And here is the first bit of character art I've drawn in awhile - my Rad/Fire blaster Chernobyl Dawn in her revised costume. I'll try inking it later, but since I almost always end up ruining the sketch when I do that, I wanted to scan the original drawing first.

Back on live in 2011, I did a bunch of chibi-art for various people in the forums (under my old handle TemerousNox). I basically haven't drawn much since then, but I found a nice deal on a graphics tablet, and I hope to start doing it again once it arrives. I'll post the rest when I get home and upload them, but in the meantime - here is a chibi I did for Christopher Robin: ETA: And here is a low-rez version of all the chibis I did in one place. I think I'll reroll Mai Yer, The Tattered Magistrate for the group. Her story had always been that she had died in a building collapse, and came back with the help of a not-entirely benevolent spirit, and she could control spirits. (She was ill/thermal, but I might do dark/thermal this time. Or maybe something else...I've got to look at the available sets when I get home.) Being bound the the Isles due to her death would be a good reason to stick to doing heroics there, instead of returning to Paragon. :) ETA: Ta-da!

I continue to love my EM/DA brute. I've gotten her up to incarnate stuff twice now, once on live and again on Homecoming.

The reason I go from 20 to 4 is not for the sake of doing a "low hanging fruit" joke. Hey, good to know! Wasn't meaning to criticise - I always found it amusing and assumed it was intentional. You run a great raid and you know I'm always game to tag along.

ZemyaSoldat was/is my Global ID, after my very first CoV character, Comrade Zemya, who sadly didn't last very long. After the game closed, I started using that as the forum ID for the various successor forums. Gwendolyn Diego is my main character. I'm not sure if the ones I have are high rez...I lost all the original files in the crash, so these were the ones I dumped in my photobucket. But I'll try to get them to you, either way.

Granted at least on Everlasting, the tendency for people to go from 20 to 4 instead of 20 to 7 is that one of the regular organizers of raids on that server is Marajuanaut, and well, at that point going for the "4 comes after 20" joke is really low hanging fruit. I noticed that split when I was running under a different organizer one night - if you are used to the same order, it does become habit. Sadly, I don't think there's a good solution to the bomb thing. I personally don't even bother to try for them, and just go play lookout for GM. @Vanden, A lot of times the vents are assigned to specific teams, so at least you know which one you should be aiming for.

Okay I do not recognize that name from CoH but something in the way you speak of both my art and computer building makes me think you are one of the people from the 606 art forums for whom I built a custom computer and that brings the list under a dozen. Your wording suggests female so I am going to go ahead and call it... Heya Temerous Nox. If that is you, I still remember those cute Chibis you did of (among others) Xllusya. Indeed we definitely need an art section for our creative outlets and a Fun and Games section for bad puns and "caption the pic" type games would be great too! Yes! Got it in one! ;D I guess I didn't use my global handle as my forum name in the old COH forums. Huh! The computer you built for me followed me to Mississippi and back to Wisconsin and now lives on as a friend's live-streaming computer. I built my first computer last summer, and I'm super proud of if. I did manage to back up most of those chibis recently. When we get an art forum, I'll have to repost them.

@Keilis - It's a solid looking build, but I'm definitely going to have to work on it, as those 3 HOs are going to eat up a huge chunk of change (I think my build would have cost me ~200m if I hadn't gotten a lot of those expensive procs through in-set conversions...) I did manage to get up to 12 KB protection on my current build by swapping out the flight speed IO with the Blessing of the Zephyr special. @Rylas - RP-wise, mostly it's the need for Sorcery as her travel pool. I haven't gotten any of the accolades yet, but now that I have a more functional build, I'll be working on that :)

I warn people that I'm a decent (possibly even good) brute, but a horrible tank. And I stand by that. If I manage to keep aggro, that's great and I'm glad to do it, but the tank playstyle isn't for me.

Thanks Keilis - I'll take a look at once I'm at home! When I bought powers, I swapped out the single Aegis in Tough for a second KB protection proc from Steadfast Protection, so I am at least up to 8 on my build.

Excellent! I just finished getting my Rad/Fire/Fire to 50 and was starting to work on a good build for her. This will help a ton!

As someone who is just starting out farming, and not quite ready to break into the high end builds, any chance I could convince you to share your cheaper build?

I've managed to get my old main from live back to 50 and fully incarnated out, but sadly I lost her old build in the great hardware crash of 2012, and the friend who made her original build hasn't come back to Homecoming yet. I've never been one for theorycrafting, so this might be a little rough. Please be gentle with the feedback - I don't have Gwen's resistance numbers ;) Here was what I was going for: * Improve endurance use - the Alpha manages this wonderfully when I'm at 50, but the build is very end heavy when exemplaring. Question: is it worth swapping out one of the end mod IOs in Stamina for another Performance shifter proc? I've already got it in two other Auto powers. * Get some defenses online - I managed between 16-29%. * Improve recharge across the board - Haste is only down for ~35 seconds. * Improve status protection - fantastic when Clarion or Rune of Protection are up, functional the rest of the time * Be reasonably functional while exemplaring - I will be attuning across the board to facilitate this. * Get some extra movement speed - Mystic Flight feels very slow and I'm sick of being the last person to every party. * Stay truthful to the characters RP details - this is why she has Sorcery for her travel, rather than flight where she could have picked up an extra slot for defenses in Hover. * Be reasonably budget friendly. Just to spare everyone from making my mistake: The double merits and Notice of the Well is once per week, not once per week per strike target. I ran the Tarikoss early in the week for my SG mates, then went and solo'd the Dr. Q last night, thinking I'd get the extra merits and Notice. I might have had a small mental breakdown in voice chat when after 5 and a half hours, I finished the thing and didn't get the extra drops.

I believe it's been taken down due to an issue that was dragging one of the shards down.

Wow, we seem to have gotten an influx of spam recently - I think half of the topics on the first page are from bots. I went through and reported a bunch of them - is there anything that can be done to stem the flow?

Jake!! It's Trinity!! Long time, no see!! Literally a 10 year high school reunion, wow. I was Hive-Mother early in BVA (bots/poison), and Gwendolyn Diego (elec/dark brute) and Chernobyl Dawn (rad/fire blaster) later on. I remember playing with both of you, but I don't remember which time (I took a long hiatus due to real world drama).
