proceeds, etc. And it took a few hours each day for most of the week. So not the easiest money for time spent, but I enjoyed the challenge.
  5. After a week, starting with $5.7 billion, buying super packs, and selling the components, rinsing and repeating I put over 1,500 ATOs in circulation and I now have about $9.7 billion with about 300 ATOs still for sale. Most ATOs were put on exactly as they came from the super pack. I did convert about 50 or 100 Kheldian, sentinel and Corruptor ATOs to Brute and blaster. Of the ATO's not sold, the largest number are, by far, Brute (!!!). Blaster, Tanker, scrapper and stalker (surprisingly) sold well. Kheldian, SoA and Sentinel sold slowly, but that's no surprise. Defender was a really slow sell and controllers moderately so. Corrupters and dominators sold slowly too. However, overall sales were great. 1,200 (at 8 million for most and 10 million for blaster and brute) sold in a week FAR surpassed expectations. And returns were more than projected. Too bad the market is saturated now and so I'll have to move on to other things.
  6. First off, this is a great tool! I hope it gets built out to include things like procs, but this is super helpful. Edit: Whatever I was seeing before is gone now! The order of enhancements is as expected!
  7. During the winter event. Basically December through February. They cost 10 million instead of 25. Boy, did I make a LOT of cash off of that...
  8. Interestingly, while I think so highly of team inspirations, I too have drops turned off. But I'm a huge trader or Super packs so I have many in Character items/email that I can grab anytime (I just counted and I have 2,091 team inspirations there, almost all types with more than 100). This way they don't take up room in the tray and any alt on the account can use them. Of course, super packs are a lot of work and $$.
  9. Velocity of money matters too. If I know I'm likely to be able to log on several times a day (such as when working from home) I will go for the quicker sale. If I can sell something that cost 1.5M to craft for 2.5M reliably once a day or 6.5M a week (for 1MM and 5MM profit, respectively) I can turn the 2.5MM over 7 times and net 7MM in that same week. If I doubt I'll be able to log in much, then the higher priced option makes a lot more sense. I also find that the longer wait times make for less reliable sales prices.
  10. After less than two days I made back my entire investment, bought a bunch more super packs and dumped the ATOs on the market. A day later I've made back 82% of my investment and I have just under 900 ATOs still out there selling. I estimate that over half of all ATOs for sale are mine. Quite a fun exercise! Too much effort (even with some semi-automation) to do regularly.
  11. @Snowdazegave me this macro: /macro opacks "salvage_open S_HVSuperPackSalvage$$salvage_open S_RVSuperPackSalvage$$salvage_open S_WinterPackSalvage" You just click it as fast as you'd like and it opens your superpacks. I opened 570 the other day in under 5 minutes.
  12. It really is easy money. It's a bit complicated, but there are guides showing how to do it and once you've been through the process, it's easy to make big $$. But it is a fair amount of work and not everyone wants to click that much.
  13. This is so totally me... I pay outrageous amounts to buy for my alts. I built up all this inf so I wouldn't have to worry about it (well, that and the chicks LOVE a hero with a huge wad of influence 😉). For instance, I have hundreds of ATOs on the market right now. I have an alt that needs ATOs... I could go through all my alts selling, find the right ATOs and email it to my alt. Or... I could save a ton of time by just grabbing it off the market for 10M. It's a complete, utter waste of 2M ( times 12 ATOs), but I don't even think twice about it.
  14. In response to this liquidity "crisis" I've put about 1,500 super packs worth of ATOs into the market. About 900 are already in and the other 600 I'm working on (even semi automated it's a LOT of clicks!). All ATos are going on sale for 8,000,000 (I put some earlier ones in at 5,000,000). In a few weeks I'll see what's left and convert any non-sellers. I kept special track of the last 570 packs I opened (all R&V). That data is below. There is a slight expected gain, but it's a pretty huge time commitment for that gain. I also learned that you can only have 10,000 brainstorms in salvage at one time. Who knew? This is from 570 Rogues and Vigilantes Packs: Number Gained Gained per pack Expected Sales Price each (after fees) Total Gained per pack (after fees) Enhancement Unslotter 781 1.37 126,000 172,642 Catalyst 86 0.15 2,025,000 305,526 Converter 828 1.45 67,500 98,053 Booster 146 0.26 1,125,000 288,158 ATOs 699 1.23 7,200,000 8,829,474 Rewards X25 238 0.42 5,062,500 2,113,816 Brain StormX20 596 1.05 405,000 423,474 Total 12,231,142 ATOs gained from the 570 packs: Stalker 56 Scrapper 65 Blaster 49 Dominator 45 Kheldian 52 Tanker 52 Mastermind 52 Sentinel 63 Controller 47 Corruptor 58 SoA 61 Brute 56 Defender 43 Total 699
  15. I sell the ATOs. Mostly because catalyzing them requires having a lvl 50 of the right class. (I've heard rumors that some people have figured out how to catalyze without having a level 50 of that AT, but I haven't figured it out.
  16. Show me someone who both likes the gambling aspect and is open to learning and I’ll show you someone who will be rolling in influence in no time!
  17. Interestingly, in looking through my alts not everything sold. A good amount did, but about a quarter of what I put on the marker hasn't (yet). Surprisingly, there's some of everything in the unsold tray. Tons of solider of Arachnos (which I'l probably end up converting), lots of dominator, but even a fair amount of tanker and, much to my surprise, more brute than I'd expect. Of course, I just put them on the market yesterday, so this is quite quick. In contrast, I still have half a dozen winter's bites not sold from months ago.
  18. Thank you! I had hundreds, maybe a thousand, ATOs sitting in email (well.. Character Items) waiting to be collected but I was being lazy and not doing anything with them. I threw them all on the market and they sold quite well and for good $$$. Normally I convert a lot, but this time I just threw them all on the market. Even things that don't usually sell (I'm looking at you, Kheldian) sold well.
  19. Maybe 50 million. Enough to get TT and some other P2W items plus enough to get a few ATOs when they reach level (although often they just grab them from email).
  20. @icesphereBonfire has only the one slot and it has a sudden acceleration: Knockback to Knockdown slotted. Come to think of it, however, a few recharges in there would make it be up more often.
  21. Because I've been dealing in Super Packs for the last 6+ months, I have a lot of odd stuff lying around. One of them is hundreds of Candy Canes. I went to the Elf and bought all the badges and temps powers. Now what? It looks like my only real option is Buying, crafting and selling Winter's Gift, which should give a smallish profit. I could get a respec recipe for 500 canes, but that seems like a bad deal since they cost 10X what Winter's gift costs while selling for about the same plus I have 53 sitting in Character Items (not to mention all the free ones I got). Any better ideas? Maybe just throw the canes on the market and take what I get? Do they get any more valuable during the winter event?
  22. I think inspirations don't get the love they deserve and Team Inspirations doubly so. I trade a LOT of Super Packs so I find myself in possession of crazy numbers of Team inspirations (sitting in Character Items in Email where they don't take up space and I can grab them any time!). As such, I've played around with them a lot more than most people and I've found a few great uses for them: 1) In an ITF, pop a large team break-free (or whatever it's called) right after Rommy is killed and before he re-awakens. No one has to break LOS and no one gets stunned. You do need three, one for each of his respawns. 2) In Hami raids. I get on one of the damage teams and hit 10+ large team damage inspirations right was we go for Hami. I have never failed a raid where I did this and more than once we zerged Hami even though going in they didn't think we'd be able to. 3) If a TF is going south I'll grab a bunch of whatever it is we need most (Usually either damage or defense). This has turned around many an AV fight that was going badly. I'm sure there are a ton more good uses, and I'd love to hear them. My only regret is that teams almost never notice that they've been buffed from out of nowhere and it helped turn the tide for us.
  23. The Power Build up in Power Mastery effects Dam, acc, healing, defense, endurance, confuse, terrorize, hold, immobilize, stun, sleep. Your point (albeit about Power Boost) is well taken that those are not necessarily a huge help.
  24. @SeigmoraigDoesn't the power build up in Power Mastery buff much more than just dam/acc? If I recall it buffs almost all aspects of your buffs and debuffs from your powers (-def, +/-recharge, etc). I'm not sure if that buff works on tornado, thunderstorm and the rain powers (someone out there must have tested it...) but if it does then moving to aim is giving up a lot more than just a little damage.
