  1. Just sold out! That was a TON of fun... Surprisingly, only at the absolute end did I get the price below 50K (I saw one for 41,111) and the bids below 10K (I think 9995 was the lowest I saw!). The biggest issue was that in getting influence you can only collect 32 items worth of influence and then you have to wait 35 or 40 seconds. Next time, I might have to split this between different accounts so I can get around this gap somewhat. I hope you all profited!
  2. 50 minutes into it... the salvage is long gone. The converters are going quick. I’ve sold about 15K and another 15K are coming. I’ll have to email inf soon as I’m approaching the 2 Billion barrier. When I started there were about 34K bids going at 75K. As of now there are 22.8K bids and the price is 52,221.
  3. You should get some converter bids in... I’m pretty sure I have more I’m in the middle of selling than there are bids. You might even pick up some for 5 inf!
  4. Converters at 5 INF start immediately thereafter. 10s of thousands of those. It might take a few hours....
  5. Just thought I'd get the word out on this forum since anyone who reads these topics are someone I'm happy to help. As part of my big Super Pack/ATO sale I have over 40,000 brain storm ideas that have been converted to 2,000 rare salvage. It's ALL going on sale starting at 6:30 pm eastern (22 minutes from now) at 5 inf each. Get some bids in and flip it for some great profit!
  6. Here are my results from the first day of sales. I wouldn't draw too many conclusions as ATOs are slow sellers generally and tend to be bought in batches of 6. Moreover, these don't represent all ATOs sold, just those sold by ME for about 3 billion influence net of Wentworth fees. I'm mostly surprised by the Kheldian numbers, but it only takes a few alts deciding to buy to really skew the numbers in a day. Sold first 22 hours Stalker 61 Corruptor 54 Tanker 45 Kheldian 42 Mastermind 34 Controller 27 Blaster 24 Defender 23 Dominator 20 Sentinel 20 Scrapper 18 SoA 14 Brute 13 Total 395
  7. It used to take me more than 3 hours just to open the packs, and that's the easy part! I've greatly improved my process over time. I'm not terribly concerned with profit, but if I were doing lesser numbers I'd probably do a minimum of 10 and I'd convert all ATOs to brute or blaster. Maybe catalyze everything too. then you might expect a good bit higher return than 23%. You should put them on the market for under 10 million (if you don't catalyze), since you won't sell them for more than that until every one of mine are sold (and I'm considering acting as a market cap on ATOs to make sure they are always available). I haven't done the math here to say how the return might differ. Statistically there's a chance, even when opening 1,000 that you won't get any ATOs and you'll be hip deep in dual inspirations, but the more you open the smaller that chance (and at 1,000 the chance is very close to zero). Given the way super pack rewards are determined, the math is complex. But if you open 10 and handle them right, it's hard to imagine not getting at least a 23% return.
  8. It could well have been me. Before I refined my process I was spending all of an alts money on super packs and when I'd go to sell the ATOs I'd realize I didn't have enough for the market fees. Instead of switching to another alt (which would take time) I'd just throw on all the converters I had and post them at 5 inf. I'd keep doing that until I had enough cash to cover the fees for all my ATO sales on that oon. I was also limited in sales slots, so selling things at 5 and making sure they sold meant I didn't have to deal with running out of slots and waiting until things sold (again, taking time). Of course, it could have been someone else as well. But if I'm not the top seller of converters, I'm in the top 10 for sure. I have 12K to dispose of that I'll probably put up this weekend, but probably at 65K. I seem to play the actual game less and less and the market more and more...
  9. I'm spreading sales across 13 alts. This is so I can have one per AT and can track sales per AT more easily.
  10. And why are candy canes going for 50K now??? I just listed about 700 at 40K and half were snapped up instantly and the rest going quickly. Update: less than five minutes later and every last one sold at 50K! Now there was an unexpected windfall...
  11. Although I kept good notes on my last big ATO sale, I found myself wishing I had done more to track things in detail. So this morning I revised my process, bought 10 Billion worth of super packs (500 Heroes and Villains, 501 Rouges and Vigilantes) and put them on the market. The entire process took under 3 hours (I have streamlined the process a good bit). As usual, I put all 1,188 ATOs on the market for 8 million, except blaster and brute for 10 million. I went through the work to open super packs and get these on the market more for curiosity than profit (ok, and out of boredom...) but I do expect to net about 2.375 billion from it (so, 12.375 billion in sales from ATOs and all other items). 7/25/2020 Blaster 110 Brute 103 Controller 71 Corruptor 101 Defender 81 Dominator 94 Kheldian 88 Mastermind 89 Scrapper 84 Sentinel 89 SoA 97 Stalker 93 Tanker 88 Total 1,188 Other items from packs: 1258 Enhancement Unslotter 144 Catalyst 1587 Converter 233 Booster 1188 ATOs 387 Rewards X25 1080 Brain StormX20
  12. I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion about this... I'm trying to figure out what to put on Hybrid for my Widow. He' currently has a T3 support (Partial Radial Graft). But now I'm thinking of shifting to Melee as I'm often up close and personal with my attacks and the resistance of Core Embodiment would meld nicely with my high defense. That said, I'm not squishy (except for the occasional quick death those who rely on high defense know all too well). But T4s are a expensive an I don't want to burn all those incarnate threads only to find out it isn't all I'd hoped. Thoughts?
  13. And much of life! Showing up really is 90% of success.
  14. As of today I have 112 ATOs still outstanding, so that 238 sold in the last week (at $8 mil each except blaster and brute at $10 mil) I was going to give an accounting by ATO to show velocity of sales by archetype, but I see I must have converted 50 or so SoAs and not documented them, so those details would not be accurate. I should be either sold out, or very close to it, by this time next week. I'm now at $12.375 Billion from a starting bankroll of $5.7 Billion. I should yield about another $800 million for a total of about $13 billion. I estimate I spent 40 hours (and tens of thousands of clicks). Plus I have all the "Exhaust", inspirations and temp powers. I should remember to use the Windfall temp power more often as they should pay off well and I have 164 of them!
  15. Count me amoungst those who LOVE bonfire with KB-KD! That said, it's on a blaster who is thrilled to have any control at all.
  16. Yes, that is ripe for abuse! There's so much money to be made in providing standard goods like IOs, ATOs, converters, that I stay away from market manipulation or anything that doesn't provide a net good to the community, but I have to admit I'm tempted here just to see what can be done... (ok... the moment passed and I won't do it... but I was tempted).
  17. Turns out you were correct! Corruptor wasn't so poor a seller after all. In fact, it sold out. I had some time to kill so I went through my alts to see what was left unsold. I tallied them carefully (instead of eyeballing them before). Unfortunately, I didn't track what I converted and I know I converted a bunch of kheldian, sentinel and corrupter to Brute and blaster. That means this list of what hasn't sold isn't as good a sign for demand as it could be. ATOs left unsold of 1,665 put on market from 7/4/2020 to 7/10/2020. Brute and Blaster were put on for 10 million, all others for 8 million. Those in yellow had many ATOs converted from or to. Brute 102 SoA 75 Controller 33 Mastermind 30 Kheldian 28 Dominator 27 Scrapper 23 Defender 17 Stalker 11 Sentinel 3 Tanker 1 Blaster 0 Corruptor 0 Total 350 I kept some pretty good notes, but will try to make them even more detailed next time (for my own sake. As someone who traded options pretty heavily in the past I almost can't help wanting to keep really detailed notes). And I'm up to about $10.7 Billion. My next challenge will be to find something interesting (and not ebil) to do on the market.
  18. Right, I reinvested the proceed, bought more, sold those, reinvested the proceeds, etc. And it took a few hours each day for most of the week. So not the easiest money for time spent, but I enjoyed the challenge.
  19. After a week, starting with $5.7 billion, buying super packs, and selling the components, rinsing and repeating I put over 1,500 ATOs in circulation and I now have about $9.7 billion with about 300 ATOs still for sale. Most ATOs were put on exactly as they came from the super pack. I did convert about 50 or 100 Kheldian, sentinel and Corruptor ATOs to Brute and blaster. Of the ATO's not sold, the largest number are, by far, Brute (!!!). Blaster, Tanker, scrapper and stalker (surprisingly) sold well. Kheldian, SoA and Sentinel sold slowly, but that's no surprise. Defender was a really slow sell and controllers moderately so. Corrupters and dominators sold slowly too. However, overall sales were great. 1,200 (at 8 million for most and 10 million for blaster and brute) sold in a week FAR surpassed expectations. And returns were more than projected. Too bad the market is saturated now and so I'll have to move on to other things.
  20. First off, this is a great tool! I hope it gets built out to include things like procs, but this is super helpful. Edit: Whatever I was seeing before is gone now! The order of enhancements is as expected!
  21. During the winter event. Basically December through February. They cost 10 million instead of 25. Boy, did I make a LOT of cash off of that...
  22. Interestingly, while I think so highly of team inspirations, I too have drops turned off. But I'm a huge trader or Super packs so I have many in Character items/email that I can grab anytime (I just counted and I have 2,091 team inspirations there, almost all types with more than 100). This way they don't take up room in the tray and any alt on the account can use them. Of course, super packs are a lot of work and $$.
  23. Velocity of money matters too. If I know I'm likely to be able to log on several times a day (such as when working from home) I will go for the quicker sale. If I can sell something that cost 1.5M to craft for 2.5M reliably once a day or 6.5M a week (for 1MM and 5MM profit, respectively) I can turn the 2.5MM over 7 times and net 7MM in that same week. If I doubt I'll be able to log in much, then the higher priced option makes a lot more sense. I also find that the longer wait times make for less reliable sales prices.
  24. After less than two days I made back my entire investment, bought a bunch more super packs and dumped the ATOs on the market. A day later I've made back 82% of my investment and I have just under 900 ATOs still out there selling. I estimate that over half of all ATOs for sale are mine. Quite a fun exercise! Too much effort (even with some semi-automation) to do regularly.
  25. @Snowdazegave me this macro: /macro opacks "salvage_open S_HVSuperPackSalvage$$salvage_open S_RVSuperPackSalvage$$salvage_open S_WinterPackSalvage" You just click it as fast as you'd like and it opens your superpacks. I opened 570 the other day in under 5 minutes.
