I generally avoid trailers for things I'll eventually see but saw a bit of this one walking past sportsball. I genuinely can't believe they expect anyone to pay to go to this, it just looks ridiculous. Hoping my trick of expecting the worst movie ever made and then being pleasantly surprised will work, but that's been failing me a lot lately.

Reinstalled Avengers and am liking it pretty well playing the campaign instead of whatever i got into last time. It's flawed but cool and suitably cinematic. A couple things that bother me are they decided that 'toggling on' sprint means you run until you jump and land and then have to toggle it on again (with the screen telling you so if it's necessary for what you're doing). Seems like a fundamental misunderstanding of what 'toggle' means. The other is that I keep getting alerts that better gear is available every two seconds but there doesn't seem to be an auto-equip better gear setting. It might be that I'm just too early on and that there's gear later you might want to keep on at a lower level but it's not shown up yet so seems an odd choice. Generally the controls are pretty bad, but I've played worse.

My top steam time is 509 hours in NBA2k16, which i got either free or basically free in a humble bundle, don't remember. But seeing as i've lost years of my life to CoH two different times and the sub was cheap the first time around, it's still the all-time champ.

Just finished Fall of the House of Usher on the Nettedflix. Thought it'd be one of those 15 minutes and nope out series but ended up really liking it. And is only the one season so no cancellation on a cliffhanger worries

Ok I've seen all three eps now and liked them. Not sure I'd have wanted either Runaways or New Mutants to be like this. But then I liked Runaways better than any MCU tv show so far, and was pleasantly surprised by New Mutants, which I was expecting to be more along the lines of what Morbius and the Venoms were. Also how great is the name London Thor

started watching the yoobs today and i evidently accidentally the mode that sticks you right in end game grind mode rather than the good story stuff. gonna try it again as it looks much better than what i was playing

I snagged it for a few bucks having heard that it was good apart from some grindiness, which I can usually deal with. I rage quit it after searching around for the tutorial level for 10 minutes then getting bored during said tutorial. Sadly this was several days past the deadline for a steam refund. I may watch a yoobs of the story stuff one day.
