Oh I know but I still would like to have an explanation on how to follow these builders/builds. For example: Level 4: Healing Flames (A) Panacea - Hea/Recharge (5) Numina's Convalesence - Heal/Recharge (5) Doctored Wounds - Heal/Recharge I know this mean at lvl 4 I take Healing flames out of the Fiery Aura pool but what does (A) mean? I assume (5) means that at level 5 I need to take Numina's Convalesence - Heal/Recharge and Doctored Wounds - Heal/Recharge but how do I do that? Where do I get these? Are these "skills" you learn from the trainer? Are these enhancement you need to buy from various other vendors or get as drops etc? Does the fact that your background (at character creation) magic vs say mutation change anything? Does it affect these "skills" somehow?

Use a different email and make a new forum and game account if all else fails?

Try removing everything inside the "tequila" key. The "keys" are the folder on the left. To see for yourself right click Tequila in the left box and you will see at the bottom "copy key name". Just delete it. Run Tequila again. It will likely ask install path again.

Look at the install guide, in my siggy. Trying checking firewall again, sometimes stuff happens and you have to let games through it again. Check see is your anti virus is blocking it. It's first time I hear this one tbh.

"I can't get pas log in.." What do you mean exactly? Does the game crash? Do you get stuck at retrieveing character screen? etc etc

I been helping lots on discord and the forums with tech issues and haven't had much time to actually play the game yet...lol Hoping the servers get a bit more stable before I plunge in... ...that said I never got around to trying out this game before it was closed down so I am kind of a CoH virgin and I am not sure how to read/follow much about the builds. Found this build and it looks interesting so have decided to give it a go but tbh I am little lost as I am not familiar with the layout/lingo etc When I am at Miss Liberty how exactly do I follow this? I know at creation I had to take "lunge" from the Spines pool and fireshield from the Fiery Aura pool. At lvl 2 I took spine burst from the Spines pool At lvl 3 I added two "green dots" to spine burst At lvl 4 I took healing flames from Fiery Aura pool At lvl 5 I added two green dots to Healing flames. I think maybe I went wrong starting from lvl 3? Can some one give a an easy run down or quick walkthrough for the first 10 level or so? It kind of sounds like a problem some laptop users have when their thier laptop uses the integrated graphics instead of the gpu. Are you able to monitors what's going on with your gpu/cpu hdd, ssd when this happens?

it gives no errors? Have you read though my install guide? I believe some of the crashing problem are related to permission problems or even Anti virus/windows defender problems.

Plist is something specific to macs I think. I read something a few days ago about mac users on newerOS needing to use a dropdown to start the game so that all the package or something was used/accessible. Also someone else just told me on discord that he thinks mac user need to be on High Sierra or Mojave builds. Don't have time to day to investigate further today and I don't have a mac so can't help more for now. Edit real quick: Source You could always take a look at the thread in this forum, source just above, and look at the last two pages as they are recent even though the thread itself is old. Might give you some insight.

I agree we need to separate bugs and log in/out lost connection issues that tend to be server side from technical issues with installation and the like.

Let me clarify; The data we own today for CoH to run as it has is licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0) Source: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ specifically referring to commercial purposes; this would allow donations to be accepted to individuals towards their values and cause, not to the product itself. I understand them not accepting donations. Accepting donations for running costs falls under for profit which could be an issue.

I am fairly certain that it is safe. What you can do to check for yourself is to go to my Install Guide and res fix etc thread and use the tequila.xml there to compare. See link in my siggy below. The tequila.xml download in my thread is from my city of heroes folder and the one in from The Fifth Horseman is from his. They should both look the same.

Cool. If as you work through this you decide you want to help others troubleshoot or provide more in depth help than what is in my guide for linux users (my guide assumes people know enough about linux already etc) I would suggest you make your own Linux Guide so your proper installation write up is right there in the OP. I will happily put a link to your thread in my guide for those needing more advanced guidance or help.
